Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
tvN unveils their drama lineup for the whole year of 2021.
tvN shared that 2021 will be full of dramas with diverse plots, genres and star-studded cast. Viewers can look forward to each of the dramas that will be released.
For the first half of the year, tvN will broadcast "L.U.C.A.: The Beginning", "Vincenzo", and "Mouse".
"L.U.C.A.: The Beginning" starring Kim Rae Won, Lee Da Hee and Kim Sung Oh started airing on February 1. It started off with 9.7 and 13.6 percent ratings nationwide. "Vincenzo" led by Song Joong Ki, Jun Yeo Bin and 2PM's Ok Taecyeon will premiere on February 20. This will mark Song Joong Ki's return to dramas since "Arthdal Chronicles". On March 3, Lee Seung Gi and Lee Hee Joon's drama "Mouse" will premiere.
The second season of "Hospital Playlist" will also air on the first half of the year. Casts Jo Jung Suk, Yoo Yeon Suk, Jung Kyung Ho, Kim Dae Myung, and Jeon Mi Do will all return to the drama. Song Kang's drama "Navillera" will also be part of the first half, as well as "My Roommate Is A Gumiho" with main leads Jang Ki Yong, Girls Day Lee Hye Ri and Kang Han Na. Park Bo Young will also return to the small screen with Seo In Guk in the drama "Doom at Your Service". The last drama for the first half of the year will be "Mine" starring Lee Bo Young and Kim Seo Hyung.
For the second half of the year, tvN revealed some of the dramas that will be released such as "You Are My Spring", "The Devil Judge", and last but not the least, the most awaited drama "Cliffhanger (Jirisan)".
Seo Hyun Jin and Kim Dong Wook will be the main leads for upcoming drama "You Are My Spring". On the other hand "The Devil Judge" recently confirmed its cast lineup including Ji Sung, Kim Min Jung, GOT7's Park Jin Young and Park Gyu Young. Last on the lineup revealed is Jun Ji Hyun who will have her grand comeback to dramas with "Cliffhanger". Joo Ji Hoon will be the male lead of the upcoming drama.
According to Kim Je Hyun, director of CJ ENM IP Business Division, tvN will continue to provide quality dramas just like last year for the fans here in Korea and overseas.
