Never thought I would enjoy the cheesiness and drama this much

As someone who doesn't usually enjoy over dramatic and cheesy romances I was surprised that I didn't find this series particularly cringe. Some of the dialogue was sooo cheesy I was amazed the actors could deliver it with straight faces. And perhaps that was the reason why this series was actually enjoyable and romantic despite the somewhat questionable dialogue ( I mean, what in the world is kiss-meets-explosion-destroys-the-world.... is this a translation mistake). The acting chops of the main leads make this worth watching, they delivered some of these lines with such conviction and acted with their entire body and soul.

The pacing of the story was good, with enough drama, conflict and tension to keep the plot interesting, interjected with well timed humour (here's looking at you Weinai) and a heavy dose of "i-will-die-for-this-love" scenes that brought out the amazing chemistry between the 2 MLs. The actor playing Armin's theatrical acting really shone in this series and the actor playing Thada (who also had to deliver some of the most cringey lines) matched it. I would actually rewatch some of their scenes together just to appreciate the acting. At times I felt like I was being rude and invading their privacy.

Would've rated this a 9 if not for some misgivings. Firstly, they didn't try hard enough to make it believable that the characters had aged 20 years (that's some powerful botox in action). Secondly, Thiwthit's character design was all over the place, was he interested in the inheritance or Thada? Gotta make up your mind boy. Thirdly, the villians were way too one-dimensional. Lastly, the anti-climatic revenge on Armin's ex-lover and ex-bestie, I was really looking forward to a good revenge plot. I suppose I'll need to get that fix elsewhere.

On balance, this was a really enjoyable watch , just steel your heart for cheesiness you've never experienced before and also some truly amazing acting from the 2MLs.

THIS IS A MUST WATCH CUZ IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCH THIS YOU'RE MISSING OUT

Wont be giving any spoiler but here's my thoughts abt this series

First of all, I really love how Pond and Peterpan portrayed their characters—it never felt cringe, and you can genuinely feel the emotions they’re trying to convey. Their performances were natural. However, Bom’s acting sometimes comes off as a bit exaggerated, which can be hard to watch at times. I do hope to see improvement there.

The chemistry between the two leads made the story even more incredible—it truly elevated the entire series. This is absolutely cinema.

That said, the timeline of the storyline can be a bit confusing at times, which slightly affects the overall viewing experience.

It’s the Rewatch Effect and It Still Hits Like the First Time

So good I keep rewatching it. That says everything. I’ve watched plenty of good shows. I enjoy them, finish them, and rarely go back. But this one? I started it… and I haven’t been able to let go. I keep rewatching, and I can’t even explain why. It’s just that good. This love story feels real and beautifully done. It doesn’t try too hard, it just unfolds naturally and wins your heart in a way that stays with you. Pan and Pond’s chemistry? It’s next level. Every scene together just clicks.

A series that kept me entertained

Disclaimer

What I am writing here are my views and thoughts about this series. Some of you may not like it. That does not give you the right to try to come at me with your opinions on why this series should get a higher or lower score and why it is better/worse than I think it is. You have your own opinions, and I have mine. Kindly respect that.

Okay, the reason I decided to give this series a watch was for the two main actors – "Pond" Ponlawit Ketprapakorn and "Peterpan" Tadsapon Wiwitawan. I saw some of their previous works, and I liked their acting skills, even if I may not have liked the series. And I must say – they did not disappoint.

This is a series where one of the main characters, Armin, goes back in time after a horrible incident that led to his death. And it's from here that we, the viewers, are entertained every week as we wait to see the outcome of this story. We are introduced to a variety of characters as Armin tries to go through his new life that he has been given, as well as working on his passion for acting.

While he navigates this new life, he meets Thada, and they develop a close relationship. Along the way, they encounter obstacles in the form of jealous co-actors (it was really nice seeing First Chalongrat Novsamrong here, as he played a different character than I am used to seeing him play) and jealous stepbrothers, just to name a few. I will also say that I was a little shocked on seeing Thiwthit's true feelings towards Thada, which led me to watch Thiwthit in a new way, but yet was still shocked at what happened in the end concerning him.

This series was well done, with the storyline flowing through it and keeping us viewers entertained, showing our emotions through happiness, anger and sadness (because these guys went through A LOT to get their happy ending).

P.S.- I love Secretary Veynai so much!

A lesson on chemistry

I swooned and felt all the feels. Someone get me my own Tada pls (sorry Armin). Their love story moved me so much. Tada was Kind of a stalker in the previous life but it's ok all is forgiven cause he's such a cute golden retriever. I really loved the acting and chemistry it was to die for. While, obviously, the story was irrealistic it still was handled well. At the end I feel like the whole "Reset" magic could've been explained better but I was satisfied on how it was handled and I'm glad they had a happy ending. Armin got the strongest bones and luck cause that man died 1 time and almost 2 other times but he still bagged the hot CEO. Armin teach me your ways King.

Sleeping on Reset? That’s a You Problem!!!!!!!!!

