Both deal with a couple struggling with mental illness and trauma. It’s about how each of them helps the other heal and overcome their individual trauma.
The main characters in both dramas are also quite eccentric and interesting in their own way.
Overall, the dramas have the same vibe, if you enjoyed one you will most likely enjoy the other!

- both concerns the residents of a typical multi apartment complex & they interact with each other
- the leads are temporarily unemployed due to mental health & wear comfortable clothes; therefore appearing lazy to others
- short & comedy is the driving force
- leads are 30-40s
MFEO is better & funnier than IHNDMB but I see a few similarities

Mad for each other seems more like a comedy at the beginning but gets more serious as the show progresses. Just Between Lovers is more melodramatic. Both shows have a love story about healing and people struggling with mental health issues. JBL shows PTSD and alcoholism while MFEO shows anger management issues, paranoia, PTSD and social anxiety.
