EXO's Doh Kyung Soo will officially lead the new KBS drama "True Sword Battle."
On April 5th it has been confirmed that Doh Kyung Soo will lead the new law drama. He will be working with director Kim Sung Ho ("Move to Heaven") and writer Lim Young Bin ("Sketch"). The series will be produced by Neo Entertainment and Vlad Studio.
"True Sword Battle" will revolve around a prosecutor armed with delinquency. He will do anything to break down the greed of people who uses their money and power over others. He doesn't care about the standard practice and chooses delinquency to stop corruption in society. The drama will showcase a refreshing take on justice and will make the viewers forget the frustrating reality for a while.
Doh Kyung Soo will play the role of prosecutor Jun Jeong in the third division of the Central District Prosecutors’ Office. He has a deep sense of justice. He always stands on the side of the weak and fights for them with the principle of "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth." He wants the victims to have their revenge ten times more than what they have experienced.
Aside from Doh Kyung Soo, actress Lee Se Hee and Park Riwon will also reportedly join the upcoming drama.
"True Sword Battle" is set to premiere within this year.
After four years, Doh Kyung Soo will officially return to the small screen. He last starred in the 2018 hit series "100 Days My Prince." The idol-actor has been busy filming movies since his military discharge.
Doh Kyung Soo is set to star in upcoming movies such as "The Moon" and "Secret." He will also take part in the programs "EXO's Ladder: Season 3" with his group EXO, and "Off The Grid" where he will travel and share how someone likes him relaxes and be himself while alone.
