Did You Know Weirdo 101 Has One Hell of a Gravitational Pull!!
Did you know that apparently the best way to flirt with someone is to hit them with astronomy facts which might sound random but actually carry the deepest metaphorical meanings? Because Cheewa certainly seems to think so and I don't disagree because Cheewa and his flirting skills have me tripping. I never knew Astronomy could be this romantic and cute.Niran and Cheewa are two opposites but somehow, these two end up finding each other in the most adorable and chaotic way possible. Like Cheewa said, "Raeng Rhom Thwang na kha (It's gravity)" and that's how everything begins with gravity, a jolt, a fall, a moment of eye contact, Cheewa's universal fact but he was basically just flirting... and me falling right along with Niran. One second Niran is just going about his ordinary life, and the next, gravity literally throws Cheewa into his orbit. And apparently, once Cheewa enters your orbit, there is absolutely no escaping him but honestly who would even want an escape.
What I love the most is the way Cheewa approaches Niran. He doesn't approach him like a typical romantic lead.. he approaches him with astronomy facts, random observations, the most adorably nerdy flirting imaginable, and those free hug khap... absolutely adorable. And trust me somehow, he makes all of it sound like the most natural and most romantic thing in the world. Also initially, Niran is genuinely clueless. He is listening to Cheewa explain all these random things about the universe without realizing that he himself is the subject of Cheewa's interest . And Cheewa .. oh Cheewa skipped approximately seventeen stages of flirting and went straight for the permission slip "Can I hit on you?" and that was everything. And that's when P'Niran finally gets it. Except now? He is such a poser. He KNOWS. He knows exactly what Cheewa is doing, he knows Cheewa likes him, and yet he still wants to stand there acting like he doesn't have feelings of his own. Sir, the evidence is overwhelming. The world stopped when Cheewa hugged you. 😆
Also, Niran is such a relatable character. His insecurities, his fears, his exhaustion, the way he's constantly burdened by expectations... everything about him feels painfully real. There's so much more emotional weight attached to it, and you can feel how something that once brought meaning to his life has gradually become something he feels trapped by. Beneath the romance and all the adorable moments, it's also about losing sight of yourself under the weight of expectations, trying to make peace with things that have shaped you, dealing with your own emotional struggles, and finding a way to take ownership of your life again.
As I described it, this might sound cliché, but trust me, it really isn't. The story takes something familiar and gives it its own charm, weaving astronomy into the romance in a way that feels fresh, clever, extremely cute and uniquely them. SeaKeen really brought CheewaNiran to life. They are the greenest flags I have ever seen and THE DIALOGUES. The dialogues are everything. They give me a whole damn zoo. 😭 It's so beautifully written that it hits.
And I absolutely love their friend circles too. Niran's bond with Hem, Thara, and Thipok is everything. There's such a natural warmth and familiarity between them. And then Cheewa with his two nerdy friends, Jomyut and Newton... PLEASE. The astronomy club really gathered an entire collection of adorable nerds.
Also when it comes to OSTs, SeaKeen's vocals never disappoint. Gravity has been playing on loop in my playlist with all of their other previous osts that I am still not over with.
I am so damn in love with this series and now I have to survive seven days until the next episode, which, frankly, feels like a violation of the laws of physics. T^T
Highly Recommended!! Also it's available on youtube. So please watch it there.

A cute series on its own, but...
Ever since the pilot trailer came out, I've been really excited for this one. And I really got hooked on it even after just watching the first episode, so much that I searched up the novel and started reading it right away. I got completely in love with the storyThat's why it was a bit dissapointing comparing it to the series, especially after watching not just the first but also the second episode of the series. I think the casting is perfect for this one I wouldn't complain about that one, but it feels like they water the story down a bit.
I'm a bit sad about the scene where Thara, Cheeta and Niran are in the astronomy club sitting on the ground. In the series only Thara rest his head on Niran's shoulders, but in the novel Niran also fall asleep and rest his head on Cheeta's shoulders. It would've been such a cute scene if they follow the novel. I really don't get it why would they change this?? I get it they can't completely follow the novel they must change some things, and I really don't mind when they change or skip something "unimportant" but when they change scenes like these it really gets me thinking what's on the screenplay writers' mind.
And the cafeteria scene in ep2?? It was cute but why is Cheeta going for the hug and not Niran pulling him into the hug. This is what I'm really missing in the series that they try to portray it as if only Cheeta was going for Niran. But in the novel you can tell that Niran is also whipped since day one and he's much bolder. His character still has so much depth in the series so I'm not complaining the script writers still did a good job. It's just that it could be still a bit better
Okay so my final conclusion is if you're thinking about reading the novel right now, DON'T. Don't do it while watching the series. The novel is literally a masterpiece, and the series is also really good on its own but my tip is that you should read the novel after finishing the series. Also please note this is my opinion only after seeing the first 2 episodes. This series definitely has a lot of potential, can't wait to see what the full picture end up being

Give this some time, it'll grow on you...and yes, Keen-Sea are really magical when together
This show is indeed like gravity, you are not particularly impressed or thrilled with it at first, but it keeps pulling you nevertheless...I was so happy to see my pookies Keen-Sea back with a show, but was borderline disappointed with the first two episodes where the script seems rather bland......but episode 3 was a game changer....I upped my score and will keep watching...this drama is a grower, give it some time...🥰BL-Needle Score: 8.5 High BL-ness
Keen-Sea really are magical when together, and I just changed my review after episode 3....I am particularly impressed by Sea....he's really acing the nerd-neurodivergent-kind younger guy in love - act....and the ways that we see Niran very slowly melt away to Cheewa's transparent attempts at hitting on him, is plain adorable.....
Verdict: Yes, watch!

First impression
You can watch it on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKSScKG6XtloIt's honestly great so far, the acting is good, I like the plot, and overall it's just giving a typical nice school BL.
Episode 1:
* The start was quite slow, but then it became much better, in my opinion, and I really liked how the episode ended.
* I love the characters that Sea and Keen are playing and the contrast between them. It feels a bit weird/unusual to see Sea playing more of a nerdy character, but he is definitely doing a great job so far, and I am definitely liking it.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this episode and am excited to see more.
Episode 2:
* Great episode. Not much to talk about here, but I really enjoyed it and want to see more.
Episode 3:
* Sea and Keen's characters are honestly so adorable in this series, they definitely have great chemistry.
* The little kiss thing that they did with their fingers is so cute.

Good Acting, Interesting Plot, and There’s More…
When I saw the two boys, (loved them in Only Boo) I knew I was going to love this one, did they disappoint? NO.Just finished the first episode and what can I even say? I absolutely enjoyed watching this one. The storyline is interesting and the actors are executing the plot really well.
Both actors are eating their roles up, I have really big expectations for coming episodes.
You want to watch it? YOU SHOULD.

SeaKeen forever!!!
I genuinely enjoy their acting coz they are so natural, from teasing to loving. It just been only one ep yet I can feel the chemistry and Cheewa confessing so uniquely "I am not just into planets, I am into you too" was so good. I also noticed that Narin loved to tease Cheewa as he was a nerd and took every joke so seriously. But seriously, seeing Sea as a cute nerd boy who just found his first love, trying to get close to Keen is a new form of him. I have a huge expectation from this series as I know their acting will never disappoint.
Also Cheewa not being shy and directly asking Narin directly if he can hit on him, oml!!!!
This review is based on my personal experience after watching first ep.

Was this review helpful to you?
