The thing I loved most is that this drama not relies on huge shocking twists or over thetop suspense .. instead.. it builds its story through strong characters + meaningful conflicts + situations that feel frustratingly real
The acting was amazing across the board. Every character felt believable and the performances made even the lighter moments enjoyable. The comedy was also perfectly balanced. Just when things started getting intense.. the humor would step in to keep the drama entertaining
The theme really was another reason .. as a student myself i found it hard not to think about how many situations in real life are similar... sometimes people knowingly do the wrong thing simply because theyre confident there will be no consequences.. this drama challenges that mindset asking.. what happens when someone finally decides that enough is enough..
And that makes the story so satisfying
Ofc its not perfect... there are a few flaws.. and some legal or practical aspects arent explored as deeply as they could have been. but honestly.. those issues never felt big enough to damage the overall experience
The plot is engaging.. the pacing stays interesting.. the comedy lands the emotional moments work and the characters make you thriveabout what comin next.. the type that quietly pulls you in... and before you realize it youre fully invested.

Action Drama with Emotions
This was just really amazing overall.I loved that it tackled certain subjects with with a lot of grace, but it wasn't afraid to shy away from the difficult to digest topics. I think it handled certain situations perfectly, albeit with a lot more violence than I was expecting.
I will say I found the over-arching storyline just a tad bit uneccessary, and I think they could have done a better job wrapping that.
Also the chemistry Han-rim and Geun-dae was perfect, as well as Hwa-jin and Gang-seok.
But overall, this was super entertaining and very important.

BEST OVERALL. SOMETHING THAT I WOULD WATCH AGAIN!
I just freshly finished then in the time I write this, but I was really taking my own sweet time with the drama. Another drama, that I didn't skip any part. I have always love drama where every episode is different stories, and there is some inside on the character stories. Highly recommend everyone to watch this and because I'm writing without any spoilers, I can't tell much about lots of best part in this drama. So, you guys should watch it, and give your take out of each episodes. Everyone would have different opinion, but I'm sure most of us would aligned to one.Was this review helpful to you?

Was this review helpful to you?

Eye for an Eye..........
What happens when the system fails? DOWN WITH THE SYSTEM!!! EYE FOR AN EYE!!!If only the monstrous deeds done IRL were punished in the same light. It's only a dream for now. But this drama gives life to the hope the same could be done in the future~
The similarities to Juvenile Justice were nice albeit that one was more heavy and more criminalistic in nature by the end but the same theme. Putting kids in their place and if they cannot reform, put them away~
An organization dedicated to righting wrongs in the educational system. The main characters had dark stories behind their organizations forming. The cases they were tasked with encompassed all sorts of misdeeds done knowingly by teens and the occasional teachers and adults with influence outside like to overbearing parents. So all involved different approaches~
This was engaging and impossible to put down. Cast all played their parts to perfection. The hard nosed attacks was refreshing during a time IRL where kids are coddled and get away with anything. This is a must watch and could easily warrant a second run like Taxi, Crash, and Bloodhounds~

A unique perspective within a saturated Kdrama genre
One might feel saturated by the trend of Korean high school bullying dramas, but this show has a unique flair. Instead of handling bullying solely from the students’ perspective, it shifts the responsibility to the adults. I genuinely liked how the series not only emphasizes students bullying one another but also highlights the fact that students can bully teachers, teachers to parents and vice versa. The bureau’s scope of work is presented in a holistic way, incorporating an array of perspectives that allow viewers to appreciate the efforts being made to improve the Korean education system.Of course, realistically, this form of “corporal punishment” would be a long shot. However, it is such a breath of fresh air to see a show where students can rely on adults, as they should.
After Episode 1, I wondered how the story would progress and whether it would focus on a single school, with the drama unfolding from there. However, considering that the protagonists work as a bureau, it made perfect sense for them to reach out to different schools and address a variety of issues. It was also smart to build the story around the educational system in a way that directly involves the government. Doing so allows us to see just how broad the bureau’s reach and impact actually are. On a side note, I love how we still see some characters in the previous episode being part on later episodes. It gives a continuity and closure on their part AND Damn all the political agendas of other politicians for their own political gain, big F.
Overall, I really liked the show. It wasn’t too serious and had plenty of funny moments, but it also knew when to hit you emotionally (I cried a few times). The cast was phenomenal, and the soundtrack was great too. My love for Kim Mo-yeol only grew after watching this because he acted SO well here, he’s defo made for these kinds of dramas. My favorite grandpa, Lee Sung-min, is also in the cast, which is always a bonus. Seeing P.O. in this kind of role made me excited for his future projects as well. And Ki-joo, I absolutely loved her unhinged personality in this one and I’m so excited to see more of her.
Definitely one of the more refreshing school-themed dramas I’ve watched recently.

