Most of his songs are written and composed by him. When Gaho was young, he used to write songs on the staircases at school after getting kicked out of class for talking. The first song he produced, wrote, and arranged was Come to me (내게 와), the OST for the drama While You Were Sleeping sang by Lee Jong Suk.

I came to know Gaho from the OST "Start Over" of Itaewon Class and since that moment, I really fell in love with him. His voice is unique, fans call Gaho the “vocal king”, which makes him feel honored and flattered. He really deserves to be called this. "Start Over" made my day and made me feel full of energy, positive vibes, and made me productive. I used to listen to this song while studying. Also, "Running" has the same theme as "Start Over" and they are the best songs to recharge your energy after a day of school or work.

The OST "Start Over" won Best OST in the 4th Soribada Best K-Music Awards and the 22nd Mnet Asian Music Awards!
