"Call It Love" Set to Release on Disney+, "Brain Works" and "Trolley" Escalate In Ratings

Disney+ has recently revealed the release date of its upcoming original drama "Call It Love". According to the sources, the romantic melodrama will premiere on February 22. The K-drama stars Kim Young Kwang and Lee Sung Kyung as the leads. Sung Joon and Ahn Hee Yeon will also play the main roles, whereas Kim Ye Won will be seen in the supporting role of Shim Hye Seong. The drama is helmed by Lee Kwang Young (famous for her work in The Secret Life of My Secretary) and will mark the debut of the screenwriters Kim Ga Eun and Kim Ji Yeon in the Korean cinema industry.

The K-drama will air every Wednesday and Thursday. It will be available to watch on Disney+. 


The KBS drama "Brain Works" observed a sharp increase in viewership ratings for its latest episode. According to Nielsen Korea, the K-drama garnered an average nationwide rating of 4.3% on January 16. This is a sharp increase from last week when the drama got its lowest ratings of 3.3% for its 4th episode on January 10.

Alongside "Brain Works", the SBS drama "Trolley" also got an increase in ratings. The thriller mystery achieved an average nationwide viewership of 4.4% for its 9th episode on January 16. It is an impressive increase from its last episode when the K-drama's rating was recorded at 3.7%. 

"Trolley" stars Kim Hyun Joo and Park Hee Soon as a couple. Kim Hyun Joo plays Kim Hye Ju - Nam Joong Do's (Park Hee Soon) wife - who hides a secret from her past. Nam Joong Do is a member of the National Assembly. One day, Hye Ju's secret is revealed to the public, and the couple now faces struggles never encountered before.
