So far, I like it a lot, and I'm excited to see more. But unfortunately I am one of those people who were wishing for a happy ending (because I believe that while realistically in real life this situation would've not ended necessarily well, people who have a religious background or religious trauma deserve to get their happy ending despite what their "God" wants), but from the way it started, I could sort of tell that it would either have a sad or a bittersweet ending.
Of course it's all just my theories, and it might end up with a happy ending regardless, but I am still a bit sad because I don't really believe it.
Still though, I can tell for sure that I will love this series regardless of the ending it will have because already I'm obsessed. It has good acting, great cinematography, and, of course, GeminiFourth chemistry is, as always, off the charts. So yeah, I'm excited for more. I'm sure they won't disappoint.
Episode 2:
Love seeing the way they portray how Tanrak's and Barth's feelings grow. First into friendship and then slowly something more.
Episode 3:
"I'm not God's favorite son either." It has to be one of the best lines in the history of BL series.
So far this series is definitely exceeding any expectations.
Episode 4-5:
I really enjoy Master Phak's story, even though there hasn't been much to see about it. It is still quite interesting.
I also really like Cherry and Phai as characters. The way they helped Tanrak and Barth sneak out and go have a little date is just so nice.
Also, I really didn't expect Keen to be a character in this series as well as Sea, but it was more of a happy surprise than anything.

The MOST important show to come out of this year so far.
I think a lot of fans don't understand why Ticket To Heaven having a happy ending is so important. What this show tells us, is that we do not need to sacrifice between religion and love. They are allowed to exist together. That it's okay to be queer, god still loves you.
This show is for the queer people that have lived with religious guilt their whole lives and felt like, or have been told, they have sinned, and would not be accepted for being who they are. That they would go to hell.
The LGBTQ+ has had enough sad endings. We deserve happiness, we deserve to accept ourselves. This trope of religious guilt, in most stories you will see, always have sad endings. Why don't we deserve a happy one?
I can't begin to explain how healing TTH was for me. I've grown up with a lot of resentment for religion, and watching TTH showed me religion and queer love can exist together. That we are allowed to love and be loved, and GROW OLD TOGETHER.
Our community needed this. Thank you, P'Aouf.

Faith, Hope, and Love - Perfectly mixed
Regardless of your personal beliefs, this is a series worth watching. It tackles the difficult intersection of queer identity and our beliefs that we have carried through our lifetime.GeminiFourth take to the roles so authentically, and you can relate every step of the way. It has it's ups and downs, and you feel so many emotions along the way.
6 episodes may seem short, and while I could have watch another 6, I think it was just the right length for the story it was telling.
I don't want to give any spoilers so I'll leave it at this, but if you're unsure about watching, whether because you aren't religious, of a different faith, or think it's may not be your cup of tea, all I can say is that it's absolutely worth a watch.

First episode
Only the first episode is out and it already had me crying at the intro and the whole friggin episode. this isn't good news at all 😭😭I genuinely couldn't stand the thought of tanrak being the one getting ordained at the beginning when barth said it was someone important to him. it screams no happy ending and I am so dreadful 😭 This show is about to be the best BEST masterpiece ever. Already one of my favorites yet I'm so sad. The acting is already unbelievable. I'm really hoping for the next episodes to hurry i can't wait any longer.

