Ticket to Heaven Episode 4 Reactions
What impressed me most was how Episode 4 didn't rely on dramatic twists just to make viewers cry. Instead, it showed the quiet struggles, internal conflicts, and impossible choices that many people face in real life. It was heartbreaking, thought-provoking, and deeply moving. This episode reminded us that everyone deserves understanding, compassion, and the freedom to be themselves without fear or judgment

this has zoomed by, i am already a sec from the end... this has been a bitter sweet "ride", young love in this setting is heartbreaking & yet heartwarming cause there is always hope... & Tanrak is correct, when he is with Barth he forgets the world; about his obligations & promises, let alone the path he has chosen & the end goal. but on one hand he was too young & impressionable to make life choices as a child & Father Arnon while well-meaning gave Tanrak the wrong advise. who knows where his parents r? & no matter where they r, wouldn't they want their child to live a good life? & not chose a life of solitude & deprivation just to be deserving of heaven???? idk but i guess can't expect any other advise from a priest. ************************whatever Tanrak is feeling it's not temptation, it's the realization that there is more to life, that he has more options & more choices & choosing to live a normal life with someone he loves, doesn't make him a bad person unworthy of heaven. as long as he is a good human, he has a place & a chance to meet his parents in heaven. ****************************************************** but will he understand this before it's too late?!? given the fact that everyone around him (in that convent) is pushing him towards only one goal, realizing he might be wavering they keep gaslighting him into remembering his initial promise /goal. would be hard to for anyone to ignore all this pressure & do their own thing & Tanrak is still a kid. not to mention that Father Arnon & Master Phak, along with all the other teachers in that convent r his only family. so i get his back & forth - ***************btw i don't blame him for being so blinded by his new love that he doesn't realize he has totally neglected his bff Kongdech & that's why Kongdech is angry. but that's what happens with some - when they r in-love or in a relationship they forget about their friends & their whole world revolves around that one person they love. maybe Tanrak will realize he is in the wrong & owes Kongdech an apology for abandoning him & their friendship. time will tell -

This is my favorite episode of all. As their love grows so does the conflict of their emotions. My favorite scene is when Joe played by Sea was talking about the seminary. It’s not loving one but loving many. My cousin taught me about his own experience as a Priest, it’s sacrificing your own self which allows you to love your flock. He was in conflict until he chose to give his love to others. As he said, many are called but few are chosen. The episode delve deeper in building their relationship, finally telling the story behind Barry’s anger towards God. The episode is reach the peak of the storyline and here comes the downturn. I noticed Tanrak was wearing a Rosary around his neck, For correctness a Rosary is not a necklace. Like prayer beads from Buddhist monks, a rosary is held during prayers.

This episode is so cute and sweet. We got to see a lot of lovely moments between Barth and Tanrak and how their journey for love continues to bloom. There was also the revelation of how Barth began to not believe in God because of how his family came to be. It was such an irony how his dad is a believer of God but treats his family poorly. Barth's past was so painful to watch TT

Episode 4 was beautifully balanced from beginning to end. It gave us some of the sweetest and most heartwarming moments between the leads while also delivering one of the biggest emotional twists so far.Watching Tanrak and Barth fall in love was such a joy. Their relationship continues to develop so naturally, and every interaction feels genuine. GeminiFourth portray young love with so much warmth, tenderness, and sincerity that it's impossible not to root for them. Their chemistry is effortless, and they make even the quietest moments feel meaningful.

I know many are disappointed that they didn't get any drama in this episode, but you need to know that an episode full of smiles is very much needed even in an angst series. We were really depressed watching Barth and Tanrak suffer in episodes 1-3, and I think that's enough. I was so happy to see BarthTanrak having fun throughout episode 4, it's so rare for them to enjoy some time together without anyone else knowing. We also have several guests, Keen and Sea. And we also finally know Barth's past which makes everyone touched. For episode 4, this is more than enough. I can't wait for episode 5 😫

This episode moved me. It moved me so much that I had to write a review for it. The flowers, the weighted discussions, the honesty, the youth. Gemini and Fourth really made this character's bloom, grow, and shine. We are nearing the end and I don't want it to stop.

