My Bias, My Boss

The two share similar concepts: someone working at an agency and a relationship with an idol or celebrity.

Both dramas feature energetic, highly expressive female leads navigating feelings of imposter syndrome or intense secrecy. Just as Im Joo-kyung goes to great lengths to hide her bare face and past school struggles in True Beauty, My Bias, My Boss's Nam Da-reum has to navigate the tightrope of hiding her intense, multi-year fangirl history from a suspicious boss while trying to make a professional impression.

Additionally, in True Beauty, the heroine is caught between two distinct male archetypes (the brooding, internally vulnerable bad boy Lee Su-ho and the warm, fiercely loyal Han Seo-jun). Similarly, My Bias, My Boss places its lead character in a playful dilemma between her long-admired idol "bias" (Lee Chan) and her prickly, workaholic CEO boss (Kang Ha-gi).

Both female leads are hardcore idol fangirls who unexpectedly (or very expectedly so) end up falling for their own bosses.

Lovely Runner is a great recommendation for fans of My Boss, My Bias because both dramas feature a K-pop idol and a female lead who is a devoted fan and part of the idol’s fandom. Both explore the emotional connection between a fan and her favorite idol, with romance developing around that relationship. While Lovely Runner adds a time-travel and fantasy element, its fan–idol dynamic makes it a strong thematic match for viewers who enjoyed My Boss, My Bias.
-K-pop idol lore
-The female lead being a fan of a group.

FL was in love with an idol and was his fan
then worked with him / for him as his attorney
and yeah there is a love triangle

Both the dramas have the FL stuck between the idol she adores and another man who believes is also in BL love with her idol. The Day of becoming you has additional plots of soul swap but the love story is similar.

This drama has a similar office vibe, making it a great watch if you enjoy workplace romances. The office setting feels engaging, with a good balance of professional challenges, teamwork, and lighthearted moments. One of its biggest strengths is the green-flag male lead. He is respectful, supportive, emotionally mature, and always communicates honestly instead of creating unnecessary misunderstandings. The romance develops naturally through trust and mutual respect, making every interaction enjoyable to watch. The characters have great chemistry, and the story maintains a comforting, feel-good atmosphere throughout. Overall, it's a refreshing, heartwarming drama that is easy to recommend.