Ticket to Heaven my greatest BL so far
From its very first episode to its unforgettable finale, Ticket to Heaven proved that it was more than just a love story—it was a deeply moving exploration of faith, identity, family, forgiveness, and the courage to live authentically.I was captivated by how the series handled complex and sensitive themes with empathy and sincerity. It never reduced its characters to simple heroes or villains. Instead, it allowed them to be flawed, vulnerable, and deeply human, making every conflict and emotional breakthrough feel genuine.
One of the biggest strengths of the series was its cast. Fourth Nattawat Jirochtikul delivered a remarkable performance as Tanrak, expressing so much through subtle emotions, quiet moments, and heartfelt vulnerability. Gemini Norawit Titicharoenrak brought warmth, kindness, and unwavering support to Barth, creating a relationship that felt natural, comforting, and believable. Their chemistry wasn't built on dramatic moments alone, it grew through trust, understanding, and unconditional love.
Behind the camera, Noppharnach Chaiyahwimhon crafted a story with incredible care and sensitivity. Every episode balanced emotional storytelling with beautiful cinematography, thoughtful pacing, and a moving soundtrack that enhanced each scene without overwhelming it. The production consistently created an intimate atmosphere that allowed the emotions to speak for themselves.
What makes Ticket to Heaven truly special is that it doesn't try to provide easy answers. Instead, it encourages viewers to reflect on difficult questions about faith, acceptance, and what it truly means to love someone. It reminds us that compassion is stronger than judgment, and that hope can exist even in life's most challenging moments.
Long after the final episode, I know this series will stay with me. It made me laugh, cry, reflect, and appreciate stories that dare to tackle meaningful subjects with honesty and heart. Ticket to Heaven isn't just one of the best BL series I've watched, it's one of the most emotionally impactful dramas I've experienced.
⭐️ 10/10. Thank you to GeminiFourth, the talented supporting cast, Director Aof, and the entire production team for creating a series that touched so many hearts. This is a story I'll gladly revisit and recommend for years to come.

Beautiful Beyond Words
Simply the best. Honestly, this series had me hooked from start to finish — I was completely along for the ride, fully invested. Major kudos to the director, who I truly think is the best BL storyteller out there. He handled such a delicate subject with so much care and skill, and it really showed. The shots, the cinematography, the editing — everything was top-notch. It captured the vibe perfectly, pulling out all the emotions in such a natural way. The script was thought‑provoking too; you can tell how much effort went into making this a high‑caliber series. The acting across the board was strong, but of course, Fourth once again proved why he’s the standout actor of his generation. His eyes alone carry so much weight — they’re expressive enough to tell the whole story without a single word. Truly a gem of an actor. All in all, this series was memorable, beautiful, and inspiring. It’s the kind of show that stays with you long after the credits roll. Absolute 5/5 stars. Was this review helpful to you?

Rewatch value 100000000%
A series that will stay in your head and in your heart. A beautifully told story, from the very first episode almost all the way to the end, constantly keeping you in suspense. They could honestly rename it to: Tension in an all-boys school. What I really like about this series are the natural scenes of tenderness between the characters, without overdoing explicit intimate content. Here, intimacy is built mainly through constant tension and scenes that carry a sexual undertone, but remain unspoken and implied — and that actually makes them even better. But this kind of storytelling and directing requires real skill!
A beautiful plot, of course slightly idealized, but I think we were all hoping for a happy ending — and we’re glad we got it.
I also want to mention two details: the motel scene, Tanrak’s slight clumsiness and shyness — those are scenes full of naturalness, of real young relationships. We really lack that kind of authenticity in series these days.
The main actors definitely deserve praise: Gemini — I’m extremely impressed! Also Fourth, who was sometimes able to convey emotions without any dialogue at all. Later in the series, especially towards the end, his tone of voice and way of speaking became very calm and slow, almost reminiscent of how some priests I know speak :O I don’t know if that was an intentional choice, but if so — chapeau bas!
Although at the beginning Tanrak’s silence fit the mood perfectly, I feel that in the later episodes, especially at the end, his character became too calm and too closed off. After many years of living with Barth, I would have expected a stronger change in his personality. With Barth, it was more visible — from a rebel he became a calm, stable man — while Tanrak remained… well, still calm Tanrak. But maybe I’m just nitpicking here.
One thing I would criticize is the number of episodes. I think there should have been at least one more episode explaining how the boys returned to school after their two-day escape. We only saw the scene where their teacher/guardian greeted Tanrak, but nothing beyond that. When exactly did they leave the school for good? How did it happen? I understand the director wanted to focus more on the present timeline, but in my opinion they could have added two or three scenes showing how it actually led to them permanently leaving the school.
On a positive note, I really liked how their shared life — Tanrak and Barth’s — was shown later on. I’m glad it wasn’t just a “wedding and goodbye” ending, but that we actually got a glimpse of their everyday life together. That was a really nice change for a series like this.
And lastly, I just want to say I’m very happy about Bright’s role, and I hope to see him in more productions in the future :)

a timeless masterpiece.
this is, simply put, one of those timeless masterpieces.it’s one of those work of art that no one will ever be able to recreate it ever again, made by people that had a very clear grasp of what they wanted to do, what they wanted to tell and what they needed to deliver. this is high art, with a very appealing storytelling, a well executed directional work and suberbly crafted acting.
Ticket to Heaven is and will always remain not only as one of the best works in Boys Love media but also as one the most important piece of media in general, either Thai or Global.
thank you, P’Aof, and thank you, GeminiFourth.

