Byun Yo Han will possibly star in the upcoming drama "Uncle Samsik."
On September 20th, media outlet OSEN reported that Byun Yo Han will be part of the upcoming drama "Uncle Samsik."
According to reports, Byun Yo Han will be one of the main leads of the upcoming drama and the actor is positively considering joining the series.
"Uncle Samsik" will showcase the journey of two men named Samsik and Kim Sam and how their strong bromance faces obstacles during the turbulent times in the early 1960s. The series will be helmed by director Shin Yeon Shick who's known for the works "Cassiopeia" and "One Win."
Byun Yo Han got the offer to play the role of Kim Sam, the person who will survive the turbulent times along with Uncle Samsik.
Meanwhile, this will be the debut drama of top actor Song Kang Ho.
"Uncle Samsik" will reportedly have 10 episodes. The broadcast channel hasn't been finalized.
If Byun Yo Han confirms his casting, this will be his second upcoming drama. He will first appear in the upcoming series "Death to Snow White" with Go Jun, Go Bo Gyeol, Kim Bo Ra, Bae Jong Ok, and Kwon Hae Hyo.
Aside from dramas, Byun Yo Han will also star in the upcoming film "She Died." He will be working with
Shin Hye Sun, Lee El, Jang Sung Bum, and Han So Ha.
Byun Yo Han made his acting debut in 2011. He became more known after starring in the dramas "Misaeng: Incomplete Life," "Six Flying Dragons," and "Mr. Sunshine." The actor is also active in the film scene. He was part of the movies "Hansan: Rising Dragon," "The Book of Fish," "Will You Be There?,'' "Phantom Detective," "Socialphobia," and more.
