The Plot and the "Cringe" Factor
Great Cast, Too Much Cringe:The biggest hurdle of the series is its script and comedic timing. The show frequently relies on over-the-top tropes, cartoonish sound effects, and highly exaggerated reactions. For many viewers, the sheer amount of second-hand embarrassment is overwhelming. There are multiple scenes where the dialogue and behavior of the characters feel so forced that it genuinely makes you cringe and want to look away from the screen. Instead of feeling sweet or funny, the romance often crosses into exhausting territory due to how childishly it is written.

"NOT THE BEST BUT STILL GOOD"
P'Kla once said before releasing the show "this show is not unique, unlike the others, its the typical one, it is not the best but still good"P'Kla was right, this show is your typical college BL romance; your typical 'they met before', your typical 'he fells first but he fell harder', the typical setting in BL romance you could watch. But one thing I must say is that how well written this show is, how complex the characters are written but deeply manifested, how well the romance that you start admiring the non-toxic environment the story is. No other plot holes, no other plot twists or any toxic spice, just pure sugar and sweetness, a balance of taste and slice of life, it was duang and qin's lovelife and how they are so compatible with each other. Even friendships are written best, with all those proper communication and consents. The music in the show isn't cringe at all, how I love to watch them sing and it fits so right, the castings are perfectly matched and of course, bow down to the first series of teeteepor as they made duang and qin alive and real.
Yes, its the typical BL romance but that makes this series an addicting one, the flow is just crazy, it was so well done. If I will be asked to watch it again, I would love too, it is rewatchable, no cringe moments, just pure and genuine love, I can't explain how this series made me love college romance in BL again, they hooked me in. Domundi delivered, they create the most unexpected series plotting ever.
Yes, its not unique. Yes, its not the best, BUT STILL GOOD.

amazing masterpiece series BL 2026
If you're still thinking whether to watch this drama or not... just watch it!!! Don't hesitate! This drama is truly amazing, trust me 🙏🏻.. First, I watched the official pilot episode and I was already interested in the storyline.. but after the edited trailer was released on YouTube, oh my gosh I was so excited!! DWY is a masterpiece that is suitable for entertainment because while watching I was very entertained by the behavior of Duang, Jamie, and Pae.. their friendship is really amazing and silly 😆, Then how the director portrayed the character development, I really liked it. Duang is a very nice guy. Even the OST is all good, like a musical drama 💕, details like the room design and the furniture I also like, even the basic manners of all the characters too, Duangqin makes the chemistry become a natural and adorable couple. The good rating for this drama is indeed deserved. Thank you to the director's efforts in making this series as good as possible, he also made the supporting actors with effort because the supporting actors are already well-known in the entertainment industry too.. so I enjoyed this seriesWas this review helpful to you?

I'm Prepared To Love You With Everything I Have
At first glance, it looks like just another college BL series light, fluffy, easy. But that assumption doesn’t last long.Duang With You doesn’t just stay in the safe lane of cute storytelling, (it is cute and cringe at times) it quietly deepens, pulling you into something far more emotional than you expected. What starts as simple college fluff turns into something that lingers. Something addictive.
It’s a delicate balance of warmth and heartbreak. One moment, you’re laughing at Duang’s chaotic charm and trio… and the next, you’re hit with emotions you didn’t see coming.
And loving Qin? That was never going to be easy. But when Duang said, “I’m prepared to love you with everything I have,” it wasn’t just a line it was a promise. He kept his word to the Tee😁
What makes it even more entertaining are the details. The kind you almost miss if you’re not paying attention like Qin vs. the music room stickers, the quiet way he stares out the window at home… echoes of a past where he was fed mud as a child.
If you're looking for fluff with slice of life, this is definitely for you.
The OSTs are absolute bangers.
The acting? Amazing.
The only real problem with the series… is that it ended.

The Best Show I Have Seen
I dont usually take the time to review a series but this one deserves it. One of the best series I have seen. The storyline had so much more depth than I ever imagined. I found myself laughing, kicking my feet, and at time even cryingnalong with these characters. TeeTeePor didnt just bring their characters to life, they became them. TeeTeePor's chemistry is unmatched. All the side characters are hilarious. Every week was boost of serotonin. I am not ready to close the book on Qin and Duang yet. To anyone considering watching this and who might stumble upon this review please watch it! The OSTs are also fantastic, the production, the acting, hell everything is top tier. This show will always and forever hold a special place in my heart that I know I will always come back to. It is my new comfort series and I will miss Saturday morning episodes being released so much. This show is a perfect 10/10. Amazing. 👏👏👏Was this review helpful to you?

Duang and Qin’s love lays bare the full spectrum of emotions
Duang and Qin are two of the best-written and best-acted characters in BL in a long time. Duang is extra in every sense of the word, but is also the most sincere and loving person out there. Qin's cold exterior is matched later by the warmth long hidden inside him. Teetee and Por don't just act, they manage to create characters whose love you want to believe will last forever. We go through a long journey of learning, change, and growth with Duang and Qin. The conflicts are handled smartly instead of being dragged on. I especially love Qin's confrontation with his parents as it's messy and emotionally charged, with years of pent-up emotions spilling out. The friend groups play an important role in Duang and Qin's story.
Duang and Qin feel like a real young queer couple, with positive sex talks, plenty of cuddles and kisses, small conflicts that are resolved by proper communication, visits to parents, and loads of other moments that will make you clutch your pillows.
I'm quite indifferent towards NC scenes in BLs nowadays since they are there to fill a quota. However, the NC scenes in this show are well-earned, well-choreographed, and serve a narrative purpose. I love the ep 7 shower scene as it perfectly builds yearning and desire into a beautiful display of raw emotions.
The music in this show is a highlight, from the custom BGM frequently exclaiming Duang and Qin to the entire album of beautiful OSTs.
To conclude, this show will make you feel every emotion on the spectrum, and in the end, you'll believe maybe true love like this exists somewhere.

