a really good first episode… simple, yet it gives you everything.
I wasn’t planning on comparing the two versions, and maybe I shouldn’t, but if I had to choose, I would pick this one.
I know it’s only the first episode, but I’m already loving how simple and refreshing it feels. It doesn’t feel like it’s trying to do too much at once, and I really appreciate that. Everything feels natural so far, from the pacing to the way the story is being presented.
I’m already invested, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how this version unfolds.

Even the villain (Hikaru Vasayegh) is so cute and lovely .Good actors. And good Montage.

Cute!
But somehow. I was left on a cliffhanger! hahahaha. You're so cute, Ayuta!!!!!The story though be similar to Your Sky Thailand (hence, adaptation). It is still good, it is still cute, and it had some revisions of events and other details. They two as well, have some charisma. And they two are doing well! Please release Ep3 immediately, joke! Again, I was left in a cliffhanger. But hey, the acting is cute, and so is the ending part, they look cute there (No spoilers). Especially the... no spoilers. hahahahaha.

1A Japanese Remake That Gives a Beloved Story Fresh New Charm
I don't normally watch Japanese remakes of Thai dramas because they often feel lower budget and are much shorter than the original versions. Still, I absolutely loved the Thai version of Your Sky, so I decided to give this one a chance, and it did not disappoint. One episode in and I already have butterflies.Ayuta is absolutely adorable as Hinata. He captures the kind hearted, innocent, and optimistic personality perfectly, making him impossible not to love. This is the second time I've seen him after School Trip: Joined a Group I'm Not Close To, where he played a supporting role, and he has such a warm and friendly screen presence.
Isshin is also well cast as Sora. He perfectly matches the cold, protective, and intimidating senior from the original. As the feared campus prince, he has the right balance of toughness and hidden softness, and his chemistry with Ayuta already feels natural.
The biggest surprise for me, though, is Oji. Even as Sora's love rival and a supporting character, he completely steals every scene he's in. He is incredibly handsome and charismatic, and I honestly couldn't take my eyes off him.
One thing I really appreciate is that the remake isn't a scene for scene copy. It keeps the fake relationship premise and university setting but adds its own small changes to keep things fresh. In the Thai version, Hinata is rescued and is supposed to get into the car, but in this remake version Sora carries him home on his back instead. That scene was so cute and adorable. The beautiful city skyline in the background made it feel much more refreshing than simply sitting in a car, and it gave them the chance to have a sweet conversation in the fresh air.
After just the first two episodes, I'm completely hooked. I hope the series continues making thoughtful changes like this while staying true to what made the original so special. So far, this is probably the best Thai to Japanese remake I've seen.
If you enjoy romance, university settings, fake relationships that slowly become real, and sweet BL+ stories with lovable characters, this is definitely worth watching.

Episode 1:
* I love the cast. All of the characters remind me a lot of their original.
* It is pretty similar to the original, but due to how short the episodes are, some moments are missing. Which, in my opinion, is for the best since I wasn't a fan of the slow pacing in the original.

First impression
I loved how different the editing is from your regular jbls. Both the opening song and theme song are great.I also loved the character introduction which we usually dont see in jbls so this felt like a breath of fresh air.
I have been following Ayuta since his role in School Trip and he totally nailed the Hinata role. We didn't get to see thebside characters that much in Ep1 but I have a good feeling about this series.
