Dumb and Dumber Husbands in Action!
THIS WAS HILARIOUS!Hwang Choongshik, a police officer working in the narcotics division, finally catches the drug lord Ma Dojun. but, his success doesn’t last long. shortly after the capture of Ma Dojun, Dojun’s wife ends up kindapping Chungshik’s ex-wife Sinae and their daughter. Sinae’s current husband finds out about this incident. both husbands decide to go on a mission to rescue their wife and daughter. CHAOS ENSUES!!
just from the opening shot of the movie alone, where we get to see a bunch of physics and chemistry tattoos on some prisoner’s back, i knew this is gonna be hilarious 😂 and it did not disappoint! I’ve lost count of how many times it made me laugh out loud 😂
Gong Myung as the current husband was absolutely amazing! this year is Gong Myung’s year it seems🥹 he killed it with Filing For Love, and he didn’t disappoint here either 💕 Jin Sunkyu as the cop ex-husband was also perfect. the villains also did a great job. honestly, every single character was hilarious 😂
if you’re looking for something entertaining to watch this weekend, give this a shot!

"Cringe Pro Max Thriller"
The film relies on predictable buddy-cop clichés that offer very few narrative surprises.It suffers from jarring tonal shifts, awkwardly bouncing between goofy slapstick and a serious kidnapping.The pacing slows to a crawl during the second act, killing the film's comedic momentum.
A thin script leaves the talented supporting cast and villains feeling flat and underutilized.
Fortunately, the electric chemistry and chaotic bickering between Jin Seon-kyu and Gong Myung salvage the watch.

If you just want to switch your brain off and have a good time for two hours, this is it.
Don't go in expecting a lot of logic, because that's not what the movie is aiming for. It's weird, chaotic, and completely committed to the bit.Jin Sun-kyu is an absolute comedic genius here. Almost every character is bizarre in their own way, but they're all so entertaining that I somehow ended up rooting for every single one of them and their ridiculous agendas.
And underneath all the chaos, the movie is surprisingly obsessed with love. Pretty much every character is motivated by some form of it, and that's what ties all the madness together.

Funny movie
This was a fun, escapist watch. I especially liked how the balance of power kept switching from one person to another. The interactions between all the characters were so funny. The action scenes were so well-choreographed, and most were very funny as well, which was good for me, because action isn't exactly my favorite genre.I had to score this lower because of the excessive cursing, which really bothers me - but if you aren't bothered by it, give this movie a try, because otherwise, it's quite enjoyable.
I do have to say, the cameo at the end really confused me. It seemed very random.

Two husbands, one mission, tons of chaos
Husbands in Action is the most random idea that came to you one random afternoon, and you decided to take it and run with it, because why not?! The setup is stupid and brilliant at the same time, and it should work.(It most definitely does)
The premise is very new, Hwang Chun Shik and Lee Min Seok (played to perfection by Jin Sun Kyu and Gong Myung, by the way) don't like each other very much, considering they are the ex and current husband of Si Nae, and fathers to Yeon Ju. But they are suddenly pulled into action together when the two women are kidnapped by Hye Ran, the wife of Ma Do Jun, a gangster who was recently arrested by Chun Shik.
The plot goes exactly how you would expect it to - it's so hilariously predictable that it's actually charming. There's no out of character actions, no huge plot twists. It's supposed to be a funny buddy comedy, the writers knew that and the crew executed it exactly that way.
To that end, Jin Sun Kyu and Gong Myung carried this for me. Their chemistry and comedic timing was always perfect, and they played off each other incredibly well.
The rest of the characters were occasionally hilarious, sometimes not but because of how quickly the plot moved, it was very easy to just move along with it and ignore the punchlines and jokes that didn't land. That is a perfect summary - it's funny, but it's easy to ignore even when it's not.
Overall, it's a good movie to spend a lazy afternoon with, the kind of movie doesn't take itself way too seriously and doesn't really leave a huge impact, but worth a watch.

Family Action
This is a prime example of "Netflix and chill"—a mindless action comedy that isn't made to win awards but to entertain viewers. I am actually surprised to see that the quality of Korean movies on Netflix is steadily increasing. This movie is filled with many talented actors who light up the screen with their charisma and personality every time they appear. The director made a real effort to give everyone a chance to shine in their role. For me personally, the highlight was a gangster Rambo—I just laughed every time he was on screen.The comedy mostly consists of silly gags. I could predict many of the jokes before they even happened, but they were still funny. I also liked the final action scene. Usually, the finale is just a generic shootout where the good guys are the last ones standing, but here it was made memorable with plenty of comedy. My only complaint is too many F bombs.
So, being a forgettable action comedy is actually a good thing in this case, because I'll be able to forget the movie and then enjoy it again on a repeat viewing.

