You Maniac is already a masterpiece!!!
After nearly 2 years of waiting for a new lead series from WilliamEst, YouManiac has blown all my expectations apart and its only the first episode!!First of all I love their character dynamics so much. We have Dean who seems like a very warm, outgoing and easy person, picking up flings wherever he goes and getting away with anything with just a cheeky smile😂. I mean he even managed to set up a table with three of his exes and they all had a good time! Who else could pull that?😂😂
But I help but feel like there's some coldness underneath all that and he doesn't seem to really let any one in. I think he's hiding his real self.
Looking over to Moth, he's just fabulous 👌. Gorgeously cold and haughty, just how i like my bottoms🤭🤭. Emotionally unavailable and rude about it as well. I'm so sat for him.
Couldn't help but notice that his friend's overbearingness is pushing him towards Dean, against his better judgement as he knows how much of a whore Dean is but he cant help falling into the pit😂😂 I hope we get to see some corrupted tropes even if its a little. I eat that shit up like its desert🤭
Feel like I've already said too much but in summary its a banger, I will definitely be tuning in to the next episodes and WilliamEst's chemistry is absolutely electric!!!! The way they kiss and look at each other when they kiss is just uggggghhh😩😩😩😩

Please watch EP1
Watching Episode 1 of You Maniac felt like diving headfirst into a whirlwind of emotions. From the very first scene, I was hooked by William and Est’s (WilliamEst) dynamic — Dean’s playful charm had me smiling, while Moth’s icy exterior pulled me in with intrigue. Their chemistry wasn’t just good, it was magnetic; every glance and clash between them carried this delicious tension that made me lean closer to the screen. I’ll admit, a couple of moments felt a bit stiff in terms of acting, but honestly, that didn’t matter because the energy between them more than made up for it. The visuals were stylish, the pacing kept me engaged, and I walked away from the premiere feeling like I’d just witnessed the start of something messy, addictive, and impossible to look away from. For me, WilliamEst are the heartbeat of this series, and I can’t wait to see how their complicated relationship unfolds. Was this review helpful to you?
This is a Must Watch Series!
You Maniac caught me by surprise because beneath the attractive leads and obvious chemistry, there is actually a really interesting character setup developing here. What I liked most about this show is that the two leads feel genuinely different from each other.
Moth is quiet, guarded and extremely selective about who he lets into his space. He seems very comfortable being on his own and has little patience for people whose intentions he doesn't trust. Dean, on the other hand, is outgoing, charming and completely comfortable around people. He has a much more casual attitude towards relationships and seems to enjoy keeping things uncomplicated.
So naturally, putting these two together is going to be… interesting. 😂
What really grabbed me was the way their attraction is handled. The show doesn't need to constantly announce “LOOK, THEY HAVE CHEMISTRY!” You can see it in the little moments—the way they notice each other, the lingering looks, the subtle changes in expression. There is an immediate pull between them that seems to catch both of them off guard.
And I particularly liked how much the actors communicate without dialogue. Est's portrayal of Moth is especially nuanced. Moth isn't simply the stereotypical cold, aloof character. There are little glimpses that suggest there is considerably more going on underneath that controlled exterior, and Est does a great job of letting us see those cracks without overplaying them.
William brings a completely different energy as Dean. He's naturally charismatic and playful, but there is enough restraint underneath that I'm curious to see what happens when his usual approach to relationships starts being challenged.
The thing I appreciate is that Episode 1 doesn't explain everything. We don't know all of these characters' histories yet, and there are clearly things beneath the surface that haven't been revealed. Instead of dumping all the answers on us immediately, the episode gives enough information to make you curious about what is actually driving them.
And that's what worked for me.
I'm not even trying to predict exactly where this story is going yet. I just want to see what happens when two people who seem to have very different ideas about relationships start getting under each other's skin.
The performances are good, the chemistry is there, the characters have enough contradictions to keep them interesting, and the story has already given me questions I want answered.
One episode in, and I'm definitely curious enough to keep watching.
If you like character-driven romances where the attraction isn't just about pretty people standing next to each other, give You Maniac a try. There's something interesting brewing here. 👀

WilliamEst is here to dominate with You Maniac Series
When I watched Episode 1 of You Maniac from GMMTV, I felt immediately pulled into the chaotic yet magnetic energy between Dean and Moth. WilliamEst’s performance stood out to me because the chemistry was so natural. Dean’s playful warmth clashed beautifully with Moth’s cold arrogance, and I found myself grinning at every sharp exchange. The supporting characters added layers of authenticity, making the world feel lived in rather than just a backdrop. What impressed me most was how the premiere balanced humor, tension, and emotional beats without ever feeling rushed. By the end, I wasn’t just curious about what would happen next. I was invested in these characters and their messy, unpredictable journey. Was this review helpful to you?

You Maniac Series EP1 has set the standard for me
Episode 1 of You Maniac opens with a disquieting energy that sets the tone for the entire chapter. The narrative wastes no time in immersing us in DeanMoth’s world, a place where brilliance and instability coexist in a fragile balance. Their characters are introduced not through exposition, but through moments of silence, erratic bursts of laughter, and piercing stares that suggest a mind constantly at war with itself. This choice of pacing allows the audience to feel his mania rather than simply observe it, making his portrayal both unsettling and magnetic.WilliamEst’s performance is the undeniable centerpiece. Every gesture, every flicker of expression carries weight, hinting at layers of vulnerability beneath the mania. Both of them emerges as a crucial counterbalance to one another. Their interactions are not just grounding but revelatory, offering glimpses of tenderness that contrast with his volatility. The supporting cast, though introduced briefly, adds texture to the narrative. Friends and side characters are sketched with quirks that promise deeper involvement in the unfolding drama, ensuring that no presence feels incidental.
Cinematography plays a vital role in amplifying the psychological tension. Tight close-ups on WilliamEst’s face capture the restless spark in his eyes, while wide, dizzying frames mirror the instability of his environment. The deliberate pacing, neither rushed nor overly explanatory allows the mania to breathe, creating an atmosphere where every silence feels heavy and every sudden outburst feels dangerous.
The cliffhanger at the end of Chapter 1 sets the stage for what promises to be a gripping continuation. Episode 2 seems poised to explore the push and pull of DeanMoth’s erratic choices, potentially exposing their craziness to the world. I anticipate sharper psychological confrontations. The series appears to be building toward a battle not only between characters but within DeanMoth’s own mind, a conflict that could define the trajectory of the entire narrative.
