Five Stars

If I had to choose the most intense episode, it would definitely be Episode 5. I felt like I was holding my breath almost the entire time. The emotional tension was overwhelming from beginning to end. Even the sweet, intimate moments were so natural and beautifully portrayed that I found myself replaying them over and over. They made me smile, blush, and at the same time fear what was coming next. It was an incredible episode.

devastatingly beautiful (contains spoiler)

This episode had all the angst and it made me sob so much at so many instances. One thing I love is how they've portrayed tanrak's inner turmoil and how he was afraid of people around him more than god himself. He accepts who he is and wants to keep his faith and love but the religious institutions don't let him. The scenes throughout the ep were some of the most impactful and beautiful scenes in this series. Tanrak burning the notes, barth calling his mother, barthtanrak fighting, kongdech confronting tanrak, tanrak confessing to Father and finally the last scene in front of the m grotto concluding the episode. It was all so beautiful.

IT'S so painful (spoiler ahead)

I was crying the whole episode. I had to pause so many times just to catch my breath.I was physically and mentally unwell while watching this episode. Gosh they are suffering so much .I can never be happy while watching series. And when they were in old storage room and father entered I paused it and had to collect myself. But It's the best series.

Five Stars

Episode 4 of Ticket to Heaven took the story to another level. The emotional depth kept growing with every scene, and you could truly feel the weight each character was carrying. Instead of rushing the story, the episode gave every moment room to breathe, allowing viewers to fully connect with the characters' emotions, fears, and inner struggles. What stood out the most was how realistic everything felt. The conversations, the silence, the expressions, and even the smallest gestures carried so much meaning. The series continues to handle difficult topics with care, compassion, and honesty, making it impossible not to empathize with every character, even when they make painful decisions.

Barth is fearless, even adults that don't…

Barth is fearless, even adults that don't have an income or a way to support themselves wont leave the hell they exist in - cause the unknown is so scary. but Barth not to give up on love is ready to take on the world & is offering Tanrak the assurance that he is there with him in thick & thin. giving him the push he needed not to give up on their love . bitter sweet & heartwarming - but this was a very emotionally charged ep - well most of them r. & even though i think there was a bit of gaslighting on Kongdech's part, he still had the right to have his say & tell Tanrak to his face that he betrayed & abandoned their friendship - which isn't a lie. one last ep to go & idk how the last ep is gonna go... was sure until now that Tanrak wouldn't be able to give up his life long mission to get into heaven via the priesthood. now given the ending of the ep idk - maybe Barth is strong enough to change Tanrak's heart.

This episode was intense

I actually wish that they left us on more of a cliff hanger at the end.
After such an intense episode it would have left my heart reeling all week long.
I absolutely cannot wait for the finale!!!

Guilt

When guilt exposes our true feelings, and exposes our actions. This episode is about managing situations as they spiral and goes beyond one’s control. When action speaks louder than words, then truth is exposed. Barth openly states he is gay but never did Tanrak. As Barth from the beginning lusted for Tanrak, while Tanrak in his need to find his parent’s love would react to any one of gives him his basic need. Is this truly love? Do we really know the meaning of love at a tender young age. Can we differentiate love from lust? Fourth’s acting truly shined as Tanrak creating the depth of emotions. No matter how this story ends, it will be happy depending on how you define your happiness. The Priest plays a significant albeit short role which reminds me of the book Les Miserable where the Priest too plays a pivotal role in the Jean Valjean’s transformation.

Love Should Never Be a Crime

I love this line from Episode 5.“Love is not wrong. God created humans with hearts and feelings.”Being gay can be so hard. You’re judged simply for loving someone, even though you’re not hurting anyone and your love takes nothing away from anyone else. With just one episode left until the finale, I hope we get a Season 2 where they can finally leave everything behind and live the life they truly deserve. A life where love is no longer something they have to hide, but something they can simply live.

Ticket to Heaven EP.5 feels like the strongest…

Ticket to Heaven EP.5 feels like the strongest episode so far. Everything just came together—the acting, writing, directing, cinematography, and emotions. Gemini and Fourth completely immersed me in Barth and Tanrak's story, and every scene felt heavy with love, fear, and heartbreak. It's the kind of episode that stays with you long after it ends. Easily one of the best episodes of the year for me.

IT'S BEAUTIFULLY PAINFUL TO WATCH

Just watch it because I'm still speechless😭😭😭Every scene feels like a daydream and nightmare at the same time, it all take a while before you could literally finished the whole episode. But even with this, GeminiFourth's performance delivery of their role BarthTanrak is beyond words to praise. They're just incredibly amazing.

