Kim Hyeong Seo, known for her presence as a singer, is set to solidify her position as an actress by playing the critical drug distributor Hae Ryeon in The Worst of Evil, where she controls the Korean-Chinese-Japanese drug cartel.

The Worst of Evil (written by Jang Min Seok and directed by Han Dong Wook) is a crime action drama that depicts the process of detective Joon Mo (Ji Chang Wook) infiltrating an organization to dismantle the central gang in the 1990s' Korean-Chinese-Japanese drug trade.

As Joon Mo gets closer to the truth about the drug cartel that Ki Chul (Wi Ha Joon) planned, Hae Ryeon's distinct presence will become more evident. Playing a pivotal role in the massive drug trade spanning three Asian countries, she will undeniably influence both the Gangnam Alliance and Joon Mo, as well as other foreign traders, creating a tense atmosphere.

As the series progresses, Hae Ryeon will observe Joon Mo and others from a different angle, experiencing emotional changes. The dynamics between Ji Chang Wook, Wi Ha Joon, and Im Se Mi's characters will be shaken in the process.

Kim Hyeong Seo, who demonstrated her acting prowess and infused her unique atmosphere into the work, garnered praise from director Han Dong Wook, who stated, "When I first met her, vibes she gave off was Hae Ryeon herself." He continued, "Her actions, gestures, and speech were so Hae Ryeon-like and her acting captured the raw essence exceptionally well."

Costume director Chae Kyung Hwa also praised Kim Hyeong Seo's portrayal, saying, "To capture the seductive and strong characteristics of Haeryeon, we utilized animal patterns and bold accessories, which Kim Hyeong Seo skillfully incorporated." She emphasized that Kim Hyeong Seo's performance significantly established 'The Worst of Evil' stylish atmosphere. With her impressive emotional range and presence that belies her rookie status, attention is focused on Kim Hyeong Seo's performance.

The Disney+ original series The Worst of Evil has generated considerable buzz with the participation of top Korean actors such as Ji Chang Wook, Wi Ha Joon, and Im Se Mi. It will be available on Disney+ on September 27th.
