After becoming a scene stealer as Honda in A Shop for Killers, actor Park Jeong Woo will once again swoon viewers in the upcoming K-drama Spice up Our Love.
On October 2, it was officially confirmed that actor Park Jeong Woo will return to acting with the upcoming spin-off of No Gain, No Love, Spice Up Our Love.
This will be the second official K-drama of the actor. Park Jeong Woo made his K-drama debut in 2022 through the series The Director Who Buys Me Dinner. He also made a special appearance in the 2024 series A Shop for Killers. He will also guest on the upcoming series I Am a Running Mate.
He made his name known after being an advertising model for years. Just this year, he was one of the scene stealers in the hit Disney+ K-drama as Honda, the friend of Lee Dong Wook's character in the series.
Spice Up Our Love will showcase the journey of a writer who finds herself inside her novel. The novel is a romantic fantasy about a 19+ web novel writer who becomes the main character of her work. The story is based on one of the main characters from No Gain, No Love, Nam Ja Yeon.
Park Jeong Woo will work alongside main leads Lee Sang Yi and Han Ji Hyun.
Han Ji Hyun will continue to play the role of Nam Ja Yeon, and she'll also be playing Seo Yeon Seo, the main character of her web novel.
Lee Sang Yi on the other hand will portray the role of Kang Ha Joon, the CEO of GB Electric. Kang Ha Joon is the male lead of the web novel and is known for being a perfect conglomerate.
Meanwhile, Park Jeong Woo will portray the role of Dokyeom. He is the secretary of Kang Ha Joon, the CEO of GB Electric.
The upcoming K-drama will be the joint work of director Jung Hoon and writers Cho Min Jeong and Kim Hye Young. The series will be produced by CJ ENM STUDIOS.
Spice Up Our Love will premiere on October 3. It will exclusively premiere on the OTT platforms TVING and Amazon Prime Video.
