Love moth character so much
I genuinely love Moth so much, and somehow I feel really relatable to him. There’s something so delicate and emotional about him that immediately pulled me in. And honestly, throughout the whole episode, I was completely hooked on Moth’s eyes. I don’t even know why, but I just couldn’t look away. 😭Moth is so pretty, so soft, yet there’s this hidden depth and intensity in him that makes him incredibly captivating. And Est’s acting brought all of that out so beautifully. The way he portrayed Moth’s emotions, his vulnerability, his little expressions and especially his eyes… it made Moth feel so real.And can we PLEASE talk about Moth in that white shirt??? He looked absolutely gorgeous and dangerously seductive without even trying. 🤭Est really brought Moth to life, and I’m already so attached to this character.

Who knew Red Flags could be so sexy?!
The long-awaited series from the insanely talented WilliamEst did NOT disappoint with its opening act. ❤️🔥Those of us who have watched WilliamEst in the iconic ThamePo and the adorably hilarious yet dramatically engaging Me and Thee / Peach & Me will attest to this: WilliamEst are among the most natural actors on the BL scene, and their chemistry, both reel and real, is unmatched. 👌🏼
And boy have they leveled up. BIG TIME!
Episode 1 gave us our first delicious taste of DeanMoth... wrapped in red flags, questionable decisions and enough chemistry to leave us begging for more.
Waiting for a new episode every Saturday is already proving to be both deeply frustrating and insanely rewarding!
To all my fellow drama lovers: ignore the genre label and just dive in. Enter the world of these unhinged modern-day characters who could very well be living among you and me only more entertaining and fascinating.
You will fall in love with YouManiac and its phenomenal lead pair before you know it!
Kudos to the entire team behind the camera and this fabulous cast for bringing this modern-day unfairytale to life! 👏🏼
Now excuse me while I wait impatiently for Saturday. 🥲

Queer as Folks Thailand…maybe
The much-awaited return of WilliamEst is finally here. Since their debut series, their popularity has skyrocketed, and the simultaneous world-wide release on Netflix, IQIYI, VIKI and GMMTV shows just how much they have helped define the rapidly expanding Thai BL industry. As Uncle Ben told Peter Parker, “With great power comes great responsibility.” The expectations placed upon these two are now enormous. For sure GMMTV brought out their big guns (and money) to produce this series.A breakout series may rely heavily on chemistry and production, but lasting success also depends on choosing the right script. As William and Est gradually move into more mature roles, You Maniac has the opportunity to prove that their appeal extends beyond the characters who made them famous.
The series enters Thailand’s openly visible gay culture through two opposing personalities…Dean, a seemingly open-book player, and Moth, who is far more guarded and reserved. It is a familiar pairing, told many times before, so I hope the writers develop them into something deeper than another hormone-driven gay romance. With its large ensemble of men navigating their own relationships, the series already reminds me of one of my favorite gay shows…the American version of Queer as Folk. Thankfully, WilliamEst were never trapped in high school roles, which should make their transition into this more adult world feel natural.
Perhaps I am asking too much after only one episode, but the potential is clearly there. If You Maniac can come even close to the emotional and sexual intensity of Queer as Folk, WilliamEst may finally break free from the shadows of Thame and Po…and begin defining who they truly want to become as actors.

Immense chemistry
A story that initially seems like it’s simply about two red flags turns out after two episodes to have so much more depth. The characters are layered, complex, and far more intriguing than they appear at first glance. And the chemistry between Dean and Moth? Absolutely immense.WilliamEst and BarcodeKin truly bring their characters to life, showing just how much acting talent they have through every look, expression and subtle emotion. The cinematography is stunning, the pacing keeps you hooked, and every scene feels intentional.
Beautifully written, brilliantly acted, visually gorgeous, and already impossible to look away from.

i wanna say the opening theme was really amazing and its stunned me so much.
they know how to control their micro expression in the scene especially when there's only eye contact