Ticket to Heaven EP4 absolutely broke my heart. What makes this episode so powerful isn't the big dramatic moments—it's the quiet pain. After finally opening up to his feelings, Tanrak is forced to confront the reality of what those feelings mean within the world he's grown up in. The conflict between faith, family, community, and love feels heavier than ever, and you can see the weight of it crushing him little by little.Fourth's performance in this episode is phenomenal. He barely needs words to communicate what Tanrak is going through. The fear, confusion, guilt, longing, and helplessness are all visible in his eyes. There were several scenes where you could feel his emotions before he even spoke, and that's what makes the character so compelling.Barth also shines in EP4. While Tanrak is trapped in his own battle, Barth becomes the emotional anchor of the story. His patience, sincerity, and unwavering care for Tanrak make every interaction between them feel incredibly genuine. He isn't trying to change Tanrak—he just wants Tanrak to be honest with himself. What I love most about this episode is how it refuses to take shortcuts. It doesn't treat the central conflict as something that can be solved with a single conversation. Instead, it shows how complicated it is when love collides with deeply rooted beliefs and expectations. The series handles these themes with sensitivity and nuance, making the characters feel real rather than symbolic. The waterfall scenes were especially beautiful. The cinematography captures both the freedom and sadness of the moment, creating a striking contrast between the beauty of nature and the emotional turmoil the characters are experiencing. Every frame feels intentional, and the soundtrack only makes the emotions hit harder.EP4 left me with a heavy heart. It wasn't an episode about answers—it was an episode about pain, uncertainty, and the difficult journey toward self-acceptance. By the end, I wasn't just rooting for Tanrak and Barth as a couple; I was rooting for them to find peace, no matter how difficult the path ahead becomes.A heartbreaking but beautifully crafted episode. 10/10.

Episode 4 was incredibly engaging and emotionally heavy. It made me feel for the characters because their struggles and emotions felt genuine and relatable. The quiet moments hit the hardest, and the chemistry between the leads kept me invested in every scene. By the end of the episode, I was left both heartbroken and eager to see what happens next. What stood out to me:The emotions felt raw and authentic. The chemistry between the leads was natural and heartfelt. The pacing allowed important moments to breathe. The episode balanced tenderness, tension, and emotional pain beautifully.Overall, Episode 4 is the kind of episode that stays with you after it ends, making you reflect on the characters' choices and eagerly await the next chapter.

I was not expecting Barth's life to be this heartbreaking. When he explained what happened to his parents in Episode 4,
it completely changed the way I saw his character.
No wonder Barth is so quiet, guarded, and distant. Some wounds are too deep for words. He grew up watching his mother suffer at the hands of his father. While other children grew up surrounded by love and warmth, Barth grew up witnessing violence, fear, and pain.
The person who should have taught him what love looked like instead showed him cruelty. Then came the night that changed everything. His homophobic father discovered that he was gay and turned his hatred toward his own son. Faced with the impossible choice between protecting her child or remaining silent, Barth's mother chose her son.She struck her husband to save Barth. But years of fear, anger, and suffering had built up inside her. It wasn't just one blow. It was the release of years of pain, years of abuse, years of helplessness. In a single night,
Barth lost both of his parents. His father died. His mother went to prison. No child should ever have to witness something like that.As if fate hadn't been cruel enough, Barth returned to a world that offered him little comfort. He was bullied by his classmates simply for being gay. Everywhere he turned, he was met with judgment, rejection, and loneliness.
That is why Tanrak means so much to him.Tanrak isn't just someone he likes.Tanrak is the light at the end of a very long tunnel. When Barth said that without Tanrak he would be lonely, those words carried far more weight than people realize. They weren't simply words of affection. They came from someone who had lost everything. After losing both parents, Tanrak became the one person who stayed by his side. The one person who made the darkness feel a little less overwhelming. The one person who reminded him that he deserved love. That is what makes the waterfall scene so beautiful. The waterfall itself feels symbolic.
For years, Barth carried pain, grief, and loneliness in silence. Yet beneath the rushing water, surrounded by nature's beauty, it was as if all that weight finally began to wash away. The scenery was breathtaking, but what made the scene unforgettable was the emotion behind it.For one brief moment, Barth wasn't the boy haunted by his past. He wasn't the child who lost both parents. He wasn't the victim of bullying or rejection. He was simply someone being loved. The kiss beneath the waterfall felt like more than a romantic moment. It felt like healing. Like hope. Like a promise that despite everything he had endured, happiness was still possible.
After years of storms, Barth finally found a place where he could rest. And standing beside him was Tanrak, the light that guided him out of the darkness.
Sorry for the long post. I love writing and poetry, so once I start analyzing characters and scenes, I can go on and on. But Episode 4 really touched me.

