Honest Opinion

There's actually no doubt when it comes to K-Dramas. Most of them end up really good no matter what. Imagine IU and BWS in one frame?? Who would want to miss that? And that pairing is just arghhh... Nyx is melting.
There’s no question either when it comes to acting and production. Korean directors rarely settle for less when it comes to cinematography, emotions, and execution.
Story-wise, it actually feels refreshing. The issues and conflicts are valid and interesting, but I think they weren’t explored deeply enough. The drama introduces a lot of emotional and personal conflicts, yet sometimes it feels like they move past them too quickly because they also wanted to maintain the romcom vibe. Which honestly, I’m not complaining about because the balance still made the series enjoyable and easy to watch.
Maybe that’s the best way to explain it, the show feels emotionally rich, but not emotionally heavy. It touches serious topics without fully drowning the audience in them, and instead chooses to keep the warmth, comfort, and chemistry at the center of everything.

Honest opinion

If I'm gonna tell myself that this is purely fictional, then I might actually like it a lot. It’s funny, cute, romantic, and comforting in many ways. However, even if it’s fiction, I still see the story as somehow realistic. The life they’re trying to show, along with the lessons and virtues they want to convey, are things that genuinely happen in real life.
The act of taking things slowly, trying to understand people, and not being afraid to ask for help when you need it — those are all beautiful messages.
What I personally struggled with was how they approached Sun’s trauma and condition, which seems heavily inspired by DID and age regression. If someone you deeply love experienced something like that in real life, wouldn’t you continuously seek proper professional help until you reached a clearer understanding of what was happening? Going to the hospital once or twice doesn’t really feel enough. Handling it mostly by yourselves, testing hypotheses with friends, and relying on trial and error felt unrealistic for such a serious condition.
I think that’s why it threw me off. The conflict itself felt realistic, but the way they dealt with it felt unrealistic just to keep the romcom vibe. I’m not really sure if that came from the novel itself or just from the series adaptation.
On the lighter note, no questions when it comes to PerthSanta’s dedication, chemistry, and performance. They really carried the emotional side of the story beautifully.
Also, after reading reviews, I noticed that most people genuinely loved this series. So maybe this is just me being honest about how I personally experienced it. It’s probably just not my cup of tea… and maybe I’m also just not naturally fond of children in real life.

Chaotic in it's own pace

The most common comment I see while watching OFDO is that everyone’s looking for the chaotic “mix and match” vibe from S1. And yes, a lot of them ended up disappointed because OFDO decided to take a different path this season. At first, that was my reaction too. Like, what do you mean it’s already Episode 5 and Boston still hasn’t kissed anyone yet? 😭
But the longer I stayed with this series, the more I realized that the chaos they wanted to show isn’t the same kind of chaos from S1. It has its own identity, and honestly, it works well on its own.
If you ask me, my favorite parts are Dean and Raffy’s constant “puksaan,” the cameos from the original S1 cast, and the bittersweet relationship of JackDean.
Another thing I really love is the filming locations, especially the apartments of the characters. You can actually see their personalities through the way their spaces are designed. And I know some of you noticed those photo-style scene transitions too, that was such a cool touch.
But yeah, if you’re expecting the same kind of chaos as S1… you’re probably in the wrong room.

New, Cute... but...

I didn't read the synopsis before deciding to watch this, so I was surprised to find out that it was a fantasy series. That didn't bother me at all, though—I love all kinds of genres.

The story they wanted to tell is there, and it's good. It also feels fresh and different. The couples have great chemistry, including their younger versions.

However, I found some episodes a bit boring. I can't quite put my finger on it, but some scenarios felt repetitive. Thankfully, the series kept introducing twist after twist, which made me stay invested and eager to find out what would happen next.

I just wish they had given more focus to the Girl in Black, Hong, and the White Guy toward the end. It was clear that they played very important roles in the overall twists, and I would have loved to learn more about them.

Overall, it's still a good watch and one I'd recommend.

Honest Opinion

This is the kind of slow burn I’ve been looking for. The plot feels fresh and different. It’s not perfect, but knowing it was made on a small budget makes it easier to appreciate what it achieved.
At first, I kept complaining to my friends that the series was introducing conflicts it couldn’t fully sustain. But with a possible Season 2, I’m hoping it gets the chance to really deliver on those ideas.
And the chemistry between the two actors? Absolutely through the roof. Especially if you follow them on social media. It may be a slow burn in the series, but in real life, you definitely won’t be left starving.

