Wu

อู ‧ Drama ‧ 2026
Since I am making this reccomendation before either series release, the reason for my choice is that the trailers gave me very similar vibes.

Wu has the qualities of a well made action/semi-fantasy bromance series in which the main characters will have to work together to unravel a larger mystery. Happy Ending stars brilliant actors in a plot where a detective and a criminal (of sorts) come to life from a novel, and encompasses themes of horror/thriller in an inncredible way, mixing into mystery. I'll update this as the series offically release, but I feel like any watcher of one would enjoy watching the other.

In both series unlikely people get together to solve supernatural cases and undercover their family secrets, all having to do with worst demon of all. Top bromances out there, the two male duos have great chemistry and develope a deep bond. They are both filled with folklore, mystery and action.

Both pairs carry absolutely peak bromance energy—the same duo effortlessly dominating both series. And honestly, the visuals? They’re both genuinely fine ?

Both are dark fantasy dramas with a focus on telling a supernatural story.
No romance but heavy character depth. Cinematography and CGI are superb in both.

Lastly both are very short GMMTV dramas that leave you wanting more.

Wu is about trying to overcome or destroy the demon Yao and set Niran free as it usually possesses him. Khemjira is about trying to destroy Rampueng ) a ghost that wants to kill Khemjira) and set Khemjira free.
They are both about supernatural creatures destroying people’s lives.
And they are both about exorcising demons that possess people. If someone liked Khemjira then they will like WU and vice versa, if someone likes WU then they will like Khemjira.
On top of that they both give horror vibes.

Both Wu and Peaceful Property are bromance-focused dramas with supernatural storylines. Both dramas follow two unlikely partners who start off clashing but slowly grow really close and end up becoming emotionally dependent on each other. Both series balance comedy, fun banter, and emotional moments instead of being completely dark or horror-focused.

I think the only similarity between these series is that they have to be together to do something. I don't know if I'm wrong or not, but by being together, they somehow complete each other.
(I hope you get my pov T^T)

~Another thing I think that in both series, FATE has made them meet each other
