"Death's Game" Stars Light Up the Script Reading Session of the K-Drama

The TVING original series Death's Game dropped pics from the script reading session of the K-drama.

Death's Game is the story of Choi Yi Jae (Seo In Guk), who goes through the cycle of life and death 12 times as a punishment for trying to take his own life.

Death's Game has an all-star cast including Seo In Guk, Park So Dam, Kim Ji Hoon, Choi Si Won, Sung Hoon, Kim Kang Hoon, Jang Seung Jo, Lee Jae Wook, Lee Do Hyun, Go Youn Jung, Kim Jae Wook, and Oh Jung Se.

The script reading session was attended by director Ha Byung Hoon and the main cast, including Seo In Guk, Park So Dam, Kim Ji Hoon, Lee Jae Wook, Go Yoon Jung, and Yoo In Soo.

After exchanging warm greetings, the actors immersed themselves in their characters as the script reading began.

Seo In Guk meticulously portrayed the emotional turmoil of Choi Yi Jae, who gave up on his life but found himself living 12 lives as a form of punishment from Death.

Park So Dam exuded a dark aura, portraying the charisma of Death, an entity neither divine nor demonic.

Kim Ji Hoon injected tension into the session by taking on the role of Park Tae Woo, a character not present in the original webtoon. Go Yoon Jung transformed into Lee Ji Soo, delivering her dialogues in a calm and composed tone.

Lee Jae Wook captivated with a commanding voice that caught everyone's attention, while Yoo In Soo made an impression with his strong presence.

The cast, maintaining their speaking style similar to one another, portrayed excellent teamwork and synergy with Seo In Guk as if they were acting as one person.

The production team shared that the challenge was to show the same character in different ways (as Choi Yi Jae goes through numerous incarnations), and the actors' performances solidified the drama's worldview. They asked for viewers' high expectations.
