Nour Episode 5 Reactions
Episode 5 became a major turning point for both the romance and the mystery.Ken tried to send James back to headquarters to keep him safe, but James recognized the same light he had seen when his father was killed—the light released when a NOUR uses their power. He was furious that Ken still refused to trust him with the truth.Surprisingly, Pon and Tanmay were the ones who stopped James from leaving. They reminded him that the entire police station, and especially Ken, had changed since his arrival. If James truly loved Ken, he needed to uncover the truth and talk to him.Professor Jee already knew that Ken was a NOUR and that Ken had been searching for another NOUR to end his long life. He suggested that Ken consider living with James instead, but after two hundred years of loneliness, choosing life was not easy for him.James finally revealed that he could sense Ken’s true nature and promised to protect him from then on. After being loved despite his secret, Ken chose to trust James, and the two finally became one.Meanwhile, another NOUR appeared to be targeting Professor Jee, and Chita became even more mysterious. He could not eat the curry prepared by Jee’s mother and suddenly vomited. Was it really just nervousness about meeting his lover’s family?Ken, an immortal man who had been searching for death, is beginning to imagine a future because he has fallen in love. A NOUR in love is unexpectedly adorable.

James discovering Ken’s truth and them having a quick fight before finally talking and opening up emotionally... This is literally a game changer for the plot, excited to see what happens next!! Also, Chita is looking super shady to me, is he a Nour as well??

will start with the fact that i find it beyond annoying & really unprofessional, when i see Jirat or Ken performing an autopsy or collecting evidence from a dead body with their hair out - am pretty sure this wasn't the case in the 1st ep, so what gives?!? this so annoying to see & totally unprofessional & not fitting with the rest of this BL, which is really done well. what too much work for the hairstylist?!? ugh *************************************************************************************************************
anyway got my answer as to why Jirat's brother was so worried, he will start dating again (which also begs the question why is his mother against him dating?!?) cause sorry not sorry, that's whack & not a logical request or rule to make for ur child, not from a grown ass adult who should get to live his life, no matter how depended u r on him. Jirta's ex did the right thing in walking away, if she gave in now who promises that in the future when there comes a time for them to marry, the mother wont get in the way & prevent it??? why waste ur time on a lost cause? she was smart in walking away. *********************************
but Jirat's reaction doesn't bode well about his mental stability & kinda explains why he is obsessed with Chita. it also explained why when they haven't even started dating he thought to bring Chita to meet the family, that was so weird & yet not when u understand that this was his way for making it clear from the start that even if they dated, he could never openly declare they were together & Chita couldn't make any demands, cause he was forewarned... this is also the reason he chose Chita & why i was right that he did groom him, cause on top of informing him, he also created a situation where Chita felt indebted to him - which will make it harder for Chita to ask for more then Jirat is ready to give - whack relationship IMO & why i feel sad for Chita... even though mentioning Chita - his talking about his ex made me wonder is there more to Chita then meets the eye, is he really the predator & not the prey - i assumed? time will tell - also why is Thee's gf stalking Chita??? is Chita a Nour? & maybe her killing her own kind, is cause she can take their "powers"?***************************************************

regarding the mains, am happy the cat is out of the bag & that James wants Ken in spite of finding out his is a Nour, even though i don't get how he thinks he can help Ken when he doesn't have super human power - kinda laughable - but i guess it will be the end of the BL if he left lol. but hey they got some smokin chemistry, that's for sure... just find it kinda off putting that every time they make out James it bloody... or is that the real thing that attracts Ken?!? also i don't get why James eyes flash when he is looking at people's auras - that aint normal, not that there anything normal here. but would love answers - or it's cause it just look cool?!? ***************************************************************************************************************************
side note: the majority of the cast here were from Top Form & am guessing, the mains there were meant to star in this but cause of reasons.... i wont get into, they fell though. but what i find kinda weird, that Peanut (that played Johnny in TF) has a bit part in this & yet his r the eyes u see before the title in the start credits, why? shouldn't it have been Ken/Tongtong 's eyes he is the MC after all?!? & from what i recall Peanut is talented & good looking, so why doesn't he have a bigger role? weird.