WORTH THE HYPE!
Being a William-Est fan, I've indeed been waiting for this series and had lots of expectations from it and thanfully enough it exceeded my expectations completely!Like the storyline at first I thought was like a romance between an introvert red flag x extrovert red carpet but seeing the 1st two episodes I realized it’s completely different like the way certain scenes are shot then the visuals and dialogues uffffff ofc there's humor in it as well also the face cards of all the actors are so much lethal gosh!
Now at first I thought of Moth to be a self-obsessed artist too full of himself and his looks but gradually after watching episode 2 and seeing his POV I realized my poor boy is too lonely also his thoughts about spending birthdays alone like I could relate to Moth so much T-T
Coming to Dean, he is a red flag who's a sweet talker like I legit fell for him since Episode 1 even though I'm team Moth like the way William portrayed the emotions and feelings of Dean especially the body language and his actions towards Moth kudos to William's acting as well like it is kinda hard yk for William as the characters he has played so far all of them were green flags <3
Coming to the OST — I AM LEGIT OBSESSED WITH IT LIKE I HAVE BEEN LISTENING TO IT ON REPEAT AND I JUST CAN'T STOP AISHHHHHHH >//♡//<
Overall, I am going to suggest any bl fan to watch this drama for it's a good one tbh like I won't say that it is a masterpiece but it deserves the hype and it’s a good watch like you won't feel bored at all yah the plot may be a bit cliché but the way the storyline proceeds and everything like it will make you eventually crave for more so yup hehe ^3^
P.S. —> I legit watched Episode 1 on the night before my exam (Update: It went well ^v^) and two minutes in — I SCREAMED LIKE AISHHHH so you have been warned *wink* *wink* also today's my birthday and I intentionally did not watch the episode yesterday just so that I could enjoy it today and trust me, at the end of Episode 2 I LEGIT SQUEALED SO HARD LIKE WHAT WAS THAT OMGGGG I mean throughout the episode I blushed and giggled but there were certain special moments that made me SCREAM like aishhhh what can I do my poor heart can't take sm fluff and romance hihi >//3//<

I LOVED IT. EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH THIS MASTERPIECE. Every actors did their best and oh williamest... The chemistry, the tension, the hunger is making me gonna insane. Love the pace, love the plot, love the colouring, love the background music, ost and everything. It's entirely different from thamepo and that's exactly what I loved it. So so so so so good. I really wish it was available for everyone to watch it for free🥹Dean: [ 🏴☠️ / 🚩] my boy dean is a proud manwh0re.
Moth: [ ⚠️ / 🏷️ /] he is kinda very rude yet pretty guy.
Ten: [ 🏷️ / 🌿] kinda sus about why he knows so much about dr.pun.
Pun: [ 🌿] the only green flag who deserves so much more better.. the empath inside me was feeling so so bad for him.. poor guy;(
Confession time: I'm team DEAN.(no one judge me) I just love how hot william is and how he respects consent.. and whoever team moth should rethink cause it looks like moth is already team dean too eventhough est might disagree with me haha and moth kinda reminds me of myself.. SO BIG NO. first episode actually made me scream FUCK DEAN. FUCK MOTH. FUCK TEN. LOVE YOU PUN.

It's a red flag series
WilliamEst as DeanMoth is just crazy...they have great Chemistry..I am following then since ThamePo and I can clearly say that these actors have improved so much not saying that they were bad in ThamePo no they were great there as well but then taking you maniac which is totally different from ThamePo says a lot about their acting. As a super-duper WilliamEst fan, I really wanted to love this. And honestly, the kilig factor is definitely there. Their chemistry and acting are still one of the strongest points of the series. WilliamEst is #1 on my list for a reason. 😭❤️But story-wise… I couldn't help feeling that we've seen this kind of BL storyline many times before. The “swag, handsome, head-turner guy who everyone is obsessed with” character feels like a familiar formula, and I’m not sure why WilliamEst had to do another version of something that has already been explored so many times in BL.
What disappointed me more was the production itself. Some scenes -- production quality sometimes looked cheaper than what I expected from a WilliamEst project. It gave me the feeling that the series was put together too quickly.
And that's probably my biggest frustration: WilliamEst can do better than this.
Their acting is good. Their chemistry is there. The kilig is definitely working. 😂 But because they're two actors I genuinely love and have so much potential, I was hoping for a story that would challenge them more and give them characters with greater depth.
Episode 1 isn't terrible — it just feels too soon to recycle this kind of story again. And for WilliamEst(and their whole team), I was expecting something that feels more fresh, more ambitious, and more worthy of what they can actually deliver.
Still watching, still rooting for them. 🫶🏻
I just hope the story proves me wrong in the coming episodes. 👀

Is this what the kids are upto these days?
It's ok so far. There is not much of a plot to speak of. One of those generic GMM productions. I might sound like a hater at this point, but I genuinely do love most of the performers & I want them to get better.William & Est are trying their best, but this just feels too mature for them. I love their banter and dynamics. Their chemistry is excellent. It feels like this premise requires more experienced actors. It's ike they are trapped between wanting it to be serious or funny. It's just messy in the end. It does look promising & I hope it gets better.
