MyDramaList talks to Netflix Kdrama Actor Andrew Bishop, who worked alongside late Lee Sun Kyun
The teaser and posters for KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Trot Lovers” have been revealed.
There’s only a week left until the first episode airs and many have expressed their excitement for this drama. The teaser is very lively and funny, further increasing viewers’ desire to watch the first episode.
In the revealed teaser, Ji Hyun Woo, who plays the bluffing genius musician Jang Hyun Joon, is seen bumping into Jung Eun Ji’s character Choi Choon Hee, the aspiring trot singer. Also, Shin Sung Rok is seen in the role of Jo Geun Woo, who appears like a prince with a chic smile.
In the revealed posters, in order to match the music genre of trot, the overall feel is eye-popping. They also give off a sweet atmosphere in order to match the romantic comedy aspect of the drama.
As Jang Joon Hyun and Choi Choon Hee are at a close distance and looking at each other with loving eyes, just looking at the posters will make anyone’s heart skip a beat.
A staff member of the drama expressed, “I think the bright and romantic feeling was expressed well in the posters, just like the atmosphere of the poster photo shoot and the filming set of the drama. I hope that the viewers will anticipate a lot as we plan on showing fresh comedic scenes.”
Meanwhile, “Trot Lovers” is a refreshing romantic comedy about a girl named Choi Choon Hee, who has placed everything on the line to become a trot singer, and the genius musician Jang Joon Hyun, who despises trot and Jo Geun Woo, the representative of an agency.
The first episode of the upcoming drama “Trot Lovers” will be aired on June 23.