What a great episode! Hitting each other one minute and then making out afterwards. These boys definitely know how to kiss. It was so passionate and natural that it genuinely felt like they were real boyfriends in real life.
Not only was their NC scene hot, intense and thrilling, but the moment James could see Ken’s colour while they were intimate and Ken covered his eyes and continued completely got me. That was insanely hot and such a unique touch. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an NC scene quite like that before. Probably one of the best NC scenes I’ve seen.
But what made the scene even better was that it wasn’t only about the physical intimacy. Their words to each other made it so much more emotional.
James asked, “Then do you love me?”
Ken replied, “Of course I do.”
Then James told him that if he loved him, he couldn’t send him away again. He loved Ken too and didn’t want to leave him. Even knowing Ken is a Nour who never dies, James still wants to stay by his side for as long as he possibly can.
That really got me. Underneath all the heat and passion, this scene was ultimately about James choosing Ken despite knowing exactly what he is and knowing that their time together can never truly be equal. He just wants whatever time they can have together. So beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time.
The Nour is now sitting at 8.7 on MDL, making it the highest rated BL on MDL right now, tied with Payback. Definitely deserves this spot!We are officially halfway through now and I’m enjoying this series so much. I just wish we were getting 12 episodes instead of only 10 because I’m already not ready for it to end.

For four episodes I’ve been sitting on the fence…falling off it…then looking for a ladder to climb back on. Episode 5 may finally be turning me into a believer.The push-and-pull between James and Ken finally creates the tension I’ve been waiting for. Instead of the series simply telling me these two are attracted to each other through romantic music and beautiful scenery, I finally felt it. Their relationship now has resistance, frustration, anger and desire…a much stronger springboard for what could become an exciting relationship.Meanwhile, Ji and Chita decided to demonstrate just how well they can kiss. Maybe Chita is simply enjoying his catch a little more. But just like in my previous review, something about Chita continues to bother me. It’s that limp. I keep getting Keyser Söze vibes. I have this crazy suspicion that one day Chita is simply going to straighten himself up, walk perfectly normally and reveal that he is far more powerful than anyone imagined…perhaps even the supreme Nour. And there goes poor Ji’s embattled heart.But the scene that really changed the episode for me was James holding the gun on Ken. That was intense.Finally…darkness, anger and tension with purpose. Boss made James’ anger believable without simply shouting his way through the scene, while Tongtong gave Ken the opposite energy…calm and collected while standing in the middle of James’ fury. This is exactly the kind of intensity I wanted from the finale of Mr. Kill. Off could take a few lessons from Boss on portraying anger, while others could learn from Tongtong how stillness can sometimes be more powerful than shouting.And suddenly my original Highlander comparison came roaring back. Sean Connery’s Ramírez understood the cruelest part of immortality: you don’t simply live forever…you watch the people you love grow old and die while you remain behind. Perhaps that is finally the key to understanding Ken. Maybe he isn’t afraid of loving James because he doesn’t feel anything. Maybe he’s afraid because he does.For James, falling in love means imagining a future together.For Ken, falling in love means knowing how that future eventually ends.And then came that scene. Well…fire. Whatever chemistry I complained was missing during the first few episodes suddenly arrived. Boss and Tongtong weren’t simply going through the choreography of an intimate scene. Their eye contact, hesitation, kissing and physical responses made the attraction believable. Whether one was enjoying the scene more than the other…I’ll leave that to everyone’s imagination. And yes, I noticed what the camera perhaps didn’t intend me to notice when James pulled Ken’s pants down. With kissing like that, perhaps Method acting has its occupational hazards.More importantly, this is what I want from actors playing lovers regardless of their own sexuality: commitment to the character. When the camera rolls, I shouldn’t see two actors worried about how intimate they look together. I should see James and Ken wanting each other. Boss and Tongtong finally sold that to me.And kudos to the cinematography. That classic swinging hanging light creating movement across their bodies was such a simple technique, but visually effective…sensual without needing the camera to do all the work.Episode 5 finally gave me what I’ve been asking NOUR for since the beginning: context, tension and chemistry.I fell off the fence. You gave me a ladder.Episode 5 finally made me climb it.

I won't comment on the intimate scene, but the good thing is that James knows everything there is to know about Ken now. And they even said they loved each other. 🫣😳 And finally being able to put their minds together to solve the Nour case with ALL the info? Let's go! Because it's been proven a gazillion times that two minds are always better than one. 🙂↕️☝️Ji and Chita, hmm...Chita is like a fluffy little pet — he's shy and does seem very pure and innocent. And that reason alone is why I forbid that Nour chick from harming him in any way. 🙅♀️But I'm not sure about Ji... Chita said he broke up with his previous partner because of that person lying to him, and Ji's face looked a little suspicious to me at that moment. Could he be lying about something to Chita that could potentially affect their relationship? 🤔
