Not for everyone

It's so cute honestly so much....breath of fresh air from episode 1-5 was amazing from 6-7it felt a bit childish mostly 6 I was like what is going on it was too childish so it may be not for you but I still went along with them....I love the second couple they were so cute and how minimum drama they had ....the first couple chemistry was amazing. What I wonder is why not kiss.... even chef kiss they had so many opportunities.....i have seen series where it highschool drama and couples kiss so....it's a bit annoying but honestly I got hooked with every episode I cried when I had to wait an entire week just to watch it.....

These kiddos...

A series straight out of a textfic—cute, trendy, Gen-Z, with all its silliness and goofiness. And it's completely pointless trying to point out the illogical things in a show that simply doesn't need to make sense :) because the teenage world is forever an entirely different universe, existing way beyond Earth and its proven rules. Especially the teenage world in movies.

A lighthearted series for those who simply come for entertainment and to feel the butterflies. Strangely enough, even though the school BL trope has been overused at times and the plot points follow familiar paths, CCC still has special bright spots that make me feel it nailed the essential elements of a complete and harmonious school drama. The impulsiveness of youth, living with dreams and passions, the confusion about the future while living fully in the present, along with those heart-fluttering moments—even if they are convoluted, baffling, and downright silly—are still incredibly beautiful and crystal clear.

I honestly think that with a seemingly limited production budget and a somewhat rushed script, the series achieved this level of quality largely thanks to the actors. The chemistry between Leeith and Putter is chef's kiss at a Michelin-star level. In the end, looking past the plot holes, what lingers in my heart are the scenes of these two silly kids. The characters aren't forced into stereotypical molds with predetermined traits; they feel natural and share many facets with real life, albeit in a rather literary way (by that I mean they feel like characters in a clumsily but solidly written school textfic that makes you coo over their cuteness, giggle, and kick your feet in the air while reading). Putter is seriously so adorable that it makes me want to pat his head :) However, as much as I love Putter, I can't deny that Lee is a model central character—more nuanced, well-rounded, and firmly established in his role.

Overall, looking strictly at the characters, each has their own personality, but their portrayal isn't boxed in. I think they did a great job in this regard, partly because the characters are never flat, overly polished, or detached. I definitely wouldn't be able to relate to a show where the students are naive in a textbook way—where the top student is always cold, unapproachable, and perfectly diligent, or the rebel only breaks rules, skips class, and plays games. I've always needed characters with a bit more "humanity" to them.

A huge plus for me while watching is that CCC isn't afraid to create drama. It doesn't try to follow a strict formula where the whole show is just about a purely sweet teenage romance (like the gentle, repetitive approach of some school dramas from G) . Even though some obstacles and plot twists feel a bit contrived—acting more as plot devices and script drivers rather than logical progressions—these elements are still a plus in my book. They allow me to see more layers to a character's psychology and the puppy love between these boys.

Specifically, for the first 5 or 6 episodes, I bet most people enjoyed the cute, enemies-to-lovers puppy romance just like I did. But towards the end, when conflicts and climaxes arise, this kind of love-and-friendship drama can easily confuse viewers. Yet overall, the somewhat goofy resolution and the simultaneously wholesome and awkward relationship between Leeith and Putter still left me smiling. The series doesn't try too hard to force the audience to laugh or cry; in a way, I can sense the characters' psychology and empathize with them, even if I don't fully agree with their thoughts or actions. That natural charm surprised me and earned my praise—especially for the actors, once again.

I probably don't need to say much more about youth, school life, friendship, family, or love. In terms of production, I'd say it's pretty decent. The Gen-Z social media elements are integrated quite well—just enough without being overused. The wholesome gender themes are also harmonious and cute. Everything hits that sweet spot of being lighthearted and adorable, enough to give me butterflies.

Seriously, these kiddos... they are just way too cute :) That's all I can say. I particularly love the "love conquers all" message in this series. Love is positioned as a source of encouragement, support, and motivation—not some grandiose, overarching macro-power, but more like a booster for the strength they already possess (even though I'm usually not a big fan of the love wins all trope).

Sooo cutesy

It's one of those BLs you need to watch after watching, for example, a show with toxic relationship or after a horror movie. So freaking adorable!!! The actors are age accurate to their characters which makes it even better because most shows have 30 year olds playing as 17 year olds so loved that.

In my opinion, this show is exactly like high school but way more happier. Their relationship was complicated due to them being in a friend group that didn't allow them to be together but despite that, they all found a way to be friends, make everyone happy, and love each other again!

I would so recommend as a show to pass the time

Teenage boys being teenage boys

I was a bit scared to watch this series at first, because the actors are pretty young. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad thing, but I still get PTSD from what they made young actors do back in 2016. But here, no big kisses, no +18 content, they are young actors who are acting accordingly to their age and not playing some oversexualized minors. No kisses, maybe just a little "smooch" if we can call that, but nothing extravagant, and it feels refreshing to see young actors being respected.

Don't expect no smut. It is a cute series, with cute couples and a little bit of "teenage fights". I saw a few people complaining that some reactions from the characters were over the top, but they are fifteen, guys... that is totally a normal reaction to have for a fifteen-year-old teenage boy. I don't think the drama is amazing in itself, but it's still a nice series to watch.

Teenage love will never be actually cringe

And unfortunately it all came to an end, but I'm deeply happy I'm here since the beginning.

I feel pretty seen as a teen, teenage love is confusing, rough, even dramatic. We're just starting our love journey, we learn through heartbreaks, break-ups, even when we mess up with our loved one. I'm far from thinking this series is cringy or "too dramatic".

I really wish we could get a second season, it looks like it's not over. I would love to see them growing up and learning more about themselves through this new relationships (or maybe this is just an excuse to see more of IndyJia).

