Yoon Gyung Ho joins Han Seok Kyu and Han Ye Ri in "The Intimate Traitor"
B.A.P's Yoo Young Jae will have his first-ever leading role in a historical drama!
On December 20th, it was reported that Yoo Young Jae will be the male lead for the upcoming drama "Love In Spring."
Yoo Young Jae's agency J World Entertainment shared that this will be the actor's first-ever lead role in a drama.
"Love In Spring" will be based on the webtoon of the same title by Noh Myung Hee. The drama will narrate the story of the main characters, one tries to take off their slavery status, and the other disguises as a woman. Love will blossom between the two.
Yoo Young Jae will play the role of Jin Geum Seong, a poor nobleman who stays together with their mother and has a hard time making ends meet.
Other cast members of the dramas are Kim Song and Kim Seong Hee. Kim Song will play the role of Choi Hye Seong, a man who disguised as a woman.
"Love In Spring" will premiere in the first half of 2022 and it will exclusively be available on the OTT streaming platform, Watcha.
This year, Yoo Young Jae starred in the KBS drama "Police University" with Cha Tae Hyun, B1A4's Jung Jin Young, f(x) Krystal Jung, Choi Seo Won, Hong Soo Hyun, Lee Jong Hyuk, and more.
He was also part of the dramas "Kim is A Genius" and "Woman of 9.9 Billion." He was also part of the hit 2020 series "Mr. Queen" and this was his first time to act in a historical drama.
Aside from dramas, Yoo Young Jae is set to star in the upcoming movie "Sing A Song."
Yoo Young Jae first debuted as an idol through the group B.A.P. After leaving his former agency, he finally signed under JWorld Entertainment and continued to pursue his singing and acting career.
