Inukai Ryo is a top-performing, perfectionist, elite employee. However, he's also a huge fan of actor Urai Takato and his home is filled with otaku merchandise. Then, a new employee, Shiraishi Mashiro, transfers to the company and... his face is surprisingly similar to his idol's. Assigned as his training officer, Ryo finds himself being constantly pushed around by the hardworking and affable Mashiro, but his sanity gradually begins to crumble. Mashiro, like a dog who obediently stops when told to "wait" and then begs for a "reward", causes the relationship between boss and subordinate to gradually grow closer! Reviews
super sweet vertical series
Overall: I enjoyed how it focused on the leads. 30 short episodes available on GagaOOLala app and iQIYI app (iQIYI has 5 interview bts episodes). What I Liked
- focused on the 2 leads
- the taller guy wanted to be a puppy/pet
- sweet/caring moments
Room For Improvement
- guy with glasses had that overacting thing, but it wasn't too bad
- didn't show the head pat after he first asked for it
- wanted another couple episodes of them as a couple
30ep of CUTENESS + 5ep interview specials!
IQIYI recommended this to me one day. I usually have low expectations for vertical series cause they tend to be bad (obv). But I was surprise by how cute and simple this is!First of all, I think they actors did such a good job for 3 days of filming! Gennosuke faces pull was pretty funny at times (very anime I might say). Koki fitted Shiro (Shirashi)'s cute puppy kouhai personality so well too! For a first time actor, he did well! :D
To be clear: the story doesn't have "intense" plot. When Ryo's secret was out to Shiro, there wasn't a "Oh No, some conflict might happened!" moment. Shiro just teased Ryo by reenacting some lines from Urai's movies, making him die in happiness from the inside LMAO
there is ONE thing I'm still confuse about: Is Shiro the actor Urai, or is he JUST a Look alike? It would make sense if he WASN'T the actor because he works a normal office job after all. I guess he never said "I am Urai" at any point, so that should be the confirmation there hahah
Overall, cute and funny story~! :D