Reset is that show you don’t casually watch — it drags you in and leaves you emotionally wrecked in the best way. The chemistry between the leads? Absolutely insane. It’s natural, intense, and honestly sets the bar way too high for everyone else.

Both actors didn’t just perform, they owned their roles. The emotions feel raw, the longing hits hard, and every scene feels like it actually means something. You can tell they put their whole heart into it—and it shows.

And let’s be real, this show has everything: love, passion, drama, heartbreak, and that aching kind of yearning that stays with you. It’s not just a story, it’s a full emotional experience.

If you’re still not watching Reset, that’s on you. Because missing this? Definitely a loss.

Reset — When Great Acting Carries a Complicated Story

Reset is one of those dramas where the performances are so strong that they elevate the entire series, even when the story itself isn’t always easy to follow. The concept is interesting and ambitious, mixing emotional drama with a narrative that constantly shifts perspective and forces the characters to question their own choices. At times it feels almost like a puzzle where pieces slowly fall into place, but that structure can also make the story a bit confusing in certain moments. The real strength of the series, however, is its cast. Pond Ponlawit once again proves why he is one of the most talented actors of his generation. I’ve been impressed by him since 180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us, where he already showed an incredible emotional depth. Here he delivers another performance that feels completely authentic. He has a very unique presence on screen: cute yet masculine, with a slightly androgynous charm that makes him incredibly appealing. More importantly, he knows how to adapt his acting to the emotional tone of each scene. When his character struggles, you feel it immediately. It honestly surprises me that after such a powerful performance in 180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us, it took this long for him to get another leading role where he could really show his talent again. Reset gives him that opportunity, and he takes full advantage of it. Peterpan Tadsapon also deserves credit for his performance. His dynamic with Pond works well, even if their relationship in the story sometimes feels more restrained than passionate. Both actors are straight and clearly focus on the acting itself rather than playing into fan-service or shipping culture, which gives their scenes a different kind of authenticity. Their connection feels more grounded and subtle. Instead of exaggerated romantic gestures, the attraction appears through smaller interactions and emotional tension, which shows their experience as actors.

The story itself is ambitious but occasionally difficult to follow. The shifting narrative structure and the way events unfold can make the plot feel confusing at times, especially when the drama tries to balance emotional storytelling with more complex narrative ideas. There are moments where the pacing could have been clearer, and a few plot elements feel slightly underexplained. Still, the production remains engaging thanks to the performances and the atmosphere the drama builds around its characters. The music works well with the emotional tone of the story, even if it doesn’t necessarily stand out as one of the most memorable aspects of the series.

Final Thought

Reset may not have the most straightforward story, but the strength of the acting makes it absolutely worth watching. Pond Ponlawit once again proves how versatile and emotionally powerful he is as an actor, and the connection with Peterpan Tadsapon keeps the drama engaging from beginning to end. Even with a story that can feel confusing at times, the performances alone make the series memorable and deserving of its high rating.

Pond finally shining was the reset I needed

Ever since I watched 180 Degrees Longitude Passes Through Us, I have fallen in love with the absolute master class in acting that Pond possesses. And while I had major hopes for Fourever You, it was a major let down in my opinion (in regards to the character and pairing). Then Reset dropped and gave everything I'd been hoping for and SO much more.

PeterPan SHINED next to Pond and the two of them together made Reset the series the best it could be. I'm so happy they were paired together for this because they literally ATE in every sense of the word. There's so many times that you see one side of a pairing pale in comparison to the other, but this couldn't be further from the truth for these two. I would love to see them onscreen together in the future as well.

This series could have been so much longer, but I'm glad that at the end of it all that they both ended up happily together in their reset lives.

I don't have words for this series. Actors did a really amazing job. P'Tada is standards. Loved Wenai and Armin! The story line is amazing! Yall would find different opinions about it good or bad but pleaseeeeeeeee go and watch it and then decide if its good or not! I loved this series a lot! It didn't have unnecessary NC scenes which made it much better. The concept was new (at least for me). In the end. I would just say that go and just watch it.

The parts are greater than the whole

Beautifully shot and directed with studied care by Natthaphong Wongkaweepairod, "Reset" boasts two luminescent leads and a strong supporting cast. If it doesn't quite produce gold from the material and personnel available to it, it still makes for many entertaining moments.

The principal theme of redemptive second chances is muddied somewhat by the nature of what its lead, the aspiring actor Armin (Pond Ponlawit Keprapakorn), has to face and overcome. Here, in this series, Armin struggles to succeed in the face of professional jealousy, nepotism and sexual predators. Many will find something credible and comparable to their own work experiences in this list; but writer/director Natthaphong throws into the mix a demented villain, Thiwthit, played in a pantomime fashion by Bom Tanawat Uthaikitwanit.

What sustains "Reset" is the considerable acting power of Pond in the lead role. Such is his ability, he could perform scenes convincingly on his own, without any other actor on screen; but here he is supported ably by Peterpan as his love interest. The resulting scenes between them are enough to justify anyone watching this series, although herein lies the problem. The beauty and emotional force of the scenes between the lovers tilt the drama in a way that makes the remainder a chafing distraction by comparison.
