A Stalker's Guide to Kim Soo Hyun

Kim Soo Hyun was born on the 16th of February and he is 26 years old. He became very popular after playing a leading role in Dream High. From that day onwards, his popularity has only been growing. For me as a person he mean a lot and I am his big fan. When I first discover him in The moon that embraces the sun i thought i saw an angel. His acting was amazing and everything. This person helped me in hard times and i am thankful! When he cried i cried with him too. After I was done with watching my first drama with him I searched more about him and watched shows with him.

Lot of you are shocked why I didn't add Dream High in here but it's simply because for me he mostly shine in the dramas below. In Dream High he was good but the show plot was for me not interesting so I didn't want to make him look bad! That's why these are my personal favourite projects he was in. I hope you enjoy it!

THE MOON THAT EMBRACES THE SUN

This was my first Soo Hyun drama , and I must say -  I made a good choice to watch this. At first I thought I would like Jung Il Woo more, but I was wrong. I completely fell in love with Soo Hyun's character - king Lee Hwon. He was romantic and completely in love with the main girl. I want to have such a man in my life! Even when they were apart, he was still in love with her and didn't even sleep with his queen, because he couldn't cheat on his love. I think, he is the best actor I know and believe me I've seen a lot of actors. Soo Hyun always acts so perfectly, that I end up actually becoming more and more convinced that he's the character he's playing. His face is also extremely expressive in how he can show power, but also sadness and madness too. We can see his tears and frustration. At the amazing end of the drama I literally stood up from my chair and applauded him, because this guy deserved it! This is still my favorite historical drama and I think nothing will change that. I've re-watched it many times, mainly because of the great acting of the main lead - Soo Hyun. Yes, other characters were amazing too, but no one was better than him!

SECRETLY GREATLY

This movie was really amazing...Yeah, my first sentence is like this, but it's true! I love this type of movies, even if everything doesn't always go smoothly. I was so excited, when I saw that Soo Hyun will be the main guy again. In it, he plays a very funny, goofy character who was also very skilled with guns and other deadly weapons - he plays the role of a secret agent.

In this movie, I became convinced of his ability to act out serious situations extremely well. Another thing that really made me love his acting, and this movie, was the sheer amount of bromance in it. Now bromance is one of my favorite things in a drama, and so I enjoyed every moment of it in this movie! If you aren't good at reading emotions on people's faces, you may not enjoy this movie since Soo Hyun's character was pretty quiet and only showed emotions through his facial expressions. You have to look closely and you will see it for sure - fear for his comrades and fear that he will die. He may seem tough, but everyone has a weakness, right? At the end of the movie I was very touched, because he showed me how much he cared for his friends. He did everything he could for them! I loved this so much that I even wrote a short story for them - like a sequel - because I just couldn't let them end like that!

YOU WHO CAME FROM THE STAR

This is Soo Hyun's latest drama and most people have probably seen it, or at least heard of it. Still, i'm going to write about it.

Firstly, I loved the concept of this drama - an Alien, who comes down to Earth. I haven't ever seen this in any Korean or even non Korean tv shows I have watched. That's why this was unique and I had to see it - though Soo Hyun is perfect for this role. I would want him as my teacher, because he was patient, kind, sweet and all those other cheesy things I can think of. It was funny to watch his video diary, where he always talked about his hidden feelings. He was confused at first and very strict towards the female lead, but later...  his look was full of love and concern. I was happy for them, but  I would want him for myself. An alien, who can protect me from a twisted killer or a test that I didn't study for. I loved his powers and it was funny watching him use them. All in all, if you haven't seen this yet, WATCH IT!! WATCH IT NOW!

Kim Soo Hyun also starred in:

Dream High and The Thieves.

So this is the end of my second Stalker's Guide. Hope you enjoyed it and it helped you to choose another drama to watch. Please leave a comment below on which Soo Hyun drama or movie was your favorite.