Finally, the Adults Did Their Job
One thing I really liked about this drama is that for once, the students weren't left to fight everything on their own. In most school-action bullying/crime theme dramas, the adults are either useless, corrupt, or conveniently absent. At best, you get that one poor righteous teacher trying to save the day. Here, the system actually decided to do its job.Honestly, if I were Minister of Education, I'd be taking notes. The stakes feel real, but it never forgets that it's supposed to be fun to watch. The story handled multiple issues very well be it bad teachers, bad parents or bad kids. No one is saint and this 360 degree portrayal of the education system feels genuine.
I haven't read the webtoon, so I can't compare, but as a standalone, it was good work.
The cast was great (the high school kids looked a little old for high school but makes sense). The action scenes were solid, and overall, it was great.

VIOLENT BUT VERY GOOD
ALTHOUGH THE SHOW IS QUITE VIOLENT AT TIMES - I BELIEVE IT DOES REFLECT ONE OF THE BIG PROBLEMS TODAY THAT GRADES AND RESULTS IN SCHOOL ARE WHAT MATTERS NO MATTER HOW YOU GET THEM. THE BULLYING IS ALSO A VERY BIG PROBLEM IN MY OPINION AND , AGAIN, ALTHOUGH THE HANDLING SEEMS EXTREME, IT DOES FACE THE PROBLEM. THE RESPECT TOWARDS TEACHERS WHICH IS ALSO GOING DOWNHILL IS ALSO PORTRAYED VERY WELL.AGAIN, VIOLENT FOR DRAMA EFFECT BUT THE MESSAGE IS VERY MUCH TO THE POINT AND SHOWS THAT THERE IS A PROBLE WITH SOCIETY AND EDUCATION NOWADAYS.I AM ALMOST AT THE END AND I REALLY HOPE THERE WILL BE A SEASON 2 WITH THE SAME ACTORS - ALL THE SAME ACTORS (LIKE TE MIN ACTORS IN TAXI DRIVER)

The fl icked me... ಠ_ʖಠ
Alright, I literally like this. There have been so many dramas like this lately, where it's about bullies getting a lesson or fighting at school—like Study Group, Weak Hero Class 1, and The Glory. There are just so many right now in K-drama.Since Study Group, I haven't been able to watch anything like that. I just tried it because I was really craving something to watch and I was too bored. I thought I would get bored after 10 minutes into the first episode, but it hooked me just like how the webtoon hooked me when I read it.
Unfortunately, despite me being awed by the cinematography, the lesson, and the satisfaction (of bullies getting schooled) in the first two episodes—the FL, who constantly shouts and sounds like a robot, is so annoying. I know it's been years since I read the manhwa, but I think they should have stuck to that mature, older-sister look (and no, I am not a gooner). Like, wtf even is that? Why did they have to cast a cute girl? I really dislike how she delivers her lines. How is that even cool? Where is the teasing, snickering look from the webtoon?
I don't know, I think it's because I expected too
much. Actually, I was hesitant to watch this drama because I had seen countless edits of the girl shouting, which pisses me off so much. I still tried it because my friend recommended it to me. The first two episodes made me excited to see the FL because my expectations were high based on those first two episodes—unfortunately... Sadly, this is how it ended up: me dropping this drama.
My real mommy im han rim, you are lost 🥀

A Strong Start And Finish!
Due to the length and number of episodes, this might be a difficult binge but I managed it. The first episode instantly pulls you in wifh the story of 2 bullied high school boys. We see their perspective and what feeling like going to school feels like. Until the male lead steps in and boy! WHAT AN INTRODUCTION! I was simply delighted!Unlike most plots surrounding bullying, this drama doesn't stick to one school or one type of case. The protagonists move around from school to school. The victims also differ but the common theme is it's all related to problems at school level. That was gopd because I could see their line, "if adults are afraid of children, the country is done for" (paraphrased) becoming problematic as throughout history young people and students have led to a revolution. Of course context matters. In a school setting, if teachers are afraid of students, they will turn a blind eye to injustices.
The drama overall is an easy watch! I loved when the FL was introduced in episode 3! With every episode I was curious how the team will tackle these new situations. And I'm sure I won't be alone in wishing that such a department actually existed in the world. I haven't read the webtoon to make comparisons but I wonder if that is the reason why they didn't cover sexual harassment and assault cases among minors. Or perhaps they wanted to highlight other cases?
I enjoyed the action but my enjoyment at times was ruined by the camera moving too much. I understand that the aim was to dramatise it and express more movement but it felt like it was a cover for the ability of the actors. There were many parts that were still enoyable but perhaps not my favourite show for action for this reason. I would enjoy the overall scene but I didn't bother to rewatch the action sequences like I usually do because nothing was clear. Just too much movement during the harder fight scenes.
The team worked really well together so after Taxi Driver, this team's chemistry is great.
The music is also fun to listen to!
Give it a watch and hopefully you will enjoy it too.