Heaviest series I watched

One series that proves the number of episodes doesn't matter. Imagine telling such a powerful story in just six episodes. So many emotions were shaken, and every episode left a lasting impact.

I think everyone had been looking forward to this series ever since the teaser was released two years ago. My first impression back then was, "They're really brave for tackling the Catholic faith." I knew it was going to be controversial.

Let's start with the acting. No question about it. GemFourth absolutely nailed their roles. The cinematography? Equally impressive. Every frame felt intentional and beautifully executed.

What surprised me the most was that I rarely felt the usual "kilig" while watching. Instead, there was always a heaviness sitting in my heart. I felt so much pain for Tanrak because you could feel the weight he was carrying. The guilt, the fear, the confusion. Watching him question his faith was heartbreaking because that's one of the heaviest things that can happen to someone who has devoted his life to it. He wasn't just struggling with love. He was questioning everything he had believed in.

Episode 5 was probably my favorite. I was completely silent the entire time. For me, it was the heaviest episode of the series, and every scene hit exactly where it was supposed to.

And then the ending gave the answer I had been waiting for. No one can question another person's love. You can still love God while loving someone wholeheartedly. Those two things don't have to cancel each other out.

What I appreciate the most about Ticket to Heaven is that it never tried to paint the Catholic faith as the villain. Instead, it presented both sides with respect and compassion. It encourages understanding rather than judgment, and I genuinely hope more people watch it with an open mind.

This is one of those series that will stay with me for a long time. It definitely left a mark.

Honest Opinion

This started strong, but because of how slow burn it is, I kind of lost interest again. It’s not that I’m not into slow burns. I actually like them. I’m just getting tired of the same cliché formula.
And why do JBLs always have the leads confess like two minutes before the series ends?
On a lighter note, you might still want to give this a chance. Maybe it’s just me who didn’t enjoy it as much.
Also, I really didn’t like how they brushed off the issue between Akira and his tutor. That was clearly grooming 😑😑😑

No depth

TutorYim have excellent chemistry, and I've liked them as a pairing ever since Cutie Pie. I really think they deserve a series with a stronger storyline. Thankfully, their upcoming DMD projects already look much more interesting.

As for ChermChey, the story itself isn't something that completely pulls you in. It's mostly about In and Erng's domestic relationship, which is cute and heartwarming, though I found some moments a bit cringe. The cameos were fun and definitely added excitement, but they felt more like fan service than something that pushed the story forward.

I guess my expectations were just higher because ChermChey is set in the same circle as AiNhai and TonChon, both of which I genuinely enjoyed. In the end, it's a light and comforting watch, but I was hoping for a story with a little more depth.

Honestly...

This was the first time I saw Boss play such a hopeless simp, and I'll be honest, I'm not really used to it. In my eyes, he'll always be P'Phayu. 😂

I'll be honest again, though... a lot of the scenes felt pretty cringe. I kept defending it by telling myself that maybe they intentionally wanted it to be that way. The story was very simple and didn't have much depth.

That said, I did enjoy the cast since most of them were new to me. My only issue was that the other three couples didn't get proper closure. I really wish they had been given satisfying endings too.

Honestly, I don't have much else to say. I finished the series because I love BN.

I just need one night, to show you I'm the right guy

Starting, of course, with "I just need one night, to tell you I'm the right guy. 🎶" I think everyone will agree that their performances at Moonlit Bar were absolutely lit! Seeing their behind-the-scenes practice clips made it even more impressive. They were definitely not playing around with those dance performances. Even the action scenes were executed really well. Kudos to the entire cast!

Back to the story, the plot was very interesting. A police officer and a host. They delivered it well, though I'll admit there were still some missed opportunities. But the chemistry and visuals of UpPoom were never in question.