The Quietest Scenes Carried the Loudest Emotions

Some episodes entertain you. Some episodes make you cry. Episode 5 did something even rarer—it stayed with me long after the credits rolled. What makes Ticket to Heaven so exceptional is its ability to say so much without saying anything at all. Some of the most unforgettable moments in this episode weren't the dramatic confrontations or emotional speeches. They were the lingering eye contact, the hesitant smiles, the moments of silence, and the painful realization that love can exist even when two people are slowly being pulled apart.Gemini and Fourth continue to amaze me with performances that feel incredibly honest and effortless. They don't simply act out emotions—they let you experience them. Every expression, every pause, every shaky breath feels authentic. Watching them is like witnessing two people genuinely carrying the weight of love, fear, hope, and heartbreak all at once. One thing I truly admire about this series is that it respects its audience. It doesn't rush emotional moments or manipulate viewers with unnecessary drama. Instead, it allows every conflict to develop naturally, making every scene feel meaningful and believable. The emotions never feel forced because the characters themselves feel like real people.Episode 5 also reminded me that sometimes the deepest pain doesn't come from losing someone. It comes from wanting to protect the person you love while knowing that your love itself has become the source of conflict. That emotional contradiction was portrayed so beautifully that it genuinely broke my heart. The directing deserves enormous praise. Every frame felt intentional. The camera lingered just long enough to let the emotions breathe, while the music quietly amplified every heartbreaking moment without overpowering the performances. It created an atmosphere that completely immersed me in the story.I also appreciate how every supporting character contributes to the narrative instead of existing merely as plot devices. Their perspectives make the conflicts more layered, reminding us that everyone is fighting their own internal battle. There are no one-dimensional characters here, only people trying to do what they believe is right.By the end of this episode, I wasn't just watching Tanrak and Barth anymore. I was rooting for two people who deserve the chance to love freely despite everything standing in their way.Episode 5 is another reminder that Ticket to Heaven isn't simply telling a love story. It's telling a deeply human story about faith, family, identity, sacrifice, and the courage it takes to choose love in a world that constantly challenges it.I laughed, I smiled, I cried, and by the end, I was left staring at the screen wishing the next episode was already here. This drama continues to be one of the most emotionally captivating series I've watched in a long time.

Episode 5: Love Was Never the Problem. Fear Was.

Absolutely, bestie!! 💔 Episode 5 was such an emotional roller coaster. Here's a heartfelt, long-form DramaList review that captures the love, pain, tension, and outstanding performances.# ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Episode 5: Love Was Never the Problem. Fear Was.Episode 5 completely shattered my heart, and I mean that in the best possible way. Every single episode somehow raises the bar even higher, and this one delivered an emotional masterpiece from beginning to end. What impressed me the most was how realistic everything felt. There were no exaggerated reactions or forced drama. Every glance, every silence, every hesitation, and every painful conversation carried so much weight. You could genuinely feel how deeply Tanrak and Barth love each other, yet you could also feel the overwhelming fear that stood between them. Sometimes love alone isn't enough when the world keeps telling you that your happiness is wrong.Gemini and Fourth continue to prove why they are among the strongest young actors of their generation. Their chemistry goes far beyond romantic scenes. It's in the tiny details. The way they look at each other, the subtle changes in their expressions, the trembling voices, and the quiet moments where they don't even need dialogue to communicate everything they are feeling. Their performances feel incredibly natural and sincere. This episode hurt because no one was truly the villain. Everyone was simply trying to protect someone they loved while carrying their own fears, beliefs, and emotional scars. That complexity makes the story so much more powerful because real life is rarely black and white. The cinematography deserves special praise as well. The lighting, camera angles, and beautiful color palette perfectly matched the emotional atmosphere of every scene. Combined with the soundtrack, every heartbreaking moment hit even harder.I also appreciate that this series refuses to rely on cheap fan service. Instead, it builds its romance through trust, vulnerability, emotional intimacy, and meaningful conversations. That makes every hug, every touch, and every moment of affection feel earned and unforgettable.Episode 5 left me emotionally exhausted. It made me smile, made me anxious, and ultimately left my heart aching for these two. The writing continues to balance romance, family conflict, identity, faith, and personal growth with remarkable maturity. At this point, Ticket to Heaven has become so much more than a typical BL drama. It's a beautifully written story about love, acceptance, courage, and the painful choices people make when their hearts and beliefs collide.I honestly cannot wait for Episode 6, even though I already know it's probably going to hurt even more. This series continues to exceed every expectation I had.Thank you to the entire cast and production team for creating something this heartfelt, honest, and unforgettable. ❤️

Tanrak and Barth's rocky journey to love

This episode is so suffocatingly good. I couldn't catch my breath properly when I watched this ep. Tanrak's meltdown and Barth's frustration can be felt throughout the ep. Gemini and Fourth's acting are impressive as they captured the emotions and feelings of their characters so well.

