After being transferred from Tokyo to Fukuoka, Kota struggles to adjust to his new surroundings and feels isolated from the people around him. Hoping for a change, he volunteers to help with disaster recovery in Hoshino Village, where he clashes with fellow volunteers and questions his own purpose. There, Kota meets Keiichiro, a tea farmer who refuses outside help after devastating personal and financial losses. As Kota gets to know him, he begins searching for a way to help Keiichiro, and, in the process, discovers a new sense of direction in his own life.
