Kim Soo Hyun is a South Korean actor managed by GoldMedalist. He debuted in the drama "Kimchi Cheese Smile" (김치 치즈 스마일) in 2007. His paternal half-sister is singer Kim Ju Na.

He is the most awarded actor of his generation, winning countless awards, including six Daesang (Grand Prize), five Baeksang Arts Awards, two Grand Bell Awards, and one Blue Dragon Film Award.

A passionate bowling enthusiast, Soo Hyun even applied to become a professional bowler in 2016. He ranked 10th out of 114 participants in his first tryout tournament but fell short of the 200 points needed to qualify on his second attempt.

One of the highest-paid actors in South Korea, he has been regarded as the "King of product endorsements" by media outlets and earned the esteemed nickname of “CF King," with an astounding 35 commercials in one year. He also set the record of being the face of 17 products simultaneously, overtaking figure skater Yuna Kim, who had set the record back in 2009 by amassing 15 endorsements.

After completing his mandatory military service, he returned to acting with the drama "It's Okay to Not Be Okay."

Since March 2025, he and his agency, Gold Medalist, have been involved in public controversy following allegations regarding a past relationship with the late actress Kim Sae Ron.
