A Dog and a Plane relies heavily on the timeless charm of Tay and New, delivering electric chemistry and endless comedy even when the overarching plot feels a bit disjointed. Tay Tawan and New Thitipoom’s off-the-charts dynamic shines through the classic "opposites attract" trope, flawlessly balancing Khanit’s pristine, put-together demeanor with Toto’s delightfully cringey, loud, and quirky energy. The series starts on a high note with an engaging setup centered around Khanit’s cheating ex-boyfriend, the secret debt, and the fun revelation that Toto had been harboring feelings for Khanit all along while acting as his spy. The acting and romantic payoff throughout these early stages are top-tier, making for an immensely enjoyable watch. However, the narrative loses steam when it transitions into the second half. Khanit’s deep, intense love for his ex was portrayed so heavily in the beginning that his sudden shift toward dating Toto felt a bit too fast and unearned. Furthermore, once the initial drama settled, the sudden turn into a standard "pleasing the strict parents who look down on Toto's job" plotline felt like a strange shift in pacing. While the storyline could have definitely been tighter and more cohesive, the sheer charisma of TayNew, paired with fantastic romance scenes and great comedic beats, makes it a fun ride overall.Was this review helpful to you?
Toto and Kanit or Tay and New??
Oh my precious TayNew 🥹🥹 I absolutely ADORED this drama. It's the first in a while that I actually watched while airing cause I couldn't wait lol. TayNew is my Ult couple and the reason I actually got into Thai BLs so I may be biased but I enjoyed every moment of this drama.TayNew have undeniable chemistry and it really shone in this drama!! Tay was so goofy I was literally laughing every episode it was such a good time. New I cannot with how CUTE that man is. I often found myself forgetting that they were playing Kanit and Toto cause it just felt like I was watching Tay and New be themselves.
I will definitely be watching this drama again, the story was goofy and not serious. The drama was fun and not stressful. All the actors did an amazing job portraying their characters. I want more (maybe a special episode 👀) Highly HIGHLY recommend!!

I love seeing TayNew in their working era. A content creator explained the title of the series, and it made me appreciate it even more. The "dog" isn't just about acting like a dog. It represents someone from a lower social class, while the "plane" symbolizes someone from a higher class. Knowing that adds another layer to the story.I like how this series made me smile. Toto is one of those rare characters who's an absolute a**hole but somehow still a total green flag at the same time. 😂 While the story doesn't have much depth and a lot of the scenes are pretty predictable, it's still an enjoyable watch if you're looking for something light and fun, especially if you're an avid TayNew fan.
And let's not forget MondRyu. I've loved them ever since That Summer. ❤️

Home is wherever TayNew are
One thing this drama got right was making the journey just as enjoyable as the destination. The story mixes adventure, comedy, and romance in a way that never feels too heavy, and I had fun following the characters as they kept finding themselves in unexpected situations. At the heart of it all, though, was the relationship between the leads. TayNew are my parents, and once again they reminded me why I'll never get tired of watching them together. Their chemistry is so effortless that even the simplest conversations feel special, and they bring so much warmth and comfort to their characters. I do think a few plotlines could have been explored a little more before wrapping everything up, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the ride. HALF-ASSED REVIEW FOR A HALF-ASSED SERIES ;)
Finally, forced myself to end this series. And the only thing I'm gonna say is it's a hot mess...idek what this series was supposed to be but it did turn out to be a huge disappointment and a waste of the whole budget (that surely was 10$). Never thought any series could ever out-trash Revamp but this series debunked that thought.It tried to be a comedy, horribly failed at that, every joke fell flat, the humour was questionable but hopefully someone found it funny (becuz I definitely did not).
It tried to be a Romance series, Half-assed this genre too...Don't even start with me about the 2nd lead, Cuz they contributed nothing to the whole series. I absolutely loved MondRyu in That Summer but this series did not do them any justice.
TBH this series did not do any justice to TayNew too. It literally failed at Everything!
In Short, YES IT SUCKED BAD :)

A Dog And A Plane is chaotic, silly , unhinged ,heartfelt and TayNew make it all work. Newwiee makes Kanit’s emotions so real, the hesitation before he speaks, the disappointment he tries to hide,the way his face falls,the joy on his face when he thinks of Lion or even the annoyance yet intrigue he shows towards Toto, his face say everything before a dialogue does. Tay Tawan as Toto doesn’t feel like a performance at all.He is so natural that everything he does feels like he exists. A character that could have been so over-the-top instead feels very alive , grounded and surprisingly warm.
I am pleasantly surprised. 18months was worth the wait because, if this is how things are starting, I can’t even imagine what’s coming next. I absolutely cannot wait.

You will laugh so hard and still feel romantic
My comfort show of this year. Funny (you will laugh so much), spicy (is an adult love story and Toto and Kanit are bold and sassy and love to tease each other), romantic (they are so sweet too), great story, great director, great editing, great music (that express the feeling of the moment), incredible actors! Tay Tawan and New Thitipoom nailed it! If you wanna watch something that is really entertaining and make you feel warm but still let you ROFL, ADAAP is what you need!Was this review helpful to you?

