Ep1 keeps you wanting more
well, starting this I was excited for lengso comeback and I didn't think much about the concept but brooo.... it all made sense in ep1, the story telling, the production and everything keeps you at the edge of your seat, August, Leng, Fay, Thun, Napthvik, Vin, and the whole cast are doing an undeniably a good job, by ep1, you know right away that you're going to have a great time, CUU Thailand pulled this so well, they casted the right people and choose the perfect script, I hope they don't loose direction along the wayWas this review helpful to you?
Powerful first episode
This first episode was really powerful, a great beginning the production is really great and you can see they put budget on it, the cast is doing a great job you can clearly see the difference between the evil Gaew and the sweet hearted Dr Great. I watched the 2018 lakorn and at least for now I can say this new version is keeping up with the OG one they kept the 2018 lakorn vibe but it's also like seeing something new. I hope we can see more of evil Gaew and in the next episodes and also a little more of Dr Great and his friendship with Rit before the accident. Was this review helpful to you?

Another time travel to ancient Thailand- BL drama - about ok so far
I wanted to watch because firstly, I am a time-travel story-addict ever since IFYLITA left us hanging (going around in a never-to-be-found-closure loop I guess?)...secondly because I kinda like August (Addicted Heroine Thailand, Love Sick 2014) and feel that he never gets the really good roles...and thirdly, to support Leng who kinda got sidelined due to the hate he got for his pairing with OhmBL-Needle Score: 7 Reasonable BL-ness upcoming
A great doctor from the present times named Great, time travels to be in the body of Gaew (both played by Leng) an arrogant, and always angry orphan child of a noble man, who seems to be fuming all the time for no apparent reasons, or maybe there are reasons that we are yet to know....the guy ends up rubbing people the wrong way enough number of times for the guardians to unleash a deadly spell on him, which makes this soul swap happen...I'm not sure if Gaew's soul gets to inhabit the Great's body though....so episode one ends with the soul swap and the confused doctor waking up in Ayutthhaya kingdom times, with a whole lot of confusion and disbelief (Hello, IFYLITA, remember?)
This is directed by the same director as Interminable (which I didn't watch) and the Cursed Love (which I dropped). The script is not its strong point, the period effects are alright...but damn why do Thai dramas make the butterflies so damn fake even in this age of AI? First it was Flower Boy and now this one
Anyway, this could have made a cut if there weren't so many good shows airing...but right now, it looks difficult. I''m not dropping it as yet, will watch Ep 2 to decide.
Verdict: Maybe wait for a few more episodes to be out before deciding

Slow Beginning, Interesting Story, But….
I haven’t seen the original, so this review is just based on the BL series.I’ll start with the good parts, the story is interesting for sure, the first episode though, a little bit slow, but it makes sense, and viewers will probably be able to decide how to actually feel about the story after a few more episodes.
Plot is also a little bit cliche, but it’s a time-travel Lakorn BL and that should be expected. It doesn’t reduce the story’s quality though, I’m still excited to see what the next episodes would hold.
Now to, what I’ll call an unpopular opinion perhaps, I found the MC’s acting grating and really hard to watch in a way. I’m not sure if it’s just the first character he played (I won’t go into this to avoid spoilers) but the acting quality was poor.
Overall, so far, so good I’d say, I hope the acting improves (as he takes on a different character) in subsequent episodes. As we watch too, we’ll get to see how good the story would get.
For now, I’d still recommend it to anyone who’s contemplating watching. But don’t expect too much in this first episode.
(I’ll edit as I watch)

OKAY, I’M HOOKED!!
I swear, I loved the first episode. I waited so long for this series and it definitely didn’t disappoint. I love time travel plots so this series is perfectttt. Seeing Leng acting again and this time alongside August makes me so happy. 😭❤️I’m gonna be so anxious waiting for the next episodes. The plot is way too interesting, so I’m totally hooked. And it’s not just because I love Leng, I really love stories like this. So if you see my review, please give it a watch, I totally recommend it. I promise it won’t disappoint you.

First Impression: Love Destiny
Overall: the lakorn started lakorning. 10 episodes about 50 minutes each. I haven't read the books and am reviewing the series based on its own merits. Airing on iQIYI https://www.iq.com/play/love-destiny-episode-1-1ykiuvfo6os?lang=en_usContent Warnings: several in episode 1, keeping this spoiler free for now
What I Liked
- historical setting
- realistic doctor stress/burnout
- visuals
Room For Improvement
- the next episode preview looked like a lot of comedy which I struggle with in historical series
