Adorable! Sweet, but not too sweet. really loved this one.

Very refreshing rom com. Different from the normal tropey plot. Well acted. Loved the ML and FL, and grandpa. Janice Wu is, as usual, terrific. And I'm becoming a fan of the actor that plays the ML. As others have said, it's quite long. Could cut out at least 5 episodes. Long wait for FL and ML getting together, but it makes for a slow burn and sizzling romance. The side characters are dull, as others have said, and drag things down. Music is wonderful. Refreshing female lead. Intelligent, doesn't back down. ML is not abusive at all -- kind to FL.
Yes, I see that reviewers found the patriotism a little too much. For me, it was expected. It's a Chinese show. It's natural that they would include patriotism in it, especially about the pride of space exploration. It's far less than in "You Are My Glory".

Not your average workplace drama

Absolutely loved this! Great performances from the whole cast, nice mini Eternal Love/Rattan reunion for ML and main female antagonist, there were a series of antagonists but none of their storylines/screen-time was overdone, they weaved in and out just the right amount.

Flashbacks (which can get annoying if badly deployed) were used well to help explain backstory/reasons for our leads taking actions in the present and you got to see things from their different perspectives, deepening the understanding you have of the characters.

ML is obviously a complete dreamboat, smart, kind, noble, funny and sweet, also good with kids. I really liked the FL's character development, she applied herself and took on the challenges that presented at work, always trying (and generally succeeding) to make a success of things. The romance between them is really good and there were some hilarious scenes that had me laughing out loud as well. A real treat!

Straightforward romance story with superb main leads

I enjoyed this drama first because of the straightforward romance story with highly talented actors as the main couple. The story of both leads as individuals was different from the majority of stories we see in C-dramas or K-dramas. It is not all around their love and relationship and we can connect with their story and growth as individual persons. Also, both Zhang BinBin and Janice Wu's acting are really top-notch with a lot of chemistry between them.
Here shows the process of FL's growth without a bunch of jealous people causing problems because of her relationship with ML. She learned and discovered her potential throughout the work handling without ML being her saviour. ML help her and stand beside her whenever is needed but he is not the saviour and the same was for FL. So you see the strong FL and you can see the process of her growth and very patient ML who finds the way to his interest at the end.
As for their romance is very straightforward, not a long break-up or antagonistic third party. The majority of the time they solve their problems by speaking (better say by Kissing). Nothing in the story remained unexplained or vague.

The only problem for me was the acting and story of some of the side characters, especially the second couple of the story, I couldn't connect with their chemistry and their story.
In conclusion, I enjoyed watching this drama it was so relaxing and exciting as well. I really liked the ML character (Xu Yan Shi) portrayed by ZBB and his chemistry with FL. I also like to watch it again.

Romance with a different vibe

A romantic Cdrama with a bit of a bit different vibe than many of the others I have seen. It did manage to stir my emotions in several scenes.
They didn’t steer away from all the clichés (like woman tripping and being saved by man), and the female characters in many Cdramas that are too childish and whiny (that I personally find quite annoying) was reduced to a smaller one.

I liked that the FL had a “spunky” personality, and I thought the granddad was a cool character.

The show made me feel everything from the heartaches and despair to attraction and desire, especially from the ML.

What stops me from giving full score is the rushed ending, and the fact that some scenes felt too much like a promotional video for Chinas tech sphere.

Good chemistry between main leaders.
I love protective men and here the main character is just like that.
Its charm had already struck me in another series I saw (Fireworks of my heart).
The leading female protagonist gives liveliness and you can't get bored. I watched 32 episodes in a heartbeat and would watch more episodes too.
In this series you can find: long-standing love, fraternal friendship, devotion to the chief, a bastard father on the one hand and a loving grandfather on the other and much more.
I also liked the secondary characters and the OST.
I was only upset about one thing: he gave up immediately and didn't fight to keep his little brother with him that he raised so lovingly for about ten years.

A LIGHT ROM COM WITH AMAZING AND THRILLING CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THE LEADS.

I was anticipating this from the very moment I knew they paired two of my favourites, Janice Wu and Vin Zhang and from the moment I decided to watch this...I've been entertained, fed with all the sweetness and satisfied ?

The plot is actually nice and we'll executed for a light romcom it managed to balance the business part and the romance parts but at the same time got rid of many of the cliche plots like the love triangles and the second leads and the second female leads and the second couples that tend to steal screen time.
The leads were given there time to shine, they were given time to flirt and slowly fall for each other, what I loved about this was the clarification and the story telling, showing us the past and the present simultaneously but at the same time in an organised manner, I appreciated the use of young actors and actresses to portray the leads young versions, it felt absolutely refreshing on my side, the story was cute, a slow burn but with lots of thrilling moments between the leads, the screen time was divided evenly and I haven't been bored once since the first episode.

The chemistry between the leads was chefs kiss, how do I say these two could be cute and hot together at the same time, their interactions felt really natural and I giggled rolled in my bed each and every time they interacted I loved to watch both of them together..they were and are still are my C drama comfort couple.

