Hotel King Episode 17 Reactions
This episode, MN has well... again despises JW and acted like the biggest bitch to him. However, we know that she still has lingering feelings fo him. It's sad to see her be torn apart because of her feelings for JW. And it's JW fault as well, he need to tell her from beginning to end why he is on this path.
All they need is a serious discourse and that's not going to happen anytime soon. I'm going to predict that:
MN is going to keep loving and hating JW.
JW is going to keep quiet about his past and make everyone miserable by doing that, enticing MN hate for him even more.
I genuinely think that Manager Baek real son is JW and that Roman is her adopted son. Although Roman calls her mother, their relationship is really weird. I have a baby brother and he loves my mother, but he doesn't treat her like she is Mother Theresa. He treats her like his mother, loves her to pieces but complains when he wants it his way or mum's punishing him for something. The relationship between Roman and Director Baek is very imbalance, with Manager Baek getting all the power.
If Manager Baek is really JW mother than shouldn't VP know who she is. That's what's throwing me off from fully believing that Manager Baek is JW mother.
Next episode seems more angst. Seeing JW sick, aigooooo my heart hurts. That guy is having a very rough time, I think he needs to go back to that cottage with MN and recuperate.
Finally we discovered Baek's true colors. She has been the mastermind behind the hotel and she has been moving all of the pawns on the board so easily it makes you wonder if this newfound evil queen has a weak spot. In my opinion her weakness could be finding that her son is alive. Imagining that Jae Wan is her son as the flashbacks made me think, I wonder what Baek would do if she comes to know their relation. It wouldn't be strange if she already knows and wants to go against him anyway because he is the result of a violent intercourse and just by looking at him she gets mad because JW reminds her of the VP when he was young (wow, the actor they chose for young LJK resembles JW a lot). I have no idea. But I am sure that Roman is not her true son. The way they interact is like an angel savior and a grateful man. Roman's true ego hides behind his cool and confident façade he has put up not to disappoint his momma, and to show her gratitude because she saved him from death. Like JW with the VP but since BMN was victim of rape, I don't think she would ever dare to use violence against her adopted son. Her methods to hurt people are more subtle. In fact until two weeks ago I didn't believe that Baek could be the thorn in the side. She is like a worm, she is eating the apple from the inside and now she's reached the skin and she is not able to hide anymore. I wonder what her vendetta really is. I hope for more flashbacks so we can come to understand. I do think that part of this revenge is too much anyway. We'll see.
In this episode the peace of sh*** of the Ex-Vice Chairman reveals that Cha Jae Wan is his biological son to Ah Mo Ne. Not only he tells her this sh*** but also makes her think that Jae Won has always 'fullfilled his duties as a son' and helped Joong Goo to achieve his goals. After hearing that she gets manipulated by Joon Goo and feels betrayed and played with by Cha Jae Wan (again).
well as we knoe she kind of always forgives him 'cause she loves him so much and thats what also found amazing myself. Most heroins I've seen after hearing that the man you love have 'killed' your precious father and did all kind of other bad things they immediately fall in a deep depression and hate or keep distance from the male main lead for at least 3 episodes but Ah Mo Ne always found a way back to him and as I alredy said forgave him in the very episode she got to know about his doings. He didn't even had to say anything or explain himself. But not in this episode! This time it looks like ourJae Wannie will have to bear the consequenses of something that isn't his fault at all (again). And why this?
Of course because he didn't explained, didn't say the simple truth!
Jae Wans inner monologue "Where shoul I start...I lived all my life hating your father...and fell in love with you...even though I thought you were my sister. Now the man who raised me as a beast like this...is my father?".
I seriously almost explode at this moment. It was so sad and outrageous that my head almost exploded >_< How can I bear waiting for the next episode a whole week?! I'll die! XD
