The characters remain annoying and one-dimensional. I loved Jessie in the first series but here, she was constantly jealous and throwing a tantrum over really trivial things, which irked me a lot. Really couldn't stand how chauvinistic Yong was, constantly yelling at Jessie and overall being inconsiderate. Why do so many women fall in love with him???

The show became a lot more watchable after Carmen left though and the cases were much more interesting, especially the one involving several murders at a education centre.