Spoilers ahead. There were so many beautiful moments and references in this episode! The green light on Tan's face representing growth; Tan and Barth sitting on the stage and turning their backs on Jesus (literally); Barth giving Tan daisies which symbolise purity and new beginnings; their fingers touching like The Creation of Adam - God gives Adam life in the same way that Barth gives Tanrak life, their baptism in the waterfall acting as a rebirth for them both - after so much heartache, they've finally found a home in each other; and finally the red apple - they are in their own Garden of Eden, secluded from the horrors of the world, and partaking in the ultimate symbol of giving in to temptation. I thought Barth's story was so powerful and gave us this episode's Deadly Sin - wrath. The irony of a man of God spending his life beating his defenceless wife, and berating and pummeling his teenage son for "embarrassing him in front of God" for simply being gay will not be lost on anyone. Also the punishment that Barth's mum received for protecting her son after suffering years of physical abuse clearly highlighted the injustice so prevalent in our male-centric society - a society, in part, founded on the beliefs espoused in the Bible. Just some of the many reasons why this show is so so important. This episode also showed Tan expressing his first real doubts about joining the priesthood. I thought Joe's comments about how hard the seminary was were really impactful and, as someone who Tan looks up to, his words held a lot of weight. When he said Tan should "listen to" and "follow his heart", it was such a powerful anti- religious statement. And finally, the lyrics of Heavenly summed everything up so perfectly:"If heaven exists, how beautiful could it be? I'm not even sure I still want it...If heaven doesn't have you, then I don't want to go there."This show is a masterpiece.

This was soooo beautiful. The visuals, the story, their moments together, THE ACTING!!! I can't. I don't think I'll survive the last 2 eps. The preview is scaring me. I would like to think that this is the end, that's it, they lived happily ever after.

GEMINIFOURTH ARE SUCH AWESOME ACTORS.Barth's past was so painfully portrayed and we understand why he's the way he is. Why he lost all his faith in god. Such an emotional scene and P'Aof using his original scar as reference is just wow. The bloody bible and a candle stand being used to kill his father. Just wow. No words. A cute start and hopeful end to this episode

It's a calling, a different kind of love. It cannot be forced. If your heart wavers, take your time, listen and follow your heart.

Episode 4 was also so perfect - it captures the joy and beauty of young love so perfectly. I feel like because this is Tanrak's first time experiencing such feelings, he's really letting himself follow his heart and letting himself be happy and choosing not to face the heavy thoughts yet (we've all been there). His happiness really shines through here and it's just so so precious. Fourth really did this character so much justice, his eyes and expressions alone can carry the essence and the pureness of Tanrak's character. And this is contrasted so well with Barth who is so firm in his disillusionment of religion - again Gemini really embodied this so so well in his acting.
I felt like this episode was very very nuanced which is a testament to p'Aof's skill as a director. The entire episode felt much lighter, almost like a breath of fresh air after the last 2 very heavy and emotionally intense episodes. While things were happier and more upbeat, there is still this lingering sensation of dread and anxiety and trepidation throughout. And it's so subtle but it's there - small moments in the character's facial expressions, certain things they say, certain music choices. Urgh, just so good, everything is just really 10/10 across the board!!

This episode gave me all the feelings that I probably shouldn't have this early. I cried almost through out all of the scenes. Their happy moments felt so fragile and bittersweet because we knew that the storm will come and hit them full force. We also now got the full story of how Barth turned the way he is now and damn... can we blame him??
Some parts might be felt like cut abruptly..but I think it's also because the chemistry energy that both the actors showed just too good so when it was cut, it felt a bit hollow...it's only because we WANT MORE of that!
Anyway, still kudos to all the crews, the actors, and the director! Can't wait for the next episode eventho I felt like I'm not ready too...

Aftermath of ep3 in which they gave in to their desires. The guilt is back. Tanrak tries to supress his feelings for Barth so that it does not go too far like last time. At the same time it's evident how hard they've fallen for each other. The flower scene is peak romance, it will make you feel that you have fallen too. We get Barth's backstory which will hurt you. Barth hearing tanrak say that he'll choose god will also hurt you. In the midst of all this, Barth is still so soft to Tanrak and the entire scene when they are in waterfall is beautiful. They look so in love, it scares you for them
