Chae Jong Hyeop will be the next leading man of Kim So Hyun.
On November 18th, Chae Jong Hyeop's agency IOK Company confirmed that Chae Jong Hyeop will be the male lead for the upcoming drama "Is It Fate?" It was also revealed that the filming will start soon and the drama will air in 2023.
"Is It Fate?" will tell the story of a youth who will meet their first love 10 years ago by chance. The series will be based on the webtoon of the same name.
Kim So Hyun confirmed her appearance earlier. The series will be the next project of director Song Hyun Wook ("The Golden Spoon," "The King's Affection," and "The Beauty Inside") and writer Park Geu Ro.
Chae Jong Hyeop will play the role of Kang Hoo Yeong. He is a person who doesn't need to exert much effort because he always gets the best results. He migrated to the United States and after a long time, he returns to Korea. There, he meets his friend from high school Lee Hong Joo and his forgotten feelings suddenly become not so forgotten.
Kim So Hyun will play the role of Lee Hong Joo, the first love of Kang Hoo Yeong.
