Adorable!
This show is absolutely adorable! Now, usually I’m not to into most dramas because of my awfully short attention span but this show had me immediately hooked! The actors overall did an amazing job! None of the scenes were ever really awkward & the communication was honestly very surprising! Shows like to drag out issues for most of the episodes but problems in this drama were fixed almost instantly! The tension was great, no scenes were boring, and it wasn’t never uncomfortable to watch. I think that even though the plot may seem sort of cliché, it was executed perfectly. Duang’s character was like a breath of fresh air! His determination and lively personality made the show very enjoyable & entertaining to watch. Besides that, the side characters were so hilarious! The friendship between Duang, Pae, and Jamie was the most accurate friendship I think I’ve ever seen in a show! They would make jokes and laugh at each other but you could tell that they never really meant it and they always helped each other out. Qinn’s character wasn’t bad either! He had the typical, “I act like I don’t care, but I do” personality and he played it well! As the show went on it was very refreshing to see him open up over time.
The storyline is pretty straightforward & it doesn’t really beat around the bush. Which makes it even better! Every episode had me kicking my feet and waiting for more! The show is pretty comforting because it displays their emotions accurately and feels like an actual personal experience. It’s a nice drama to just relax to and not have to worry about horrible, stiff acting or boring plot.
I would definitely recommend watching this! It’s a cute, laid-back show & is honestly perfect in every aspect!

im glad i found you
It's probably one of the most realistic shows I've ever watched, if not the most realistic. Seeing Duang, I could see myself. He taught me the kind of lover I aspire to be, while Qin taught me the kind of lover that I deserve. The kind of love that exists between them is special and unwavering. Unshaken, they chose each other from the start until the end of the show. and it comforts me enough to know how much love they were able to show to us, and how much love is going to be left unseen by us, which would keep on going. This show genuinely improved the quality of my life. Thank you.Was this review helpful to you?
101% Love
i've been following por & teetee for a long time and i couldn't have asked for anything more as their first series. yes they are good actors but their chemistry together is one of the best i've seen as a thai bl watcher for the past 7 years. you can feel the sincerity through the screen in all of duangqin's romantic moments. they're a couple who genuinely care for each other, in ways that heals my heart and makes me feel warm.i throughly enjoyed the osts and i'm also glad they gave us the full performances instead of cutting those scenes out cause i loved seeing their tpop idol sides shine through. all the little details like the cute background sfx (pipipi qin tetete duang has been stuck in my head), the bgm choices, the editing style, outfit choices, locations, were all so well thought out honestly. yeah there's few things that weren't too great like the side characters stories but i didn't mind how they wrapped it all up. jamie's friendship with duang and qin is my most favourite thing ever.
overall if you just love a feel good uni romance series then i would recommend giving it a watch!!

Must watch. Super worth it!!!!! I rewatched it so many times. All the actors are so good by portraying the characters, also you can really feel how dedicated they are while doing this series. If you love someone who's like a bubbly & energetic, you will fall in love with Duang. But if you like someone who's shy & introvert, you will definitely love Qin. Duang & Qin is so very very cute couple. They balance each other so well.
Also, the OST in these series is so so so good you will definitely like it!!!!

NOT THE BEST BUT STILL GOOD!!
I feel like the drama emphasize its title strongly—“Not the Best but Still Good”—because that phrase actually captures the heart of the story perfectly. It’s about two people with completely opposite strengths and flaws who somehow balance each other beautifully.Duang = a golden retriever character—over-the-top, cheerful, and always ready to give everything to the person he loves. But underneath that positivity, he struggles with insecurity and tends to overthink.
Qin, on the other hand, has that reserved “black cat” energy. He comes across as cold or even arrogant because he prefers to be alone and avoids dealing with people. But deep down, he has a soft side—especially for those he truly cares about. His guarded personality comes from past trauma.
What makes their relationship compelling is how different their upbringings are. Duang grew up surrounded by love and wants to share that warmth with Qin. Meanwhile, Qin is a lonely soul who craves love but hides behind his walls. Duang’s persistence and consistency slowly break those walls down, brick by brick.
What I Loved
1. Chemistry
The chemistry is absolutely sizzling. This is my first DMD drama, so I wasn’t familiar with the actors before, but TeeteePor’s chemistry is insane. The way they handle skinship feels incredibly natural—not forced or awkward. Compared to other BL dramas I’ve watched, this one stands out in how realistically it portrays a queer relationship. It feels genuine and lived-in.
2. Acting
It’s hard to believe this is TeeteePor’s first lead role—they feel like seasoned actors.
Teetee, especially, did an amazing job as Duang. That character could easily come off as cringey, but he made Duang lovable and charming. His emotional range is impressive—when he shifts from playful to serious, the contrast is striking. I’m really excited to see him take on more intense roles in the future.
Por also did a great job as Qin. That kind of character is tricky—if not done well, Qin could easily seem selfish or unlikable. But Por made sure we could see Qin’s vulnerability beneath the surface. His use of micro-expressions was especially strong—you can understand Qin’s emotions even when he says nothing. That’s not easy to pull off, but he handled it well.
There’s always room for improvement, but honestly, I don’t have major complaints about their performances.
3. Music / OST
DMD really went all out with the OST—14 songs and covers is wild. And the best part? They’re actually good. I’ve been replaying them constantly. The music really adds to the emotional impact of the series.
What I Didn’t Like
1. JammieMarvis
Their relationship feels underdeveloped. It comes across more like filler than a meaningful subplot. There’s little to no progression, and even by the end, their dynamic is unclear. The chemistry is inconsistent—sometimes it works, sometimes it feels awkward. I don’t think it’s the actors’ fault; it seems more like an issue with direction and writing.
2. TongPae & JammiePae
I understand why TongPae got attention—it had potential if the production had leaned into it more. But it seems like they didn’t anticipate how much fans would like that pairing, so it ended up with an open-ended, platonic conclusion.
Interestingly, I felt more chemistry between JammiePae than JammieMarvis. Even though it’s clearly meant to stay platonic, their dynamic felt more natural and engaging.
After being away from the BL fandom for so long, I didn’t expect to get pulled back in—but this series did exactly that. Duang With You and TeeteePor really brought me back.
You can tell the production team put a lot of heart into this project, and it shows. The story resonates, the emotions feel genuine, and the ending feels complete—even without a special episode.
That said, if we do get one, I definitely won’t complain.
Rating: 11/10
This drama left me with such a warm, wholesome feeling—it’s easily one of my favorite BL series now.