Finally some refreshing air

I thought I would slowly grow out from highschool dramas, but I guess here we go again.

It's been so cute so far, I've been nonstop smiling to my ears through every episodes. I was a bit afraid it would have too many cringe scenes based on my past experiences of watching school dramas, but there wasn't even one moment where I would cringe out so far. It has the perfect ballance of silliness and romance. Also I wanna mention!! how it's finally a highschool series where the actors are actually highschoolers. It's so refreshing to see. Even though the actors are really young they did a great job portraying the characters. Can't wait to see more of their works

THIS IS A GOOD SERIES (so far)

Something about this series feels so refreshing. It doesn't give you a lot to expect, it just go with the flow. The series contains good aura, which is why it became adorable and so recommendable. I didnt know it would got me so hook up. Through the episode that are out, they got me laughing so bad it hurts my cheeks. One word to describe it is REFRESHING. We have so many on going series right now, which are also good, but this is one is different. They make me forget my problems, they make me forget the reality, the actors are so young that for someone like me who's already on the age of turning 22, i just love hiw they make me feel so young. Honestly i miss these kind of series. I feel like they dont make something like this anymore. I decided to watch because i said maybe it would feel like Lovesick 2024, and I'm not wrong. Actually, so

Best High school bl drama

Yujeen(Lee) and Yugene(Ter) have genuinely made me want to come back and watch this drama every single week. I went into Class Crush Crisis expecting a cute high-school BL, but I did not expect to become this emotionally invested in these two and their relationship. 🥹

There is something about their chemistry that makes their relationship incredibly easy to get attached to. Their happy moments are genuinely adorable, and watching them grow closer made me want to keep watching just to see where their relationship would go. The characters feel young and believable, and I really enjoyed the way their feelings developed throughout the story.

But then… episodes 6 and 7 happened. 😭

I am currently on episode 7 and honestly, my heart is struggling. Watching Yujeen and Yugene go through everything they have in these recent episodes has been painful because by this point I am already so attached to them. I went from smiling at their cute moments to sitting there wondering why the writers decided that my happiness was no longer important. 😂💔

What I appreciate most is that the drama has managed to make me actually care about the characters rather than simply watching because it is a BL. The emotional moments have more impact because you understand how much these relationships mean to them. Even when things become difficult, I still find myself hoping for the best for everyone involved.

I also really love the overall high-school atmosphere. It has the sweetness, awkwardness and emotional chaos that make these types of dramas so enjoyable. The cast has done a great job, and I would honestly love to see more of them in future projects.

And now we have reached the biggest problem: there are only 8 episodes. 😭

How am I supposed to emotionally recover from episodes 6 and 7 and then wrap everything up with ONE episode?! I haven’t even finished episode 8 yet, so I don’t know how everything is going to end, but I am already begging for more.

I really hope we get to see more from this cast and these characters in the future because I am absolutely not ready to let them go.

For now, I’m giving this drama a 10/10 because clearly I have suffered enough to earn that rating. 😂🥹❤️

And seriously… please give us a special episode. At least one. I am begging.

This serie is really fun to watch. Not only the act like teenagers but they ARE teenagers. It's also will make you lagh or smile .

What I liked most was how it balances comedy, friendship, school life, and romance without making everything feel overly serious the friendship feel entertaining to watch because the characters actually have different personalities instead of all feeling the same. The serie also has a youthful energetic atmosphere that makes it easy to keep watching.

Overall Class Crush Crisis is a cute entertaining watch with good chemistry, funny moments and lovable characters. I would definitly recommend if tou want to watch something fun and full of youth energy.

Loved it

Change2561 is famous for their very mature BLs like PitBabe. So when they launched this HS-set-up BL series on their lineup, I was pretty confused and surprised. When it aired, I was hooked from the 1st ep.

Honestly, I’ll say that the depth of the storyline is pretty typical for an HS setup: coming out, enemies to lovers, friends, crushes, school, and dreams. However, it was nice to see HS characters being played by actors who are actually in HS in real life. At least, you can really feel their innocence in everything, especially when it comes to life and, of course, love. It’s the age where they start to learn a lot of things.

The visuals of these kids are really to die for. I know they can really make a name for themselves in showbiz as long as they have good management. And the acting? It’s not awkward or cringe. The style is cute, fluffy, and innocent romance, and I think it’s well-balanced for their age.

The OST is good too. I haven’t searched yet if it’s Leeith who actually sang it. If it is him, then that’s plus one for me. 😂

One thing I love about this series is that there are a lot of girl characters involved. You know, sometimes in a BL series, girls’ scenes can feel like they’re dragging. But here, no. Again, it was well-balanced. Their characters might just be side characters, but they are all relevant.

Both the main leads and the side couples have good chemistry. Maybe except for the cheating part of Tae, and you can’t just say “they’re kids.” I really like the friendship that they were able to build. From being an introverted kid who couldn’t socialize to becoming the leader of the pack.

And again, the girls are relevant. They are not just there for decoration, to the point that Proud even joined Leeith’s band. And you know how Putter seeks advice from the girls and even hangs out with them.

And going back to the conflicts of chasing your dreams and coming out to your parents. I know it’s typical, but then again, we are talking about real high school here.

Again, I used to think I was done with HS series. Turns out, I still love them. I just need something that does it well.

A classic school BL that I'll eat up everytime

To be honest, I didn't expect to like this series as much as I do. As others have mentioned, it is your typical high school, but for me, I eat school BLs for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I thoroughly enjoyed the chemistry of the couples and the vibe of the entire series. LeeTer and IndyJia really surprised me, they're really adorable, and hopefully their future works are just as good or even better than this one. I also love the music, it's very catchy.