I WILL REWATCH THIS MASTERPIECE AGAIN
I tend to not have high expectations when im watching light hearted shows. But this one really stick to me. It blown away even my highest one.I liked everything about this show: acting, pacing, storylines, cinematography, everything.
It's perfect example how college romances should be done. And casting was perfect.
Every single actor did great. I even read novel because i couldn't endure the wait between episodes. But i have to praise Por and Tete the most. They lived the characters. I couldn't imagine who except them would do characters justice as they did. I can't wait to see them in more projects. They deserve everything and beyond.

What really makes the series stand out is its characters. They feel lively and genuine, and their interactions are often funny, a little chaotic at times, but always charming. You can tell a lot of care went into building their dynamics, which makes it easy to get attached to them.
Visually, it’s also a treat: fresh colors, a pleasant style, and a pacing that never drags. Everything feels smooth and easy to watch, making it perfect for binge-watching or just unwinding after a long day.
In short, Duang With You is feel-good entertainment at its best—light, cozy, and genuinely fun to watch. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the mood for something that will leave you smiling. 😊

I have nothing to say apart WOW!!??
I'm literally sobbing because this series is just amazing I'm gonna miss it...😭😭Duang With You is the kind of BL that doesn’t just tell a love story it wraps around your heart and stays there. From the very first moments to the final scene, it feels soft, genuine, and effortlessly beautiful. There’s no forced awkwardness, no secondhand embarrassment just pure chemistry and emotions that feel real.
The relationship grows in such a natural way that you find yourself completely invested, blushing at the smallest moments and holding onto every interaction. Duang, as a character, brings warmth and sincerity, making it impossible not to fall in love with his story. Qin on the other hand adds this calm, charismatic energy that balances everything perfectly, and together they just work.
But what really elevates the series is everything around them. Duang’s friends are incredibly supportive, bringing joy, laughter, and a sense of comfort that makes every scene feel alive. Their presence isn’t just background it’s part of the heart of the story. Even the families and side characters feel genuine, like everyone is rooting for their happiness, and that makes the whole world feel safe and warm.
And TeePor… unforgettable. There’s something about them in the series that makes every scene feel alive and comforting at the same time.
What makes this series special is how it leaves you feeling full, happy, and a little broken because you know it’s over. It’s not just a show you watch; it’s one you feel, and one you’ll carry with you long after the last episode ends.
A BL that doesn’t make you cringe, only makes your heart race. Truly unforgettable.

HOW is this show this good??
Duang With You is a show where you read the description and maybe decide it's a little generic - in a college setting, one guy is pursuing another in hopes to make him fall in love. I think this plot has been done a million times before in a million of mediocre ways. However this show is NOT one of these overdone college romances with no substance. This show FULLY explores these characters, their fears and hesitations, their insecurities, and how their feelings for each other develop over the course of the show. This show is so beautifully done that now that I have finished it I want to go back and rewatch it from the beginning just to experience it again!Duang (Teetee) is a design major who, after seeing Qin (Por) perform a song at their school's Freshy Night festival, immediately falls head over heals. Qin is used to the attention of people - and rejects them immediately, every time. Duang is determined to pursue Qin though and (as long as Qin is okay with everything) will do whatever it takes to win him over. When the two are forced to work together for a performance, Duang sees the perfect opportunity to get closer to Qin, and while Qin is reluctant at first, he quickly notices how pure Duang's intentions are and decides to see how long Duang is willing to treat him this good.
Wow. WOW. The acting, the directing, the writing.....all of it was incredible!! I could not stop kicking my feet and laughing at this show. It's cute, it's silly, and it's got some perfectly balanced trauma and heartache to go along with it. No stupid miscommunication conflicts that take three episodes to figure out for no reason - everything in this show felt like it had a purpose in developing the characters and their relationship. Teetee and Por did a FANTASTIC job as these characters, and I think that Duang may go down as one of my favorite BL characters ever. The side characters really helped to keep the mood goofy and light when needed, and I really enjoyed all of their storylines too - but truly, the focus of the show is on Teetee and Por as Duang and Qin, and I never for a MINUTE got bored of these two. I cannot wait to see what the actors do next!! I don't think I could possibly recommend this show enough; you just have to watch it to understand the hype!!

Completely wholesome First Love story!
Oh my what a run! I just finished the final episode 12, easily by far the best episode of the series, and I feel one of the best final episodes of any BL series I can recall. It was like bathing in a warm sun of bliss! But let's get back to the start. I remember some people dismissed the show early on, especially for Duang's (TeeTee) hyperactive childish acting. But in hindsight, Duang was one of the most interesting and loveley characters developments I have yet seen. From a wild puppy overwhelmed with love, changing Qin (Por), one who through deep trauma in his childhood had closed up entirely, Duang being a reliable support and maturing in his care for Qin, I felt this was one of the most interesting changes of both characters, without entirely breaking them up, but showing how fist love changes people and how both grew together organically.
All actors were a feast for the eyes, great acting, and no scene felt needlessly and nothing missing either. I know, university and high school first loves are a bit overplayed by now, but this one I admit felt like a whole new level. I could feel the actors gave their all, and two different characters finding together with a lovely support crew, I am glad I didn't give up and felt thoroughly rewarded with a wholesome series, hoping we see TeeTee and Por for many years yet to come. With a good soundtrack and especially main theme, two experienced singers and dancers, some drama overcome together and an ending both mature and fantastic, I have no hesitation to award this series with
10/10
Memorable breakthrough!
