depiction of mental health struggles (watch suggestions)

Overall: the heart of this series was in the right place, but it took way too much effort to figure out the plot/characters/timeline in this series. 10 episodes about 15 minutes each. Aired on JC Show YouTube Channel https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLalG2smk62xFJiyPLSsGxIW_4Znk24W_j&si=J4IbxX_npVilW4Rf

Watch Suggestions (to focus on the main couple)
- watch episode 1, watch episode 2 stop at 14 min
- episode 3 watch 6-10:40
- skip episode 4
- watch episode 5 beginning to 10:30
- skip episode 6
- watch episode 7 3:45-16:20
- watch episode 8 for the first 6 minutes to clearly explain the plot/what is happening
- watch episode 9 7-end
- can watch all of episode 10 or start at 5:20 to focus on the guys' relationship

Content Warnings: manhandling, mental health struggles, self harm, discussion of bullying, past death

What I Liked
- that they tried for a different type of plot
- sweet/caring moments
- visuals
- good music
- behind the scenes (though it was almost as long as the episodes)

Room For Improvement
- conversation with the doctor in episode 1 took too long
- I realize they were going for more an artsy/experimental vibe but they could have made timeline jumps back and forth more clear and what was a next episode preview, also if they had removed the exes that would have made things more clear (finally clearly explained in episode 8 what the situation was)
- in ep 10, it was a well intended discussion about the important of talking to a doctor, but then the character talked about slowly reducing the medicine if stopping and it made it feel that the goal should be ending medication when some medication is life long and life saving and there should be zero stigma taking it long-term
- should have moved the 15 minute behind the scenes footage to separate videos

An Intriquing Journey

This series is surprisingly underrated. You need to scratch below the surface...and watch not only the episodes but the prologue scenes as well...to fully appreciate how realistically constructed this series is.

What might seem as a disjointed and confusing story is actually a skillful creation that opens up a doorway to look inside the mind of an emotionally challenged man. As the story unfolds, the pieces start to come together beautifully, creating a vivid picture of his world. The acting is superb.

I'm in awe of how realistically terrifying this series is. At first glance we would guess that Raccoon has it all...good looks, great build, charming personality, incredible smile, and a wild imagination. But as the series evolves...as we delve deeper into his world...the shadows elongate...the foreboding cloud cover darkens the bright skies....And we slowly walk, step by step, into that place where delusion and reality become diffused...entangled together...difficult to separate. This series is just..........incredible.

Bad to Bed is not just a series. It is a journey.

Patience will be rewarded

This is underrated, and it's a real shame that the budget limits the scope of the work, but it is what it is. I thoroughly enjoyed the animated segments, and I was hooked from the first episode, especially as a huge fan of Greek mythology.

There are a few really interesting details / not in a plain sight that make the story richer.

Overall: It's a captivating story of universal human struggles, with a tiny European touch, all woven into this beautiful Asian work of art. I only wish I had the funds to invest in projects like this!

Absolutely Brilliant!

Confounding, convoluted, deeply disturbing but brilliant! Just Brilliant! It makes no sense. Yet it does. This might seem like an oxymoron but what you are watching is a journey. A journey through the mind of a of a deeply disturbed young man as he tries to cope with living with an almost unfathomable trauma. It is his stream-of-consciousness displayed in all its resplendence for us to see and participate in. This series is so creative not only in story but also in presentation. I have no doubt that most will intensely dislike it because it just does not fit into any traditional standard of presentation. Through much of it, you may be confused and might scratch your head and ask yourself, “What am I watching?” However, be forewarned, by the end, you may be forced to confront your own sense of reality. A remarkable and unique series. It is astonishing and I loved it!

Is it necessary to add behind the scenes on each episode?

I havent finished watching this, so my rating might change after the whole series and.
I've only eached episode 3. Each episode is so shorrt, around 20 minutes, but it is then followed by a 15 "behind the scene" scenes, which I dont think is necessary. Just make that seperate after we've seen the whole series.

Diferente…
