The still-cuts featuring Choi Jae Rim in the role of Yoon Beom - Sang Eun's (Im Ji Yeon) husband, from the Genie TV original drama  Lies Hidden in My Garden has been unveiled on May 19.

Based on the bestselling novel of the same name, Lies Hidden in My Garden is a suspenseful thriller that tells the story of two women who meet and find their lives changing due to the strange smell emanating from the backyard.

In this gripping tale, the talented musical actor Choi Jae Rim plays the part of Yoon Beom, Sang Eun's abusive husband and a sales representative at a pharmaceutical company. Yoon Beom inflicts domestic violence within the confines of his home and resorts to financial coercion by exploiting the corrupt dealings of his business associates. As his sinister actions intensify, he becomes a harbinger of great catastrophe.

In the first still, Choi Jae Rim is seen seated on a worn-out sofa in the living room of a dilapidated villa, wearing a casual shirt. His frustration-filled gaze is fixated somewhere, accentuated by his furrowed brow, hinting at an imminent outburst of searing words.

In another still, the actor is seen sitting behind the wheel, glancing at something with an air of arrogance while traversing an upscale residential area. His eyes convey his corrupt desires and malevolent disposition, leaving viewers intrigued about the secrets he holds.

The final still portrays him standing outside a house with pockets in his hands, looking at something in the distance with squinting eyes.

The mystery thriller is directed by Jung Ji Hyun, also the director of hit dramas like The King: Eternal Monarch and Twenty-Five Twenty-One

Lies Hidden in My Garden will premiere on June 19. More news about the K-drama's broadcast on international OTT platforms is yet to come.
