Five Stars

From the moment the first pilot trailer for Ticket to Heaven was released, I knew I wanted only one ending for this story: a happy one. Queer love does not always have to end in loss. Sometimes, love deserves to win.For a long time, stories that explore queer identity alongside religion have leaned heavily into tragedy. We’re characters being forced to choose between faith and love, or sacrificing a part of themselves. Ticket to Heaven refuses that familiar path, and that’s exactly what makes it stand out. What makes the finale especially powerful is that it never frames God as the enemy of love. Instead, it suggests that faith and love can coexist. Tanrak’s journey is beautifully written—he learns that loving God does not mean denying himself, and loving someone does not mean abandoning his faith. The story never forces him into an either-or choice. Instead, it guides him toward authenticity, freedom, and emotional healing. His guilt over leaving and feeling like he betrayed God and those who raised him is handled with care, and his love for Barth is not portrayed as a replacement for faith, but as part of the life he was always meant to live.Barth’s story is also very meaningful. His pain—shaped by rejection, religious trauma, and years of believing his identity cost him everything—is portrayed with quiet honesty. Watching him slowly heal is one of the most emotionally grounded parts of the series. Through Tanrak, he begins to rebuild trust in God, not because his suffering disappears, but because he comes to understand that divine love is not limited by human prejudice. His healing feels gradual, believable, and deeply deserved. The ending matters because happy queer representation matters. While stories of suffering have their place, they should not be the only narratives we tell. Ticket to Heaven expands that space by offering something gentler and more hopeful: queer people deserve happiness, love, and faith without shame. This is not just a romance. It is a story about healing, forgiveness, spirituality, and choosing love over fear. It challenges the idea that queerness and faith must be in conflict, instead suggesting that they can strengthen one another. For me, Ticket to Heaven is more than just another BL series. It is a reminder that people do not always have to choose between God and themselves. Sometimes, love doesn’t just survive—it wins.

Perfect ending

This episode was a deeply rewarding finale. It resolved every emotional conflict with remarkable sensitivity, proving that Ticket to Heaven was never just about romance, but about the many forms of love that shape us. Love for another person, love for family, faith, friendship, forgiveness, and ultimately, self-acceptance. Fourth and Gemini gave their most mature performances, bringing the story to a heartfelt and emotionally fulfilling conclusion. A beautiful ending that stayed with me long after the credits rolled.

Watching Ticket to Heaven Episode 6 felt like witnessing the emotional payoff of everything the series had been building toward. Instead of rushing the story, the episode gave every important moment room to breathe, making each conversation and decision feel genuine and deeply earned. What impressed me most was how the series never reduced its conflict to a simple choice between faith and love. It allowed every character to wrestle with their beliefs, fears, and hopes in a way that felt authentic. The emotional tension remained strong until the very end, yet there was also a quiet sense of healing that made the episode incredibly satisfying.Fourth once again delivered a standout performance as Tanrak. His subtle expressions conveyed so much without needing many words, perfectly capturing someone learning to accept both himself and the people he loves. Gemini brought warmth, patience, and sincerity to Barth, making their chemistry feel natural and comforting. Together, they made every shared scene emotionally impactful.Director Aof Noppharnach deserves praise for balancing intimate storytelling with beautiful visual direction. The cinematography, music, and pacing elevated every emotional beat without becoming overly dramatic, allowing the story itself to shine.Episode 6 reminded me that love isn't about changing who you are, it's about finding the courage to embrace your truth. It was a heartfelt, thoughtful conclusion that stayed true to its message from beginning to end.⭐️ 10/10. A beautiful finale to a series that challenged, moved, and inspired me. Thank you to the entire cast and production team for telling such a meaningful story.#TicketToHeavenEP6 #TicketToHeaven #GeminiFourth