The acting was good, I'd say Janice Wu never disappoints me with her natural acting and effortless comedy she wasn't your typical spoilt rich brat of a female lead, she was hardworking gutsy smart and refreshingly strong enough to stand up for her self and her loved ones..she really was having fun with her role as Xiangyuan and iam glad I met her.
Vin Zhang I don't know if I'd see a male lead like him, I know they are many but he has to be the most calm and down to earth male lead I've been introduced too, he was hot too and I absolutely love his voice...Xu yanshi was definitely meant for him and no one else❤️?

The osts were so good, I always listen to them on loop and I don't think I can pick a favourite...since I love them all?

The support characters too did a good job in their respective roles..and iam glad I had time to interact with them.

I haven't finished the drama yet but a drama that will stay on my mind for decades is that which gets me excited each time I start a new episode and gets me sad when the episode ends and Here we meet again was that drama..I highly recommend it to everyone.

One of the best C Dramas in 2023

This is a very interesting and different drama. I loved the chemistry between the female lead and male lead. Both the lead characters portray trust, understanding towards each others situations and grow to accommodate each other even though they come from different backgrounds.
I am personally love the seamless balance between friendship and romance without the overly jealous main leads.
I recommend this C drama to anyone looking for a handsome male lead, captivating storyline and healthy dose of romance.

Simply adorable!

Too many times, I exclaimed out loud that this drama was adorable.

--The chemistry between the couples was more than I could ask for. Not just the mains, but the side couples as well, in my opinion.

--The cringey parts were dealt with logically. (For instance, she accidentally dials his number and actually says it was an accident instead of coming up with some ridiculous reason for calling.)

--The relationships were realistic in that the characters weren't always mature....I mean, who in their mid-twenties is actually mature?? (For that matter, who in their mid-anything is actually mature? We all have our not-so-mature responses.)

--The storyline itself had its fantastical, dramatic moments, but that's why we watch. I mean, what CEO is going to let his spoiled, unexperienced granddaughter take a leadership role in his company? (I could be wrong about this as I'm not in big business, but I can't see the shareholders letting this happen. Also, there's nothing wrong with being a little spoiled...LOL) And rarely do we get to see people get what they deserve, i.e. the bad guys getting caught and the good guys winning, but again, that's why we watch dramas.

--The romantic moments were surprisingly good. This is the first time I have ever considered the male lead to be "lustful but restrained." Vin Zhang did a fabulous job with that aspect of his character.

--The comedy had me laughing out loud multiple times.

--The only thing I didn't like in the entire drama was the product placement. While an effort was made to work the product placement into the script, that effort was bare minimum. I would actually preferred commercials to product placement in this instance.

--I truly enjoyed the soundtrack to this drama.

One of the Mature Love stories

I really enjoyed the story, They both love each other very much, are jealous of each other, but they are both mature. There are definitely disagreements. but they each complement each other in dealing with the problem. They also don't rush in dealing with their problems. And I am satisfied to see Vin Zhang's smile because in the previous 2 Vin Zhang dramas that I watched, he played a cold guy who rarely smiled.
There are some very annoying third parties. But it's okay. They easily and understand each other in dealing with the problem.
Their acting is also good.
OST, I quite like it.

A Second Chance at First Love

A heartwarming and realistic story of reconciliation, Here We Meet Again captures the beauty of growing up, letting go of the past, and finding the courage to love once more.

A sweet, refreshing romantic drama that blends workplace tension with the charm of a rekindled college romance. The story follows Xiang Yuan, a strong-willed woman determined to save her family’s struggling business, and Xu Yan Shi, a once brilliant engineer who has fallen from grace. When fate brings them back together as colleagues, old wounds resurface, but so do lingering feelings.

What makes this drama stand out is its realistic portrayal of adult relationships — filled with pride, regret, and unspoken affection. The chemistry between the leads feels natural and heartfelt, evolving from awkward reunions to genuine emotional healing.

Unlike many typical romantic comedies, Here We Meet Again balances career ambition, personal growth, and love beautifully. It reminds us that sometimes, timing is everything — and that true love can find its way back when both hearts have matured.

Underrated as F! I feel warmth and love everytime I watch this. The chemistry is so good.

As I was watching the drama, I noticed how similar Xu Yan Shi to Duan Jia Xu. Both hardworking, trying to make up for their fathers' debts, caring and understanding partners. What's there to not like?

He could have been a little open with Xiang Yuan in the past, but he was in a very difficult position. Xiang Yuan wasn't a saint herself, she just went into her shell every time she came across something suspicious instead of openly discussing it.

I feel they were well-matched on all levels. Just so damn adorable. There was a time when I enjoyed stories with the constant push and pull between the leads, but I have outgrown it. This is the only drama where it doesn't get on my nerves that much. It is so good to see them finally make up their mind and be with each other.
