Kokor0's Weekend Movie Picks

All of the movies I'm going to be telling you about today have become some of my favorites! But I couldn't review all my favorites so maybe next time? 2/3 of the movies here made me cry harder than I ever have before, in complete honesty. But all of the movies are incredible and I think the actors chosen for each movie really fit their roles amazingly. If you don't like crying... I highly suggest don't watch these movies xD

Country: Japan                             Year: 2007                         Genre: Drama, Romance, Tragedy

Synopsis: Koizora is a love story that was originally published on the popular cell phone site Mahou no iRando. It was authored by new writer Mika, and is based on her own experiences. The story was released in book form last October, selling more than a million copies in its first month. The story revolves around Mika (named after the author), who falls in love with her classmate, Hiroki, upon entering high school. But over the course of the novel, she ends up suffering through many trials.

This movie has to have become one of my favorites. A few of my friends kept trying to make me watch this way back whenever but I thought it'd be really dumb and cliché. As I started getting more into Japanese dramas, and movies recently, I chose to watch it. And the only regret I have about watching this movie is how my face looked after all the crying I did. It takes a lot for a movie to make me cry. I cried like a complete baby watching this movie. It's very sad, but it has very heartwarming moments in there as well. I recommend for all of you to watch this movie!

Country: Japan                                  Year: 2010                             Genre: Thriller, Psychological

Synopsis: Middle school teacher Yoko Moriguchi's life comes crashing down after the murder of her 4 year old daughter. Eventually Yoko Moriguchi suspects some of her own students to have been responsible for her daughter's death. An elaborate plan for revenge then ensues, including forcing students to drink HIV tainted milk.

To me, this movie is hands down amazing. The acting is great. You may feel the synopsis gives everything away, or at least most of it. I can tell you, there are so many more things to find out in this movie [which is completely insane]. The actors and actresses chosen for the movie play their role beautifully. This movie is kind of bloody at certain points. But if I could handle it, I'm sure you can c: This movie is very sad as well.

Intrigued by the cases, she asks Itsuki to go to one of a homicide scenes searching for the unfound dead body.

A really good movie. Pretty creepy too. I feel like if you don't pay attention to it [which I didn't at first] you won't understand some things. It's a very creepy movie so if creepy stuff isn't for you, I suggest you don't watch it actually. What I thought was weird about the movie though is how in the world could these kids actually do this stuff?! They weren't even scared! I can tell you if I had to do something like this, I would probably cry every waking moment.

So, I hope you get the time to watch these movies and enjoy them ;u;