An utterly stunning series

Spoilers ahead. Episode 6 was so moving! I didn't mind at all that we didn't see them running away, it didn't need to be seen. The minute Barth suggested it at the end of episode 5, you knew that it was the only thing that made sense for them both. I loved the addition of Auntie Lek, and how her being trans yet still retaining her faith showed Tan that he didn't need to choose between his love for God and his love for Barth - he could have them both.Their visit to the prison was beautiful and heartbreaking, and when Barth's mum told him that she loved him more than God, you could see something change in him, demonstrated perfectly by him praying for the first time in years. The love hotel scenes was adorable and charged and so real. Barth not being able to smoke any more was a really nice nod to how he wasn't the same person that he was when he joined Magdalena, and as a GemFourth fan, I was obviously very happy that we got another kiss! And the ending! I was so scared that it hadn't worked out, that Tan being dressed the night after they made love with that beatific smile on his face meant that he'd decided to go back and fulfill his religious path with a renewed heart. So when Phak asked how they both were, my intake of breath almost killed me! And I legit screamed when I saw Tan's hand with the wedding ring! Plus I loved him wearing Barth's Beloved crucifix. While I really liked that Phak and Kongdech signified a new generation of priests who are accepting of love in all it's forms, do I actually believe that in reality? No. Has the Bible, and therefore the Catholic Church as an institution, changed its stance on homosexuality? No. But who really listens to the Bible anyway? People have always cherry picked the bits they liked and ignored the bits they didn't. So maybe it doesn't matter. Heaven and hell don't really exist anyway but if believing that it does makes you feel better, and doesn't involve you discriminating against others because the Bible tells you to, then I don't really have a problem with that. And I loved the snapshot of their married life together. Tan writing a book about it, Barth working hard, the daisies on the table, the photo of them in the nativity, the obvious love that they still have for each other after all those years. So the series is over and it was a masterpiece. In my opinion, it's in the top 3 Thai BL's of all time list alongside Last Twilight and The Eclipse. Fourth and Gemini's acting was superb, the directing was impeccable and the story was so important. Congratulations to everyone involved, and thank you for such a heavenly series.

A Perfect Finale

Couldn't have asked for a better way to end this series I seriously loved every moment and it's always gonna have a space deep in my heart. Everything was portrayed so beautifully. The scene of barth with his mother and Tanrak with the Father made me cry so hard but it was all so beautiful and I'm so happy barthtanrak got a happy end like they deserve. The most beautiful thing this series showed was there's no right or wrong path and every person has different choices and most importantly faith and love can coexist and you don't need to choose. I highly recommend everyone to watch this series regardless of their views on god and faith

Love and faith can live together

Don't know why I was so so worried about whether tan will choose barth or not ,I was so sacred. And when they finally run away and they were spending time ,I cried seriously. One of the best character in this episode is Aunty luak (?) who has played a very big role in tanrak's decision. Before tanrak wasn't sure and was confused but after meeting and talking to aunty luak ,He understand that there are many people who has faced the same situation,By seeing that a person who is like him is being themselves and loving themselves at the same time while still having strong faith and love for god . He understands that you don't have to choose but you can live with both choices. love god and Love his creation as well . And when we finally saw them being married I was crying from so much happiness seriously even though they are happy and finally get what they want I was still crying so much.I got attached to them so much that after seeing them married and living together made me so emotional. I love them so much.To see them finally living, specially tanrak loving and accepting both Barth' and god's love is something very special and It has a great message to the people who thinks if you are queers god will abandone you but It shows that god love them and one can be themselves and still have strong faith and shouldn't feel guilty. This series will always have a special place in my heart.I remembered how much suffocating all the eps was but it was all worth my time , I felt so happy after seeing my Barthtanrak together because the way they fought for each other to just simply love . Now they are together for 20 years and loving each other with the same passion they used to do when they were teenagers..MY BARTHTANRAK MARRIED AND HAVE THEIR LITTLE HOUSE FULL OF LOVE AND THEIR LOVE FOR EACH OTHER NEVER WAVERD,THEY LOVE EACH OTHER MORE EVERYDAY. THEY ARE AO CUTE AND LOVELY 😭😭😭I LOVE THEM SO MUCH ,SO MUCH ..EVEN THOUGH THIS SERIES HAS BROKEN ME MENTALLY SO MUCH BUT IT WAS WORTH IT AT THE END . THEY ARE TOGETHER BY EACH OTHER SIDE , LOVING EACH OTHER AND GOD AT THE SAME TIME . BARTHTANRAK YOU ARE NOT JUST A CHARACTER IN A SERIES,YOU ARE A REALLY BEAUTIFUL MEMORY AND IN MY MIND YOU GUYS ARE SOMEWHERES IN THAILAND LIVING HAPPILY. YOU GUYS WILL CONTINUE LIVING TOGETHER. YOU ARE REAL TO ME . AT LAST LOVE IS WHAT KEEPS PEOPLE LIVING IN THSI CRUEL WORLD,SO LOVING SOMEONE ISN'T A SIN CAUSE GOD MADE US TO LOVE . SO , LOVE IS LOVE NO MATTER WHAT IS THE GENDER. i am not good with words I can't even explain how much TTH has changed me and how impact it has in me . It will be unforgettable. To all the people who think you are not god's favorite child , trust me you are still god's favorite child and you can while still loving the one that has make you love living in this world. So Love without feeling guilty. Love is for everyone and everyone deserves sunshine.

