Atslipinbag's Weekend Movie Picks: Part 1

Let me share some love stories that I totally loved watching. Since (in my opinion) this is the most common genre, the number of movies is also abundant. My favorites are mostly from Korea because I've watched more movies from there.  And most are tearjerkers.

Synopsis: Gang Min Ah (Lim Su Jeong) is a high school girl who lives with her mother. One day Yeong Jae (Kim Rae Won), who is a college student trying to be a photographer, moves into the room below hers. And her somewhat dull life changes…

This is cute and yet sad. The side story of the crazy man is also heart wrecking. But Lim Su Jeong is very cute in this.

Synopsis: Oh Song Kyeong (Jung Ryeo Won) and Kang Dong Joo (Uhm Tae Woong) are both diagnosed with a terminal disease and are each given only 3 months to live. They decide to spend the rest of their time being together, planning funerals, putting their affairs in order, etc...

Believe me, this is super fun to watch (as you can see in the trailer too)! I laughed a lot watching this movie. They have great chemistry, and the story is refreshing!

Synopsis: Moon Yu-Jung (Lee Na Yong) is a college professor who has tried to commit suicide several times. Her aunt asks her to counsel a death row prisoner, Jung Yun Soo (Kang Dong Won), who experienced a traumatic childhood. They do not open up at first, but slowly they begin to have feelings for each other.

This is sad, super sad, but at the same time very beautiful. I felt so sorry for both characters, but mostly for Jung Yun Soo.  Loads of tissues needed.

Synopsis: Jo Kang (Cho Seung Woo) has always liked A-ri (Kang Hye Jung), ever since she transferred to his elementary school. He believes whatever she says, but she is always somewhat mysterious and keeps appearing and disappearing from  his life.  He thinks she likes him too, but he can never be sure of it. What will happen when he finds out the real reasons behind her actions?

Another tearjerker. But mostly this movie is fun to watch, it’s romantic, and the child actors are super cute!
