Han Ji Eun will reportedly lead the upcoming TVING original series tentatively titled "Ants are Riding."
On December 22nd, Han Ji Eun's agency Secret ENT shared the news that the actress has received an offer to star in the upcoming TVING drama "Ants are Riding." The agency also stated that Han Ji Eun is considering the offer positively.
"Ants are Riding" is a human comedy-drama about 5 individuals who join the stock market and learn more about life, love, and friendship through stocks.
Han Ji Eun got the offer to play the role of Yoo Mi Seo. She's new to stocks and a "professional loser" who will turn 150 million in deposits to 1,500. As she engages more in stocks, she will achieve true growth and learn more about life.
Other production details and specific broadcast dates of "Ants are Riding" are still under discussion. The drama will exclusively be available on the OTT platform TVING in 2022.
"Ants are Riding" will be joining the list of TVING's dramas such as "Work Later, Drink Now," "The Witch's Diner," "Happiness," and "Yumi's Cells."
Han Ji Eun is currently starring in the tvN drama "Bad and Crazy" with Lee Dong Wook, Wi Ha Joon, VIXX's N, Sung Ji Ru, and Cha Shi Won. If the actress accepts the new TVING drama, this will be her follow-up drama project after "Bad and Crazy."
Aside from dramas, Han Ji Eun will also appear in the upcoming movie "Moradong" with Lee Dong Hwi and Girls Day's Park So Jin.
Han Ji Eun debuted in 2010 through the movie “Be With Me”. Since then, she has become active in both dramas and films. She was part of the hit dramas "Kkondae Intern", "Be Melodramatic", and "100 Days My Prince."
The actress also made special appearances in several dramas this year such as "My Roommate Is a Gumiho" and "The Witch's Diner."
