But her marriage life isn't going very well as her love for her husband has cooled considerably. Hiroki acts like an ideal husband when around others, but he speaks harsh words to her when they are alone. She lives her days like a bird in a cage. One day, Miwa meets her childhood friend Fuyutsuki Ryo, whom she hasn't seen in years. Back then, Ryo was like a hero to her and loved by her. When she was in trouble, he always came and helped her. They make the fateful decision to spend the night together, and Miwa later finds out that she is pregnant with his child. She doesn't want to divorce her husband and become a single mom because she doesn't have a job. To protect her baby, she decides to tell her husband that she is pregnant with his child.

Waka struggles with a sexless marriage. Her husband, Takato, loves her deeply—but just can't touch her. Meanwhile, Waka’s best friend, Minami, can no longer see her husband, Toya, as a man. Toya, desperate and defeated, is losing confidence day by day. "Can the heart and the body really be separated?" The four of them have crossed a line they can never come back from.

Even though Kenja no Ai is darker and generally better excecuted and acted compared to Otto no Katei wo Kowasu made, both series have a very similar concept. Both are revenge stories, with the main character being a female lead that feels like her life has been destroyed by another person. In both dramas the main protagonists go to extremes to take revenge.

Having lost her mother at a young age, Chisato grew up with her father. She married her university classmate Mayama Yuta, who is now the heir to a large company, and was meant to lead a happy married life, but instead finds herself treated like a “housekeeper” by both Yuta and her parents-in-law.

Then, one day, she witnesses her husband walking affectionately with a young woman, Mitsui Runa. When finding out he betrayed her, she explodes with anger at Yuta, but a struggle with Yuta leads to her getting hit by a car. When Chisato awakens in the hospital, she discovers she’s actually been reincarnated as Runa, and thus, she vows to dedicate her new life to getting revenge on Yuta.

This suspense story centers on Kajin Ayame, a lawyer with a promising future but who lives alone. The story begins when a beautiful and seductive man, Minamoto Ieya, appears before her. He believes that "love = possession" and is suspected of domestic violence against his wife, and is under suspicion of murdering a professor at a famous university. The two are instinctively drawn to each other after the incident, and Ayame works hard to prove Toya's innocence.

Both stories involve revenge with the main character getting close to someone because of the wrongs their family member has committed against them.

Le Jun Kai is a man who lives his life trying to foster a hatred for his enemy and devising ways to seek revenge for his former lover and unborn child. He decides to marry his enemy's daughter, Le Yi, and then proceeds to mistreat her and make her life as miserable as possible, but yet she bears this without retaliation. A problem arises when Le Jun Kai begins to realize he might have feelings for Le Ye Zi.

Both series are revenge stories where the main female lead becomes the teacher of the child of the person/people she is exacting revenge against.

After the death of her parents, Joo Ah Ran plots to ruin the family that destroyed hers. She seduces and marries the son of her enemy, Shin Hyun Woo, who discovers her plan belatedly. With a new face, courtesy of plastic surgery after meeting with a car accident, he decides to exact his own revenge upon her.

Similar where the husband cheats and the wife comes up with a plan to get revenge. Both are a pretty satisfying watch (fingers crossed bc there're both still ongoing)