I really loved the ending. That low-key marriage? Heart, heart! ❤️

And of course, the true show-stealer... our baby Singto!! Love that kid. 🥹

Daddy Issues

Starting with this: Fluke Pusit is so handsome. Hahaha. I also loved Nuea's sassiness.
Honestly, if we're going based on the title, it sounds pretty cringe. Because of it, I was expecting a super rich man who constantly spoils his lover. But there was none of that. He just wanted to be called "Daddy." I think the real daddy here is the villain uncle because all his kids have daddy issues... plus the secret child plot twist. 🤣🤣
I actually loved the first two episodes of this series. Then, as usual, my interest started to drift away. The story didn't feel solid. I couldn't tell if it wanted to focus on character development, the business storyline, or the romance. A lot of plots were introduced, but almost all of them were wrapped up in an unsatisfying way. For example, what happened to Saithan's relationship with his mother? And what happened to Manmeung?
I don't mind having a GL side couple, but at this point, I honestly didn't know who the main couple was anymore. The girls took up so much screen time, especially in the finale. Ironically, I was more invested in the kids because they portrayed the confusion of discovering their feelings in a very realistic way.
Fluke and Nuea had good chemistry, and their acting was decent. I just hope they get a much stronger story next time.

Cute series

Another series that I haven't read the novel yet, so the story really excited me. I didn't expect most of what happened. I also have a bit of a bias since this is part of the Fourever You Project. Hehe.

First, I wish we got to see more of Mafia Tiger. I really wanted that aspect to be highlighted more. The pacing somehow felt both slow and fast at the same time. Maybe 8 episodes just isn't enough to fully cover an FY novel. The acting still has room for improvement, but the casting was great. Plus points for finding an actor to play Nuea who could actually pass as Golf/Nao's twin brother.

Overall, this is still a cute series, and I'd definitely recommend giving it a watch.

Simple but i like the pacing

Didn't read the manga, so this review is based purely on the series.

It may look like your typical enemies-to-lovers trope because it is. But I think what made me enjoy it was the pacing. Everything moved at just the right speed without feeling dragged out. We got to see the root of their rivalry, how they slowly started liking each other, their relationship, the usual conflicts that come with dating, and, of course, a happy ending.

If you really analyze it, there's nothing that makes you go, "Wow." But you know what? I still liked it. 😂 I enjoyed the jealousy scenes and even the misunderstandings. Just a simple series to season my week.

Ruined momentum

Discovering this series and hearing Boy Sompob's voice right from the start felt magical. I really liked how it began. It gave us that fluffy, green-flag top that was impossible to resist. And can we talk about the cast? The main couple, the second couple... honestly, everyone was handsome!

However, somewhere in the middle, NC scenes started becoming a major part of the series. Again, I don't hate NC scenes, but I feel they should happen at the right timing. As for the plot, the blackmailing, kidnapping, and all that, it just felt a little off for me. I'm sorry. The characters also didn't seem to have much development. Until the very end, they kept dragging themselves around with the same toxic traits. Lol.

Last but not least, that dance they were practicing. I swear they were practicing the same dance throughout the entire series. 😂

Hmmmm. Kind of expecting a lot.

Flower Boy has a very interesting premise. A fantasy series centered around a person's scent being literally out of this world? That's unique. And honestly, them naming Pearl's character "Scent", that was cute.

That said, I can't shake the feeling that this project was rushed. Since Love in the Moonlight was such a success, I assume they wanted to ride that hype. Unfortunately, because of that, I couldn't stop comparing the two. LITM set the bar high and became one of my favorite series, so I kept asking myself: what happened here?

The story already had a solid foundation. They even cast a great actor for Obey. He could have delivered an iconic sassy, toxic ex-type character, but instead they made him sassy yet surprisingly kind. Not that it's bad, but it felt like they didn't fully utilize his potential. There were also quite a few plot holes throughout the series.

Even the climax didn't excite me. I can't exactly pinpoint whether it's the script, pacing, or execution, but the buildup of the romance felt lacking. Because of that, the angst didn't hit me as hard as it should have.

And the ads... please. The product placements were so obvious and distracting that they kept pulling me out of the story.

As for the ending, it didn't really make sense to me. It's not even an open ending. It's just confusing. Maybe there's an explanation I'm missing, but it left me with more questions than emotions.

Sorry if this review sounds harsh. I don't mean to be a b*tch about it. I'm just genuinely disappointed because I can see the potential this series had.

In the end, the thing that truly saved the show for me was PearlPeak's chemistry. They worked with what they were given, and you can tell both actors are incredibly promising. I really hope they get another series together someday because they deserve a project that lets them fully shine.
