Netflix has confirmed the production of Culinary Class Wars Season 2.
Since its release on September 17, Culinary Class Wars, the first variety show from Korea presented by Netflix to rank No. 1 in the global TOP 10 TV (non-English) category for three consecutive weeks, has been officially confirmed for the production of Season 2. The upcoming season promises even fiercer culinary class battles and is preparing for production with the goal of a release in the second half of next year.
In Season 2, PDs Kim Hak Min and Kim Eun Ji from Studio Slam, who led the first season, will once again team up with writer Mo Eun Seol to bring an upgraded version of the culinary class war.

Culinary Class Wars captivated audiences worldwide with its unique premise never before seen in culinary survival shows. The show also dominated domestic buzz charts. For four weeks following its release on September 17, Culinary Class Wars swept through Korea. It ranked No. 1 for three consecutive weeks in the overall TV rankings (including both dramas and non-dramas), according to the FUNdex report by Good Data Corporation. It also made history as the first OTT variety show to rank No. 1 in Gallup Korea's September survey of Koreans' Favorite Programs, cementing its place on the list of one of the top Korean variety shows of all time.