I need more
While this was airing I never actually got the motivation to watch it. I'm not sure why but I kept on delaying it. Anyways, after watching it I regret not watching it while it's airing. This was extremely funny and just super cute. It wasn't that angsty which I also appreciated given that I wasn't really in the mood for angst. And uhh my biggest motivation may have been Tui... perhaps. Anyways, I enjoyed it extremely much and I really hope this will get an extra part.So if I'm honest, I'm not familiar with TayNew at all. They're one of the only gmmtv pairs (aside from the new pairs) that I am not updated about. Like yes, I watched all of their series but I never really felt the need to know more about them. This series made me change my opinion on that and I just love their visuals together. They actually looked perfect for this series and I'm afraid I became obsessed with Tay.
I remember being confused when watching this on the actors part. I am a huge fan of Lykn, even before their debut and they're my main group but my stupid ass thought this was the series that Hong and Nut played in. When I saw Tui I was like freaking out because he is my bias and I just love him so much. I then found out I got confused between a dog and a plane and Twenty One. Anyways, I am really glad the other members of Lykn are also in series so they have more opportunities. I really enjoyed Tui's acting and he reminded me of JJ and AJ Chayakorn with the third wheeling. This is my first drama ever seeing MondRye as a pair!! I really like them and I am already quite familiar with Mond Tanutchai but not with Ryu Phudtripart. Their acting was amazing and they beter get a main series!! Actually, I saw Ryu as New Year in Ossan's love story and I think it's clear in my review that I love Ossans love story.
The ost's are soooo cute and I love them!! I didn't really like Fly with me free my heart at first but it lowkey became my favourite song. I also really enjoyed Rescue You (กู้ภัยกู้ใจ) and No Reason (รักไม่มีเหตุผล). Also the way they added songs from like Ossan's love Thailand and other iconic songs is amazing. But I am specifically just rlly happy about the songs from Ossan's love because out of all Gmmtv songs they're my favs. And this is also a nice opportunity to give Tui another solo which he really deserved!!
I'm desperate for a new our sky and I need this to have like a special episode. More because the story ended a bit tooo open. And I'm honestly just really curious how their future looks like because in my opinion the last episode kinda lacked aside from them being married yk? Like I remember them mentioning wanting to adopt or get a child later. I still think the ending is good when you compare it to other drama's.
I don't get why the dad would not agree Toto because of his job. Toto's work is medical right? That's what a lot of parents really like. It just made no sense to me. Sure it was a medical team for the airport but still. Also, why did Kanit not tell the truth of his ex boyfriend indeed being a pilot?? This part just got me confused.
Overall, this was really funny and cute. Maybe the ending was a bit to rushed and I would love to see like a special episode, but I doubt we'll get that lol. The humour in here is amazing and the main reason of my high review. It's just too funny and not cringy. The first episode just starts of with the weirdest shit ever but it gets super original. I have laughed so much. Some parts in the series made me a bit confused but the acting and story is over all amazing. I know a lot of people criticised A dog and a plane but I loved it!!

A LIFE REALITY TURNED INTO COMEDY
behind the comedy of this show is the reality in love life nowadays, for the reason we dont know , we now have to think about stability when we date; we think about how will we able to support who we date and take care of them with the money and resources we have, it is now pressuring to date someone because both of your future is already handed on our shoulders ! if no resources and not stable, sad we better not date than to be a burdensome.Inspite of that reality, this show reminds us that it above all of these things that needs to be considered in meeting someone and having someone in your life doesnt mean we stop loving; and to love means to fight for your love even when you have to start a business, even when you have to prove yourself, because sometimes when we are in those kind of situations, even when we do not like it; we have to prove ourselves in order to prove our love! And those things became more colorful with my Ultimate Bias TayNew; this guys have this unexplainable bubbly bond that even whatever genre they've put together, its was always like so so good together; justice was served althroughout this show with TayNew; proving no money no title can go against true love ♥
Some people were not pleased with this drama, and that is okay, but for me; in the situation of my life, this is all I've needed; the comedy was not too much, the Love scenes were wild but light in the heart; specially when To and Kanit role plays and the way the whisper talks ! You people will never understand why TayNew is my happy pill forever !
The Flow of the story is right on track all the way, The Second leads were just okay coz I did not pay too much attention to them coz To and Kanit is enough for me, but it was okay. I just wonder why of all the the days of their lives, emergency still happened on their wedding ceremony , but I realize as what they talked about at the end is that's what life is; we do not know when will emergency come that's why we always choose to be happy.
If I am to recommend something to make this show improve is that, I really hoped that the second lead's story were written better; it was just a bit awkward for me for the reason I don't know .. I am sorry that I cannot feel and see the chemistry of do they have that ? The Acting of TayNew it is already given ! bubbly mature roles , and can I commend Tawan because at some scenes, he looked like Karan and then turned into Toto again ! he is really a good actor ! I've noticed few awkward gestures to him anymore unlike before ! and of course Newwie .. He is a combination of Baby and Princess HAHAH
This drama will be added to my re watch lists one day and I'm gonna go back here! Thank you for reading and thank you for making this show ! 11/10 for me ♥