Overall, a lighthearted movie to watch with your family. The car scenes were my favorite. It was a surprise to see Yoona😍It’s not the kind of movie you overanalyze or write long reviews about. You either had fun or you didn't

Guys Day Out
The premise of the movie is quite exciting and, as promised in the trailer, it delivers exactly that: an ex-husband and a current husband working together to rescue their wife and daughter after a kidnapping. In fact, it offers even more than expected, with a third husband joining the mix and a surprisingly entertaining villain, making for a fun ensemble of personalities.The best part of the movie is the acting. Both the lead and supporting cast fully commit to their roles and clearly seem to be having a great time.
The execution has its ups and downs. The film actually does a good job of giving most of its characters meaningful backstories, to the point where you may even find yourself rooting for the villain at times. However, it is surprisingly selective about which relationships it chooses to show rather than tell.
The ex-husband gets a moment that establishes his bond with the daughter, allowing the audience to become invested in their relationship. Other characters are also given scenes that help flesh them out. Oddly, the current husband despite being one of the film's central characters is largely defined through dialogue and exposition. We hear about his role within the family, but rarely get to see it for ourselves. As a result, one of the movie's most important relationships feels less developed than it could have been.
That criticism aside, the film is well acted, genuinely funny, and packed with entertaining action sequences. The plot is fairly predictable and perhaps a little too ambitious for what it ultimately delivers, but it remains an enjoyable watch.

The Perfect Movie for an Evening
To be honest, I didn't think I'd end up watching this movie. But after seeing a TikTok video with Yoona, I decided to give it a try and I’m so glad I did! The whole movie is filled with that signature Korean humor: simple, sweet, and genuinely funny, without feeling forced or fake.The chemistry between the characters is great, and there are plenty of hilarious moments. If you're looking for something lighthearted and positive, I highly recommend it. It's a very easy watch. It might not be the kind of movie that stays with you forever, but it's 100% guaranteed to put you in a great mood.

Entertaining movie/good enough to watch
I’ve become someone who pays attention to a lot of small details in movies which has made me dislike a lot of movies I watch but I don’t want to judge it based on that. The movie is entertaining and if you’re someone who enjoys Korean comedy it’ll give you exactly what you’re looking for.In my opinion it was a bit stupid at times, there were a lot of unnecessary cuts in the movie (the one i remember the most is when they were performing a surgery in the van and the shot was on the new husband and there was like a random cut in the middle of his monologue) also a lot of things made zero sense like how they suddenly found a rope to resuce ma dojun and how they had a parachute out of nowhere to rescue the daughter. i’m assuming this movie relied a lot on absurdism and satire comedy but then it also had stupid jokes that were corny so i guess i wouldn’t really call it a comedy (up to my standards) i laughed maybe like max. 2/3 times during the movie, the rest was pretty corny.
it wasn’t the type of movie that had me hooked or made me sooo excited to find out what happens next but it was good for my boredom i guess?
also i have no idea what happened with the police, they made it such a big deal about them coming to resuce everyone after 3 hours and then they don’t even show up in the end but it just ends with the sound effect of police which also makes zero sense cause they were in the middle of the sea so how could they have heard it from there 😭 maybe i’m just nitpicking right now but like i said, small details are something i pick up on usually.
but i’m actually excited for the gangsters wife! the ending was super cool with her walking in like a badass..so i’m assuming there will be a part2 of the movie. i’m not sure if i’ll be watching but maybe if my boredom gets the best of me i’ll make sure to tune in.

It worked really well!
I LOVED this way more than I thought I would. The story was straightforward and the acting top notch. The themes of marriage, family, friendship was finely balanced plus the action and HILARITY topped it off !!All the actors had great chemistry, and I loved the surprise guest at the end, looking forward to part 2. This worth watching if you are looking for a fun, action, funny, light movie.

Comedy that isn't even funny.
This show is so advertised that it's incredible how underwhelming it is.When it comes to the comedy aspect, not sure if this can make people laugh more than 3/4 during the movie.
Dialogs are boring, the story is uninteresting and the characters are very lacklustre for something that is called "comedy".
