Three Stars

Heo Nam Jun was so good this episode. Emotionally, so very well done. I mean this is a throw away ep so it is what it is but Nam Jun, I cannot speak more highly of. Mun Do didnt get the karma he deserved.

Beautiful ending

Love that Segye and Seori could find their way back to each other in modern times! 🥰 It was great that we got to see a lot of the early-episode Seori—a fighter and a teeny-tiny bit crazy, not the damsel in distress we had to deal with for a lot of the middle part of the drama. 💪🤪Gwangnam becoming Jihyo's saviour and later even her manager was all I needed! 👏😌 Finally, she came around. However, her attitude throughout the drama was actually one of the main reasons that helped Gwangnam grow into the man he was by the end. 🤗What a wonderful love story with a beautiful ending! A particular joy for me was watching just how lovesick Segye always was. 🤭❤️

Too short!

This should have been 16 episodes! It felt like the progression at the end was hurried. The extra that spray painted the wall seemed out of place like there was supposed to be an episode for that but it got cut. Also felt there should have been a building of the relationship of Grand prince and the “other” FL and not just a scene where they are happy and leaving together. I also wish there was closure for the assistant. Like a well deserved PTO at last with his cat or something. It’s like he was fogotten on the last episode.

my second ten for our cute as hell finale

i am laughing at how segye got his permanent hair upgrade for this last episode. also why did netlfix translate this last episode title as my royal nemesis... it doesn't make sense.... yes it's how they translated the title of the show but i wish they gave a literal translation for the last episode title.

this series really shines due to the strength of im ji yeon and heo nam jun as our main couple. they truly make the show. overall, the last episode was quite satisfactory. i mean if you think about the whole past part too hard then there will DEFINITELY be bumps, but it served its purpose for the story, which is to wrap up the joseon era completely. also gurl it's like 3 am and i'm simply floating on the sweetness of this finale. our side characters got a few nods. our villain got his comeuppance. if the end felt too sweet then that's chiefly because this is a romcom. it would be a whole different story if the genre was melo or tragedy. luckily for us, the romcom pulled through in the end.
