Gold Land (2026)

Heeju is such an unlikable character. The fact that we don't know much about her dilutes whatever story they are telling.
At first I was so mad at her for making all this dumb decisions and following her bf so blindly. The next episodes do give us some backstory and context on why she did all of that but still it was frustrating to watch.

Heeju only survived all this due luck. Somehow she had Woogi's deep loyalty and her father finds her at the correct time and sacrifices his life for her. Woogi's initial loyalty can be chalked up to him having some brains and realizing the only way he could get some money is by being on her side but him trying to save her multiple times even after she made it clear that she didn't trust him...foolish af.
Her parents story was emotional though.

They tried to do a theme of how people get greedy and everything and it worked for a while with Heeju's mentality being no gold no life but then they kinda throw it away with Heeju going around saving everyone she doesn't trust and then crying that she just wants to live a normal life.
Maybe they were trying to do a nuanced take on greed and stuff but it just didn't work

Ambição e caos psicológico

Terminei Terra do Ouro e gostei bastante da proposta mais sombria e tensa do dorama. Fugiu totalmente daquele clichê suspense. A história conseguiu prender muito pela ganância, traições e pelo clima constante de desespero, onde ninguém parecia realmente confiável. A atuação da Park Bo-young foi um dos pontos mais fortes pra mim, porque ela conseguiu passar bem essa mistura de medo, ambição e sobrevivência da personagem.
O dorama também acertou muito na tensão psicológica. Cada episódio deixava aquela sensação de que tudo podia dar errado a qualquer momento, e isso fez a história ficar interessante. A disputa pelo ouro foi destruindo alianças e mostrando o pior lado de cada personagem.
Mas preciso dizer que alguns pontos realmente ficaram meio soltos. Tiveram mistérios e motivações que pareciam importantes durante a trama e simplesmente não foram aprofundados direito. Em certos momentos parecia que o roteiro queria correr mais do que devia, principalmente perto do final. E aquele final aberto… seria uma segunda temporada vindo aí?
Também gostei que a Heeju e o Woogi ficaram juntos no final. Mesmo assim, achei um dorama diferente, intenso e bem acima da média pra quem gosta de thriller criminal com personagens moralmente duvidosos.