Ticket to Heaven Ep 5

Episode 5 completely broke my heart. What stayed with me the most wasn't the dialogue—it was everything left unsaid. Fourth's performance felt incredibly natural; you could see Tanrak's inner conflict in every glance and moment of silence. It made his struggle feel real and deeply human. The chemistry between Gemini and Fourth continues to be the show's strongest asset. Their scenes don't rely on dramatic romance, yet every interaction carries so much emotion that you can't help but root for them. The direction and cinematography also deserve praise for creating such a quiet, intimate atmosphere that lets every emotion sink in.(Episode 5 made me feel more than it tried to impress me. It's beautifully restrained, emotionally honest, and leaves you thinking about the characters long after the episode ends)

love is never a sin

"If God teaches us to love, but we aren't allowed to love one another, then what is the point of God existing in this world?"As someone who grew up in the Church and is still Catholic to this day, I had to learn on my own that religion was built by humans and, because of that, it is bound to make mistakes.I also had to learn that a beautiful, sincere, and genuine love could never be considered a sin by God.For me, learning these things simply meant becoming a better person, someone who truly lives by what God actually teaches us: to love one another. But for Tan, it's so much more than that. He genuinely believes he's living in sin. I can't even begin to imagine the pain of believing that God would stop loving him just because he fell in love with another boy. That's why this story hurts so much. No one should ever have to grow up believing they have to choose between their faith and the ability to love. If God is love, then love should never be the reason someone feels unworthy of His love.

Heartbreaking

Spoilers ahead:This episode hurt. Tanrak's pain was hard to watch but we all knew this moment would come. Seeing Tan burn the notes, the flowers, and in the very place where their love story began - I don't mind admitting that I shed some tears. The Catholic guilt runs deep, but that's how they keep you in servitude. Guilt. Fear. Eternal damnation. The painting that shows the rocky road to heaven and the sinners burning on either side has been constantly shown throughout the series. At the start, Tan saw it as a sign of the righteous path that he was on. Then he fell in love with Barth and the painting became meaningless. Today, he stood in front of it in fear. Let's also take a moment to process the scene when Barth calls his home phone just to hear his mother's voice on an answer machine. The flashback to happy times; the empty house; the dying flowers. Heartbreaking. As for Kongdech and his comments to Tan about betraying him, and asking if he didn't want to want to be with his parents in heaven anymore - he made my blood boil. And while Father seemed understanding, he spouted the same nonsense: Where is this love leading you? You can always repent. Their rhetoric of blaming and shaming is so typical of religion and it's why it really has no place in a modern society where people can love whoever they choose to love. I'm so scared that the first scene in episode 1 with Barth going to the church in going to be him seeing Tan in his priestly robes. I want then to run away together and leave the ignorance behind them. I want them to have the joy of loving each other in a place that doesn't judge them. I want a happy ending.

Emotions were overflown

Every second is purely emotional. Tanrak confusion turned into heartbreak is the most emotional phase. I cried until the end. I can feel what Tanrak can feel. I can also feel what Barth felt. GeminiFourth.....the goats you both are. Acting levels peaked!!! I held by breath for every 15 minutes. Everything was intense, confusion, guilty, sacrifice, heartfelt.

Still Processing the Feelings

It's almost 15 hours after the episode's out and I'm still here feeling spent and hollowed out. It was such a roller-coaster ride. The way this series approached this kind of plot is stunning.
Tanrak is truly showing that he is a teenager in this episode that I was a bit uncomfortable facing it. At first, because of his way of handling and treating the people around him, he seemed an old soul and steady whereas other teenagers around him like Kongdech and Barth looked kind of teen-ish (if you know what I meant). Now, however, it showed that all of those are his camouflage.. This episode showed that Tanrak didn't truly know who himself is and what he really wants. When Barth and Kongdech showed their steadiness, Tanrak is still struggling to accept his feelings and wants.
All the characters showed their reactions to Barth and Tanrak's relationship and they left me with this puzzling feeling, like something is missing but I don't know what it is. It's funnily perfect for me, tho. I think because the theme is too delicate for the director slash the scriptwriters to make it as realistic as possible, they have to leave some leeway to emphasize that religious people is not as bad as most people thought for queer community but the characters still look battling with themselves.
I'm dreading the next episode because it will be the last I see BarthTanrak. I don't want to say goodbye to them. Again, a huge shoutout to the crew and actors behind every scenes!

Espetacular

Masterpiece

Probably the best episode so far, and easily one of the best, most profound, and emotionally devastating episodes I've seen in years of watching BLs. GeminiFourth's performances in EP5 were nothing short of extraordinary. They've been incredible from the very beginning, but this episode took their acting to a whole new level. The emotional depth, the subtlety, the chemistry... absolutely breathtaking. They deserve every award imaginable.