A masterpiece of a finale

What an absolute triumph of a finale! Barth and Tanrak have officially cemented themselves as one of the most unforgettable duos. This episode gave us everything: the high stakes, the emotional resolution, and a well-deserved happy ending that felt completely natural and grounded. Given the setting and the intense themes of the show, a happy resolution required real care to pull off, and the writing team delivered it flawlessly. The chemistry between Gemini and Fourth is just magic at this point. They can communicate an entire universe of emotion with just a single glance or a subtle change in posture. The production value, the hauntingly beautiful choir a cappella elements, and the direction in this final episode were top-tier GMMTV quality. Seeing Barth and Tanrak finally smiling, completely at peace, and holding onto each other made every single bit of the angst worth it. They fought so hard for their "ticket to heaven," and seeing them get it was the perfect conclusion to an incredible series.

this was too short & even though it was…

this was too short & even though it was a happy ending, i am freakin devastated & crying my eyes out. the conversation & meeting with Father Arnon broke me, but it was also healing cause in-spite of what he thinks (cause of his religion) he realized that to Tanrak he wasn't just a priest, he was both mother & father & so he offered Tanrak the words of love, forgiveness, support & understanding he needed to live a guilt free, happy life with the person he loved. **************************************was also happy to see them have closure with not only Kongdech but Master Phak, there was something were heartening about that whole encounter. same with seeing the mother free & in red showing that in her freedom she was blossoming. this was a beautifully written, phenomenally acted BL. the fact this is the real life story of Aof makes this a love song to his beloved & to all the people in his life that came along to push his forward, including God. this was beautiful if painful

Happy Ending 💕

What a wonderful ending! Even though Barth and Tanrak had a rough journey discovering, hiding, and fighting for their love, it was fruitful and finally after so long, they got legally married. They showed that love can really win and how fighting for it is really worth it. This show really touched our hearts.

Acceptance

One can be gay and be Catholic, and acceptance helps overcome the guilt. After several episodes of deep and heavy feelings, the script chose a lighter story. This trope has been told in so many ways, but unique for a Thai. Watching a show about Catholics in Thailand is refreshing. Watching the struggle of a gay Catholic, nothing new. I am glad the church is not portrayed in an evil way because the Church doctrines are not, these are the scriptures we follow. Like other faiths, they have their own doctrines. I guess the writer can only present this type of ending, O can already hear the uproar of it were to end differently. But to be honest, there are gay Priests and it doesn’t make them bad. Some actions are bad. It’s giving up the flesh, whether a seminarian is straight or gay that’s the true sacrifice. And this series is not about that sacrifice, it’s accepting one’s sexuality.

What a series !

What a series ! It tackles a very sensitive issue and yet it delivers something positive. It makes you think and ponder all that we hold dear to us - God, the self, love, faith and thier relationship with each other. The actors delivered a very moving performance and I admire Fourth more especially in portraying a person who struggles with faith and love. There is something in his eyes that you can see through the emotions of doubt, loneliness and joy ! I can still remember vividly the sadness in his eyes in the early part of the series ! What an actor ! Gemini too delivered a good performance but the more challenging part, I think went to Fourth and it requires him to deliver different emotions and the struggles which can only be felt in his actions and particularly through his eyes. This series surely will open our own eyes to the many positive aspects of love - including gay love !