Chasing feelings, one step at a time
I really liked the dynamic between Duang and Qin right from the start. Duang is open, persistent, and a bit chaotic in his feelings, while Qin comes off as distant and hard to read, and that contrast makes their relationship naturally engaging. The whole “chasing someone who doesn’t quite know what to do with you” could have been repetitive, but here it feels light and even a bit refreshing, especially once they’re forced to spend time together through the stage performance. You can slowly see Qin soften, and that shift is what makes their connection work. It’s not a dramatic or intense romance, but more something that grows through presence and familiarity. I also really enjoyed the overall vibe, it’s a small weekly dose of energy that’s just easy to watch. I do wish we had seen more of the other friends, because their dynamic added a lot and it felt like there was more to explore there.

Not the best, but still BEST
I’m actually writing my first review because this show had me on chokehold….and probably always will have. I love this series so so much. It’s true that the story is not that special, it’s a simple romance with some family drama but the ACTING and EMOTIONS are out of this world when it comes to TeeTeePor. It’s actually really hard to believe it’s theirs first main role, cause they delivered an amazing performance. But also the production was incredible. You can really see what makes a good show amazing and it really don’t have to be some deep plot, The feeling in camera shots (especially in NC scenes) and that you can really feel the actors love their roles and the environment they are working in is making this show stand out.
I hope DMD will deliver us more of these masterpieces and I’m here (un)patiently waiting for another TeeTeePor project.

"Duang With You Series": A Literal Masterpiece ?✨ (Rate: 1000/10)
Tbh, waiting for Saturday nights just to watch this has been the ultimate routine. It’s easily one of the best BL series out there. The plot flows so beautifully—it’s calm, cozy, yet hits you right in the feels. It literally teaches you about friendship, family, love, and what it truly means to love someone consistently, all while blending the perfect amount of comedy and angst. 🥺🤍The production value? Beyond unmatched. The acting, visuals, casting (even the resemblance between family members is spot on!), cinematography, and the OSTs are all top-tier. Every single detail like the clock, apartment pins, color palette, background music, and outfits were so thoughtfully planned. Not a single boring episode. 💯
Huge thanks to Duangqin, TeeTeePor, P’Kla, the writer, and the entire cast and crew for creating such an incredible masterpiece. Duang With You will always hold a special place in my heart. See you in the next project, TeeTeePor 🤝🌟

TEETEEPOR
The whole show was amazing and the cast and acting was so good. I‘ve rewatched it so much and I love it. There wasn’t anything I don’t like about it and I love how each character is portrayed. I love the plot and I‘m so happy that the lead is Teeteepor. This is easily in my top 3 favorite Tdramas and I hope people continue to watch and love the show! Was this review helpful to you?
Infectious Cute Aggression
I'll be very honest and say that within the first and second eps of this series I was watching it begrudgingly because I didn't really expect much from it. The bar was low concept wise, nothing new and/or amazing. And yet DWY managed to do something very few series have managed to do. It stayed consistent and true to its concept and exceeded the bars that were set and made us feel all the things while they were at it. This is a clear case of don't judge a book by its cover imo, because the story itself lands perfectly upon the heart and makes you wish for it to never end.
TeeTee made this series what it was, his infectious mannerisms and believable down-badism as Duang literally were the defining points of this series. Por also did well, and the later half of the series we were able to see his acting chops shine through as Qin's walls came down. Together they are magic, because they provide what the other is lacking and the balance is wonderful.
This series made me swoon, cry, and laugh so much.
This is easily a top favorite of 2026 and is soooo recommended.

lighthearted romance
this is the type of bl that you just continuously get cuteness aggression from. its just adorable, a little cringe to some, but adorable regardless. i think the golden retriever top and black cat bottom trope is adorable. there is angst, but the littlest bit, and its resolved. miscommunication, even when there is, its all communicated healthily. its one of those comfort dramas you rewatch when you feel down. Was this review helpful to you?
side characters have stronger story appeal
i was excited for this series going into it and massively enjoyed the first two episodes but i’ve lost interest for the main pairing by the end of episode 5. I did read some of the novel to get an idea on the characters and storyline. Five episodes in and not much has progressed with the main pairing, it feels like i’ve watched the same episode five times. While I know it’s still technically relatively early in the series, I’m slightly bored and find myself skipping a bit. I’m much more fond of the secondary characters and their interactions with each other. If I pick up the next episode it will be to see what lies ahead for Duang’s friends vs Duang & Qin.Was this review helpful to you?
