would you sacrifice your life out of love
Ma Xiaoyu us so perfect for the role of a bodyguard, tall, burly, and adorable, a double door fridge who's wide and thick.in the first part of the series , the male lead is so pent up he has too 😁 except for one dream kiss between the male and female leads in the first 17 episode, its an female lead teasing his loyal, devoted bodyguard 😁 Ma Xiaoyu was fantastic! as the second lead as the intimidating underworld boss in "xuauniu" smoking one cigar after another, his brother- sister bond with the female lead is so great. everyone has their wits about them, and there are so many kissing scenes between the second male and female leads. i love this cp too. the directors filming of their kisses absolutely amazing. finally i have to praise the director the make up and styling its brilliant. a treasure of a director every outfit and make up look for the female lead is gorgeous. and in the last episode i cried a lot but this drama is happy ending i really like this story! the acting skills is goosebumps especially Ma Xiaoyu you he's the best im so proud of you Ma Xiaoyu keep shining my love pls watch this drama you will love it! i recommend this drama#maxiaoyu

Just love Ma Xiaoyu’s acting here — his performance is absolutely captivating! The way he delivers emotions through subtle expressions and natural gestures is truly impressive. Every scene he appears in feels alive and heartfelt. His character development is beautiful, and he perfectly portrays both the strength and vulnerability of the role. I couldn’t take my eyes off his performance — so real, so touching, and full of depth. ❤️🔥👏Was this review helpful to you?

The most irrelevant male lead of all time who became a side character in his own story
I’m gonna keep this brief because this was a pile of absolute garbage. ML IS USELESS PATHETIC WEAK AND RIDICULOUS AND I CAN’T EVEN BE BOTHERED TO TALK ABOUT HIM SO I’M GONNA TALK ABOUT THOSE AROUND HIM . Gu family were top of the food chain until they got betrayed and everything that should’ve been there’s ended up becoming the Qin families. Fast forward and ML becomes bodyguard to the Qin family sister and evil brother is the head of the family. Seven years of humiliation, torture and beatings for our male lead because it’s all part of his great scheme to get revenge on those who slaughtered his family.. turns out the perpetrators of this horrific abuse are the FL who he has fallen in love with and the evil brother. Fast forward some more when it turns out the evil brother and love rival were responsible for the massacre the female lead cries a little bit and says sorry and all is forgiven and they live happily ever after.. WHAT THE ACTUAL……?Was this review helpful to you?

Great Aesthetics, Terrible Writing: Don't Blindly Trust the 10/10 Ratings
It has been a long time since I last wrote a review. However, seeing this drama flooded with perfect 10s forced me to share a more realistic perspective.Let’s be honest from the start: we can all agree that Ma Xiao Yu is incredibly attractive and a talented actor. But a hot lead does not automatically equal a 10-star masterpiece.
Good:
Visuals and ActingStunning Aesthetics: The sets and clothing are absolutely on point throughout the show.
Solid Cast: The main actors are highly attractive and deliver genuinely good performances.
Standout Supporting Role: The brother's girlfriend is an amazing character who shows true internal strength.
The Bad: Toxic Dynamics and Weak Writing
The actual storyline is complete trash. It is incredibly difficult to find any redeeming qualities in the Female Lead (FL). She hires the Male Lead (ML) as her bodyguard, yet constantly does whatever she wants, fully aware that he will bear the consequences. To make matters worse, her toxic brother exploits the fact that the ML cannot say "no" to the FL, using it as an excuse to brutally torture him.
The romance is equally unconvincing. The show expects the audience to believe in a deep, lifelong love between the leads, but the FL's character portrays absolutely no genuine affection. While she is supposed to be fiercely loyal to her brother, her actions in setting the ML up were simply too much to forgive.
The Verdict: Dragged Out and Disappointing
The plot is heavily padded, repeatedly recycling the exact same scenarios over and over. To top it all off, the ending is awful and completely unrewarding. Enjoy the visuals and the acting, but lower your expectations for the script.