It proves that simple storytelling can create the deepest impact.
Ticket to Heaven is an emotional series that taught us about faith, hope and love. The performances feel natural, the story flows effortlessly.Ticket to Heaven is a deeply moving series that beautifully captures the complexity of human emotions through a simple yet powerful story. From the very beginning, it draws you in with its calm and sincere storytelling, gradually unfolding layers of love, pain, longing, and hope. What makes this series truly special is its ability to say so much without relying on dramatic twists—every emotion feels natural, every moment feels real.
The performances are one of its strongest aspects. The actors deliver their roles with such honesty that you can feel every glance, every silence, and every unspoken word. Their chemistry adds depth to the story, making the relationships feel genuine and relatable rather than exaggerated. It’s the kind of acting that doesn’t just show emotions but makes you experience them.
Visually, the series is soft and aesthetically pleasing, perfectly matching its emotional tone. The direction allows scenes to breathe, giving viewers time to connect with the characters and their journeys. Even the quiet moments carry weight, proving that sometimes silence can be more powerful than dialogue.
What stays with you the most is the emotional impact. Ticket to Heaven isn’t just about telling a story—it’s about making you feel every part of it. It reminds you of the beauty and fragility of relationships and how even the smallest moments can hold the deepest meaning.
Overall, Ticket to Heaven is not just a series you watch for entertainment; it’s an experience that touches your heart and lingers in your mind long after it ends. It’s gentle, heartfelt, and truly unforgettable.
Every moment in this series leaves a lasting impact. It’s not just something you watch—it’s something you truly feel. It is one of the best series I have ever seen.

such a beautiful way to ruin people; and i never even complained it
This is my first time writing a review and english is not my first language so I'm sorry if this turns into a mess.First of all I really need to talk about P'Aof. As one of his biggest fans I already knew this series was going to be the end of me. I expected everything yet somehow he still shattered every expectation I had and left my soul in the prettiest kind of ruin. I owe him more than I could ever put into words for creating something like this and I am not exaggerating even a little.
As for the series itself... I am genuinely speechless. From episode 1 to 6 there wasn't a single moment when my mind wandered or when my heartbeat found its rhythm again. In most series we patiently wait for the main leads to have their moments a hand brushing against another, fingers intertwined, a simple confession but here Istg I didn't even want them to share a glance. It may sound cruel and some of you might even think I am rude but this is from my perspective. I am not even catholic yet the weight of every unspoken feeling felt sacred. Every time their eyes met I held my breath as if I had sinned myself. Their silence was louder than any confession could ever be.
In one way this was painfully difficult to watch. In another it was the most beautiful thing I have ever witnessed. Not one of the most beautiful series this is the most beautiful series I have ever watched.
The rewatch value of this series is incredibly high yet I don't think I am strong enough to go through it again even though I already know how it ends. Some stories don't lose their power once you know the ending. They simply find new ways to break you.
I also deeply loved the relationship between Tan and father. At first I thought father would become the villain. but by the end I realized he understood Tan better than anyone else ever could. After all who was he to blame him when he already knew that the person suffering the most was Tan himself. Tan was always his favourite son all along.
And I love how Tan always clung to his rosemary cross even while questioning himself, even while wondering whether the voice he heard was still as loud as it was. It felt like watching someone desperately hold onto faith while standing at the edge of losing it.
I could talk about this series for hours, for days even. Every tiny detail, every symbol, every silence invites a different interpretation. The pain, the beauty, the longing, the misery... everything exists so perfectly together that none of it can survive without the other.
I always fell so much harder into Gemfot after finishing their series but this time I fell a little bit harder into P'Aof. Not being dramatic but I am truly so grateful. He definitely deserves that sunshine.
As it says in the Bible "And now these three remain faith, hope and love but the greatest of these is love." (1 Corinthians 13:13)
May every Tanrak one day find their very own Barth because hate is the sin not love.
