ASTRO's Yoon San Ha, Oh My Girl's Arin, & Chuu will reportedly work together in a new K-drama
2 PM's Hwang Chan Sung has chosen his next K-drama project.
On November 21, Hwang Chan Sung's agency L' July Entertainment revealed that the idol actor will be joining the upcoming MBC K-drama Our House.
Hwang Chan Sung then shared his thoughts on joining the upcoming K-drama, "The drama has an interesting story and catchy lines. It's a project that encourages me to think about how I can improve, especially as I look forward to working with experienced seniors I respect. Rather than just memorizing lines, I find that working closely with other actors on set creates a good energy and makes each shooting day exciting."
Our House will be the follow-up K-drama project of Hwang Chan Sung after starring in the K-drama Bo Ra! Deborah with Yoo In Na, Yoon Hyun Min, Joo Sang Wook, Girls Day's Park So Jin, and iKON's Koo Jun Hoe.
Aside from his acting activities, Hwang Chan Sung is also active in meeting his fans globally. He recently had his solo fan meeting tour in Japan and he also collaborated with Hong Kong Tourism Organization. His short film with the tourism agency will be unveiled within the year.
Hwang Chan Sung is known for being part of the K-dramas Show Window: The Queen's House, So I Married an Anti-Fan, My Holo Love, What's Wrong with Secretary Kim, and more.
Our House will tell the story of Korea's top psychological counselor and her mother-in-law working together to protect their families. The two will join forces to find out the secrets and truths about their husbands and protect their families from an unknown blackmailer.
The K-drama will be helmed by director Kim Seung Woo (Bring Me Home) and writer Nam Ji Yeon (So I Married an Anti-Fan).
Our House will be led by Kim Hee Sun, Lee Hye Young, Kim Nam Hee, Yeonwoo, Lee Joo Young, and Jung Heon.
In the K-drama, Hwang Chan Sung will portray the role of Noh Young Min, the younger brother of Kim Hee Sun's character Noh Young Won. Unlike her sister who is one of the best in her profession in Korea, Noh Young Min is the total opposite and is known as a pathetic person.
Our House will be part of MBC's Friday and Saturday K-drama timeslot. The K-drama will premiere in 2024.
